Used at office

I have this at my office so only use it occasionally. It is primarily used by children and it has been easy for them to work the remote as well as have the voice response to buttons, such as when you hit the power button it says "turning off". Color and sound are good, response to remote is somewhat slow but over all a good little TV/DVD combo.

Bought this TV for our workout room and am very happy with it. The clarity of the picture is fantastic and the colors are great. I specifically was looking for a TV DVD combo to fit on top of a desk hutch and found the selection was limited. This TV fits my needs perfectly and was very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend it.

Great Buy

For the money, this is one of the best buys in a TV. I had bought the 19" with the DVD, and was so pleased with it that I bout the 24" with DVD. The picture is great. The sound is OK, and is actually better than the more well known brand I replaced.

Sceptre 24" LED TV/ DVD HDTV combo

Works very well in my RV. Haven't had or used long enough to determine longevity but have two other larger Sceptre TV's in our home that have performed well and trouble free so far. Picture is very clear on DVDs. Sound as expected is very tinny and is normal due to the thin tiny speakers placed in most all thin flat LED TV's. Has audio/speaker jack for external sound if you'd prefer but not that big of a problem for us.

Pretty good little TV, clear picture and sound and works very well as a guestroom TV.

great tv/dvd

This is a great tv/dvd combo. You might think the 24" screen is a bit small, but I have it on my office desk. A nice feature about the dvd player is that it has memory and resumes were you left after stopping the dvd or turning the tv off. Here's a tip I discovered with this tv. You can hook it up to a laptop with an hdmi cable. This gives you an extra large screen to view. On the laptop all you have to do is set project to duplicate. You will still see the laptop screen, and the sound will come out of the tv where you can easily control it with the tv's remote. I highly recommend this tv/dvd combo.

Love this Combo

Awesome tv for my daughter's room. Great color quality. Easy to use. Child friendly. Shipped quickly easy to assemble. But the stand is flimsy or either the screws are too short. Other than that I'm pleased with my purchase.

TV for my Great Grandson

The TV is great, much better than I thought. The TV works even though it sat all day in the rain.

Great TV - and for this price - get two :-)

Amazing - This thing is so light that I thought the box was empty when I got it. That makes difference so I can throw it up on a wall and not worry about it pulling the screws out of the bracket. Picture is great, and the speakers are actually usable! Who knew?? Great TV - and for this price - get two :-)

Great TV

Absolutely love this TV. Great picture. Despite some negative reviews on the sound, I thought it was fine, it is only a 24" TV after all. Didn't have any parental control issues as was also noted in reviews. If it's a new TV and you didn't activate the control, there should be no issue. After being very pleased with the Sceptre brand, I didn't hesitate when I got a great deal on a Sceptre 55" 4k TV. Oh yeah, I really love that one.
