Looks great & easy set up

After using a star shape burner for several years and being very unhappy with it, I decided to either replace my fire pit entirely or fix the one I had. I thought I would give the Stanbroil 18" round burner a try based on favorable rumors and a web search related to matching burner with gas regulator. I am totally, completely satisfied with the Stanbroil product. The installation was very easy and the flame is twice as high as the previous burner I used. One suggestion though, depending on your set up, you may need to purchase 1/2" O.D. flare x 1/2" MIP gas connector to hook up with the gas pipe input on the base of the fire pit. These are around $3-4 available at most hardware stores . Again, this depends on your existing hookup and may not be necessary. Good job Stanbroil!

Just the right size for a fake campfire

I was concerned about this burner being to small, I wanted my fire pit to look like a campfire. glad I got this size because the fire comes up in a circle inside the tepee of artificial logs, and then escapes around them and looks like a real fire. I think if I had gotten a bigger ring like 18" the flames would have come up outside the logs and looked strange.

Great price, works great

Great price, works great. Good quality. I am using a propane tank for now in addition to a BBQ regulator and valve control. Burner provides a nice even distribution to all holes. Cant beat the price!

Working perfectly

Installed and working perfectly. Previous burner was around 20" and had plenty of room so I purchased this ring. Placed with hole on topside as placing downward flames were not flowing enough for us. Purchased a cover for fire pit to help longevity of the burner as it will be outside in the elements and last burner (unknown brand) rusted completely out.

Great simple design

Worked great for the fire pit we built on the back patio. The design allows you to attach it to the main line with either the holes face up or down based on your needs. Ours is tied to a 1/2 inch gas line and it puts out more flame than we want with the line completely open so we just throttle back the valve a bit.
