Bye Bye Geese!!! I live on a private lake and this summer we were besieged with 25-35 geese and burdened with a close minded HOA that prohibited the use of any barriers on our nicely manicured waterfront. Owners kept one eye on the water all day so they could run outside to bang sticks or pots/pans together, use bike horns, shoot starter guns and firecrackers, yell, scream and holler, put up cut out paper foxes, throw rocks, etc. Then they had to clean the lawn especially after the “deposits’ made during the night. This is mainly a retirement community and it was sad to watch some the less able bodied try to clean the lawn. I did some research on goose deterrent devices and found most to be ineffective. I bought Mylar tape and stakes but the HOA ordered it removed. I decided to spend $20 on this little green laser and it turned out to be priceless. The geese HATE it. It disturbs the ambient light around them and they perceive it as a threat. They moved as if they saw their most mortal enemy on the shore! The best part is that I didn’t even have to get up. I would sit on the balcony or deck, wait until they were near the shore and then flash it. This laser is far reaching and I used on it the neighbors lawns as well. In the bright sunlight and on the water I would loose track of it. Under those circumstances I found it worked best to wait until they were within a few feet of the shoreline so that I could see where it was aimed. On overcast days, at dusk or at night it was a miracle worker. One morning around 2am, they were making a huge racket. I couldn’t see them but I aimed it in the general direction and it was instant chaos. Half flew away and the rest dispersed to wherever they hide out and peace was restored. I was careful not to use it when other animals were outside, aim it toward the sky and the grandchildren weren’t allowed to touch it. Read the online studies, the reports on the humane society websites as well as other government websites that deal with wildlife and watch the videos on youtube. Next year I plan on installing some on the dock. There is some evidence that shows a night time laser will make geese view the area as a threat and they will migrate to another location. The biggest drawback is that you have to be outside or on a porch, deck or balcony to see the geese approaching. But where else would you be in the summer on a lake?

Very impressive brightness. At night time I can easily see the laser dot at 575 yards - see attached photos. Easily visible in daylight on a cloudy day at noon at 50 yards, as I was shooting today. I have not been able to test at further distance in daylight, nor under clear skies. But I can say that compared to my $400 Eotech 512, this is just as much fun and just as accurate at 50 yards shooting targets for fun. I did not get to shoot further than this, but my impression is that the dot will be a tiny bit larger than the 1 MOA Eotech dot (on the holographic site) at 100 yds, making this less accurate than an expensive holographic sight at long distances. Heck, no one is going to tell you this is BETTER than an Eotech. and I'm not getting rid of my Eotech - they are totally different technologies. There are some definite practical advantages of holographic sights over laser sights - but that is for another discussion. If you just want to get your bullet to the right spot, if you just like to go to the range and shoot 50 - 100 yds, you'll get the same results using this Pinty laser sight as you will with an expensive holographic site, and have just as much fun. I shot 300 rounds of 5.56 today on an AR-15 and this held zero very well. It won't fail due to recoil, and the mount is excellent high quality anodized aluminum. Comes with a picatinny rail mount, battery, and a figure-8 mount. I have always thought laser sights were silly until I actually tried this. I am EXTREMELY satisfied - for the price you just have to get one. This also comes with a battery, an allen wrench for you to mount it, a remote switch, and some velcro to mount the remote - the remote is 'momentary on" only. That means that when you press it, the laser is on. When you release pressure, it goes off. You cannot click to toggle the laser on / off using the remote - you have to press the tail cap button to do that. I'd rather have a remote toggle on/off - but in my experience, all such remotes are momentary - I've not found a remote toggle for any lights or laser yet. Also the windage and elevation adjustments are excellent - nice palpable clicks, very crisp, and nobs are easy to use without tools. Very easy to sight in. This laser beam is also GREAT for studying astronomy with my children - to point out stars and constellations at night. Photos show the beam at night, and a map of the distance. I ordered a second one today, and suggest you get one -- this is worth a LOT more than $20. The mounting hardware alone could be $100. This is an insane bargain!

I just received this unit today, but it is SO much better than any of the smaller lasers that I tried. The smaller lasers might be ok for pistols, but for a tactical rifle, you need something more substantial... This is the best, easiest to sight in, laser that I have ever used, or even seen. The windage and elevation knobs work flawlessly, unlike the smaller units, where you need to use an allen wrench. You can adjust the laser in seconds, with your fingers... You do not need any special tools... Since I have 2 tactical rifles, after trying this one, I was so impressed, that I ordered a second one for my second rifle... I received the second laser, and it is just as flawless as the first one I ordered... LOL... I like this so much, that I'm thinking about ordering one for my 30-06... Hahaha... I DO love this laser... And, because it uses the CR-123A batteries, I decided to purchase a pack of rechargeable batteries, so that I will always have a fully charged battery for all of my lasers... :D

At night, you see a clear, strong green line. You can easily point out stars, satellites, etc. My photo shows the pointer aimed at Mars. I held the pointer next to my cell phone to take the photo; it's much brighter with your eyes.

This is strongest and brightest lasers around I have tried, Great packaging and accessories. Rechargeable battery would be nice, but you can’t complain at this price and it is plenty strong to maintain the brightness, In fact I like the laser that much I purchased three of them for me and my friend. Beside brightness another good point is that the power button on laser holding really well recoil of the of the AR type rifle. Many similar type of lasers in this price range would suffer problem with power switch that shuts down after every shot. One important point for future buyers. The laser constructed very well and very sturdy, but may suffer from problem with laser element moving forward after the recoil of regular (non-air soft) rifle and loosing contact with the battery. You may think that laser failed, but simple rubber washer of appropriate thickness installed in front of laser element will hold it place. This simple solution will absorb power of power of recoils and hold laser element in place. Not a single issue after. I really recommend this laser. Combination of price, power and quality make it on the best laser on its class and price range.

I had recently lost a laser very similar to this one and it met all my expectations. It works very well. At night if you shine it up,( granted there are no aircrafts) you can see the beam very clearly. It is really cool!

Excellent product. The light is very bright even out to 100 yds. I bought it mainly for star gazing but within minutes had it mounted above the scope on my .22 rifle. Super easy to mount. Easy to adjust. Zeroed laser to match the scope at 50 ft as most night varmint shots wouldn't be any further than that. Also mounted it to top rail of wife's Ruger. Works perfectly. Finally, mounted it to lower rail of my Glock. It sits too far back to access the on/off switch without trading out with the push button remote switch, which is not a constant on. So minus 0.01 points for not fitting the Glock in a useful fashion. But since that isn't what I bought it for, so what? Buying a second one now so I can leave one on the .22 and still have one available for star gazing. Wife still hasn't decided she wants the extra weight on her Ruger but if she wants one I'll definitely buy a 3rd one. Really like how simple it was to mount this thing on just about anything.

First, I did not buy this for a gun site. I got it because I needed a low power laser for setting up prototype optical systems. At 532 nm 5mw is easily visible during the daylight, and dazzling bright at night. For optical experiments it is the perfect amount of power, for a gun site it is bright and visible on shaded areas during the day. Remember approximately 3mw of sunlight enters your eye as diffuse radiation. 5mw is nearly nearly double that, and it is coherent radiation. We do not look at the sun because our pupil magnifies the optical density on our pupil approximately 100,000x. Needless to say, the laser is dangerous to your eye\s if viewed directly. Quality The quality of the machining and anodizing of the aluminum is exceptional. To buy similar machined optical parts would cost hundreds from optical companies. I'd go so far as to say it's aerospace quality. The laser has extremely low divergence and a very round gaussian beam. I was not expecting this from a $20- consumer laser product. The X and Y adjustments are very precise and offer notched indexing that keeps the adjustment firmly in place. What I really like is that it can be switched on without a momentary switch as found on laser pointers, and this product is less expensive then so called -high end laser pointers. If one wishes to have a momentary switch it includes a coiled cable with a remote switch, presumably so a marksman can easily turn it on or off in whichever position they prefer on the gun stock. Highly recommended for science experiments and rifle enthusiasts.

This is a great laser sight at a good price for a blowgun. The sight is light weight, and easy to install, though it does require a mounting rail sized for the particular caliber of the blowgun being used. The mounting accessory that come in the box fits rifle barrels and requires adapting to barrel diameter to work. It’s easier to order the blowgun mounting accessory when ordering the laser sight. Make sure to check the wall size of the blowgun before ordering the mounting as the mounting rails are sized differently according to the caliber of the blowgun.

This is an excellent laser that seems quite sturdy. Whether you choose to mount it to a weapon or use as a handheld device, this laser should serve you well. I am an arborist, I use the laser to easily point out specific branches on trees. The dot is visible during the day for a great distance in most weather conditions. Better on cloudy days, harder to see in bright sun. The button has a nice detent, clicks well. My only criticism is that the button protrudes over the back of the housing, potentially allowing it to be activated while pocketed. An added layer of safety would've been nice here, but since it's meant for a gun I can't really complain. This laser seems to be the best value for an inexpensive green laser. It probably uses the same diode as the cheaper varieties that can be found on Amazon, but unlike those other clones this item also comes with a sturdy housing. I suspect it will outlast the cheaper alternatives because of this.
