Out of the box, it didn't work at all for a 2003 Lincoln Navigator. I had to buy additional adapters "OrionMotorTech Adjustable R134A Adapter Fittings Quick Coupler High Low" and "Mountain 8401 Top Style Metal Can Tap". It now works perfectly.

My evaporator core sprung a leak and after getting a couple of quotes, I decided a DIY fix was in order. This manifold gauge set wasn't my first choice, the other was sold out, but in hindsight this set has 1 ft longer hoses which made the AC work much easier. I had no trouble putting it together or hooking it up, the high side slid right on without any struggle. Seals were all good and I was able to successfully vacuum test my work for 12 hours without any leakage in the system or the gauges/hoses. Recharging the system was a breeze with the can tap adapter (not included!) and I felt much better doing the recharge with the gauges versus the prior work I've done with a single low side can tap and gauge. The high side connector did indeed stick after running the system for 30 minutes while I recharged the system and the root cause is very clearly thermal expansion. If I hook up the system when the system and car are cool, it pops right off without issue. Once the car and the system heat up, the connector and hoses heat up and then it becomes more difficult. In my case, I waited 5 minutes and the quick connect released without much fuss. I'm sure there is an engineering solution to this problem, but for the price I'm ok with waiting a few minutes. It gave me an excuse to have a beer and celebrate a successful AC repair!

Before i brought this manifold, i saw a lot reviews regarding high pressure hard to remove after use. After much research, i realise almost all gauges is the same on high pressure. After the item arrived, i used it on my odyssey and everything works well without any leak or abnormally. After use, i leave the hoses on the car for abt 10mins. After the high pressure have gone down, the removal was easy as the low pressure side. If anyone need a manifold, this is the one to get!

To all the people complaining that the High Side is Stuck and won't come off.... Remember that there is over 200 lbs pressure on fitting. If you shut the car off, wait 15 minutes for the High Side to bleed down, the fitting comes right off. Just putting this out there......

These a/c gauges are your standard a/c gauges which is just fine but you will need to buy an adapter for the yellow hose! It on Amazon also (the part # is fjc6015). It has a flared end NOT a straight end. If you buy this part you will be satisfied. Pay attention if you are in California your awesome government won’t let you buy this part! Pretty stupid any I’m not in California. Anyway I have included pictures so you can clearly see what I bought to That works

I did a test run on these gauges and the set gave me pressure reading. The high side connector you have to put some pressure on it to connect to the car AC fitting but I am happy with the purchase. I am a retired vech. tech.

Back many moons ago I did residential A/C and used Yellow Jacket gauges. I gave them to my son for his work and have not needed gauges until now, to work on my old car's a/c. This set of manifold gauges are just as good for a lot less money. Granted, I will use them only occasionally, not everyday. I have always hated short hoses, and this set comes with 5 foot hoses, just what I like. There is no problem with leakage, they seal fine. The high side adapter is difficult to remove unless I shut off car and wait for the pressures to equalize, which means I am fighting less pressure on the high side. My high side port is not easy to get hold of because of its location and by waiting for the pressure to decrease I can push down on the fitting enough to lift the collar. That is an adapter thing, not the gauges, which work great. Yes I would recommend these gauges to a friend.

Like others have stated the adapter that's provided does not work for the T-can fittings you buy in the store. The threads do not lineup. Youre dead in your tracks. So they need to be more clear that the adapter provided Will not work. The second surprise was the gauges are in Celsius and not Fahrenheit, not a showstopper but a surprise nonetheless. Perhaps I did not realize it when I ordered it so make sure you order the right type you need. Mfg contacted me regarding my two complaints: I needed the Celsius version was my fault as it is stated in the product description- just be sure you see it. As for the adapter to fit a T-fitting on gas can, it does not come with the product rather the product is configured as std 134a threading. T-fittings for those 12 ounce gas cans commonly sold in automotive stores are different For this inconvenience, the mfg gave me a partial refund without asking for it. This company stands behind their product and customer. Additionally, I've been using the gauges for several days now under constant pressure and very happy with the product. Unlike other gauges I purchased in the past from HarborFreight (junk that leaked), these are performing perfecting. Changing my rating from 3 to 5

Great set for the price, yes it's made in China but well-made with quality brass fittings. Would be nice if they'd include paper instructions (rather than just online link). Did my own recharge and already saved me a $100/hr visit to the dealership.

This worked great for me. I had no problems using it to recharge my truck. I recommend taking it to a shop if possible, but this did save me a lot of money since I knew what the issue was.
