I have just use this one time but the magnet was very strong. Actually there are four magnets I will include a picture of wristband way I left it. I mostly use it screws but I was installing light fixtures and these are the heavier screws that go to the junction box. I had another one that I gave to one of my maintenance man and I'm happy with this one.

Best band ever!!

The magnet is strong enough to hold 6 large bolts for a Harley and every small screw needed to hang pictures without having any of the screws or bolts fall off. It's Velcro band is great for fitting your wrist or fitting on the frame of the Harley when you can't wear it on your wrist. Best band ever for the many needs of any bike or home owner or even a handyman! I even ordered extra bands for gifts!!

Good Purchase

I got tired of fishing in my tool belt for bits for my impact driver. This was especially so when hanging sheetrock recently when I needed to interchange the sheetrock screw setter, regular #2 phillips and a T-25 for screwing nailers in place. This little device got some strange looks from my workmates but it sure keeps me from getting my fingers all nicked up from fishing for bits amongst screws, nails and whatever else is in the bottom of that tool belt (where bits invariably end up). Plus it makes the work go faster when I just pluck the needed bit off my wrist and keep on going. I can also use this to hold small fasteners while doing other jobs. Strong magnets held the bits just fine ... did not loose a one. Good purchase.

Better than i thought.

First time using something like this. Did about a days with of home work. Knew I needed something durable, easy to use, but with strong magnets. Bam!! Got it on the first try. Larger than I thought, took up more of my arm than I was expecting, but works very well and as needed. The most important part. The magnets will hold my quick release screwdriver bits, on the black sections of the band while holding randon other screws on the orange parts on the band all at the time. To push me and the wristbands luck, I climbed into and THEN crawled around an attic for 30 mins. One of my screw driver bits was knocked around but didn't fall off the magnets. While the random screws didnt budge. At least we know now it can be done! From now on I can switch from Philips to flat head in 4 seconds or grab one of the many screws on my wrist and get busy.

convenient "extra hand"

I reviewed several different of these before purchasing this brand. I like the fact that the magnets surround most of the band. The material and the band itself is not too thick and bulky, while still seeming pretty well made. It is easy to put on and take off and securely holds a fairly good amount of fasteners within easy reach. I haven't tried it for holding tools, but I really don't think that is the intent. I would recommend this product - in fact I will probably buy another to have one in the garage and one in my traveling toolbox.

It's still a lot better than holding them in your free hand or mouth

I can't believe I didn't come up with this idea years ago, and I don't know why I didn't buy it a lot sooner. If your tired of holding nails and screws in your left hand or in your mouth while you try to drill in a nail, spend $10 and you'll never do it again. I've used this item several times and it just makes working with nails a lot easier. I'll say that this will hold around 15 to 25 nails at a time really well, but anymore, and they'll start to fall off. It's still a lot better than holding them in your free hand or mouth.

This product is a time saver. It makes the job go down so much easier when doing all the little honey do jobs my wife has layed out for me to take care of on my days off. I always seem to miss place that screw, nut, or bolt, etc. now I always have all of the above when needed thanks to this magnetic wristband.

This was a gift. I haven't heard from the man I gave it to, so I don't know if he liked it. No one bothers with a thank you any more. I thought it was a handy idea, having screws and nails adhere to one's wrist while hanging pictures, working up a ladder on a project, etc. So much better than dropping the screw/nail and having to climb down and search for it. So, 5 stars from me! I think I'll order one for myself.

This think is pretty cool! Its got enough magnetic strength to hold a large pair of vice grips on my wrist.. I really like it when I am working on things such as an area that requires me to change sockets or use some wood screws, or nuts and bolts; It keeps everything handy and where I can get to it quickly. I may have to give these as gifts to my father and brother who also do a lot of tinkering on things.

This was a gift for my husband and he was thrilled with it. He had seen others in stores that were very heavy and bulky and was happy that this was not bulky and was lightweight. The magnet is very strong and holds a good number of screws and nails . It was a perfect gift for someone who gets tired of holding screws in their mouth or pocket, only to drop them. I found the size is also great for me because today I used it to hold nails as I was hanging up pictures. Great product!
