The backpack is nice and big and perfect for carry-on on planes
I give this backpack five stars so far. Had it for a while now and have had no problems with durability. The backpack is nice and big and perfect for carry-on on planes, which is the main reason I bought it. I have been able to fit all my belongings in it for a 3 day trip so I did not have to check a bag. The compartments are nice and large, has a padded area for a laptop, and the straps are comfortable. Because I travel with it, I like the security of being able to strap the bag around my front and click it shut to not have to worry about someone trying to pull it off me. For the price of this bag, it is so worth it. I loved it so much, I actually bought another one for my husband for when we travel together!

Well Worth the Price
We just got back from 2 weeks in Italy - this is the only piece of 'luggage' that I brought - my son brought this too. We had to hike up a significant distance to one of our overnights. This is by no means a fitted, hikers backpack - but it was VERY comfortable for what we used it for - hauling 20 pounds of our daily 'stuff' - clothing, toiletries, guidebooks, cameras, etc.... I am 5'4" and 120 lbs and my son is 6'1" and 180 lbs and the pack did fine for both of us. A little big for me but not too much and a little small for him but not too much - the size issues did not result in discomfort even when fully loaded. The pack is extremely lightweight and at first I thought it might not make it two weeks with the abuse we would be giving it. I figured it would essentially be a 'disposable' pack. But honestly it held up great and I will be keeping it and using it again for sure. The waterproof cover is a luxury not to be expected in a pack this price. I would absolutely buy this pack again.

Awesome Backpack
What an awesome backpack! Packed this for DisneyWorld and it met and exceeded all my expectations and more! Having the waterproof cover is a plus for the rain and wet rides! This backpack has more pockets, belts, and ties than you will ever need. It is very well organized. The sides for two water bottles are perfect. The shoulder straps are perfectly padded and balanced. I am 55 years young and did carry a pretty good load. I purchased two. My granddaughter is 15. She also carried a load in hers also. The fabric is perfect and lightweight that makes great for any backpacking hiking day or overnight.

Great Value
Okay so you're going camping for a few days, maybe do a bit of hiking. Well if you need something comfortable, a bit roomy and pretty good quality for that trip let me recommend this pack. I am a woman and finding something that sits well on my back without rubbing in the wrong places can be a bit trying at times. This pack sits well on my small frame, I'm 5 ft, 130 lbs. And it can hold a lot of stuff in a very organized manner making it easy to get into without having to unpack everything. I love the color, orange with gray accent. The straps are very comfortable and even with the added weight of your gear doesn't cut into you. I loaded up a sleeping bag, tent, self inflating mat off the rear of the pack letting it dangle behind me and then piled in my clothes and personal items inside. It worked very well for me and I highly recommend you to give it a try. Great buy for the price.

Nice Travel bag/light hiking.
Using for extended (3 month) travel trip to include the Camino de Santiago. Just started and nice to have both hands free. I was able to fit 9 days of clothing, laptop, and all toiletries, phone accessories, etc. 27 pounds all in. No questions about carry on board yet. Seems well made. Seems better for traveling than for serious outdoor because it doesn't have top fill with flap that I am used to that can carry more stuff although it has outside straps and clips that would work for more serious backpacking. Note that the hip belt seems too high in me (I am tall) even with shoulder straps at full extension. So would not suggest for serious heavy back packing. Seems about right for my trip.

Excellent for an emergency / bug out bag
I needed to prepare emergency bag for hurricane season. I decided on this one based upon the reviews, size, and color. I wanted to make sure I had something bright enough that I could easily locate it even in dim or dark lighting, and would immediately know it was mine. Kind of like NOT buying black suitcases because everyone at the airport has a black suitcase. This is well made, and I like having waist and chest straps. It holds a ton, and I felt prepared to easily find whatever I needed whether I used it sheltering in place or as a bug out bag. This easily held: first aid kit (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01G45DWOK/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_62) stormproof matches (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06ZZJHCDC/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_11) emergency radio (https://www.amazon.com/Esky-Weather-Powered-Emergency-Flashlight/dp/B01GRJZ1LK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1508696645&sr=8-1&keywords=sky+solar+radio) multipurpose tool (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071WRMYR3/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_2) disposable washcloths (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071NZG9H9/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_9) container for washcloths (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CPTXF24/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_33) firestarter/whistle (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B016UWWS2O/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_60) whistles (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06ZZJHCDC/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_11) water purification tablets (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001949TKS/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_64) food and water for me and the cat a couple changes of clothes, and a waterproof jacket two laptops, two iPads and a phone, plus chargers etc I am very pleased with it.

Perfect Travel Pack - Perfect Price Point
I purchased this backpack for a 2 week trip to Europe. As a woman, I typically overpack, and am short on space. Knowing that I only had one pack, I did pack lighter, but this bag held everything that I needed comfortably, offering many different pockets and pouches, along with appropriate straps to secure the bag while on foot. There are 4 places to legitimately pack clothes and shoes, along with a number of zippered pockets. I was able to pack approx 12 shirts, 4 pants, 3 shoes, cosmetics, undergarments, and my iPad. I am 5'3", weigh 110lbs, and the pack was very comfortable to carry. Weight distribution seemed to be on point. I have used it for two trips since going to Europe, and it has yet to rip or fall apart. Good quality. Great space and storage options. Definitely a great price point. A bag like this would typically set you back about $100-$150, but I paid $40 on Amazon - Excellent purchase! Would recommend for a weekend trip, or backpacking adventure!

Backpack exceeded expectations based on price.
Just finished a two month backpack of Europe with this and it's in excellent condition. No rips or tears. The waist belt and the straps extend pretty wide. My hips measure 47" and the straps still had plenty of extra. The chest strap moves up and down so it adjusts for different heights well. I'm 5'8 and the shoulder straps maybe had 4 more inches left after adjustment. The cover was GREAT! Simple to pop over the whole thing if it's rainy while wearing it everything in the pack stays perfectly dry. The only note I would have is the waist belt pockets are not big enough to fit a passport. Like just 1/2" wider and they would have been ideal.

Couldn't be happier with our purchases
My boyfriend and I each brought one of these backpacks as our only luggage for a month-long trip in Europe. Couldn't be happier with our purchases! Not only were we able to neatly fit three pairs of shoes and several changes of clothes, there was plenty of room for books and small gifts we picked up along the way. Survived pouring rains in France and Italy, and several buses, planes, cabs, and boats. Well-built with lots of easy-access pockets for passport, keys, phone, wallet, and I love how you are able to adjust the straps to wrap a jacket or picnic blanket at the bottom or top of the bag. Really a versatile piece of luggage that I will always cherish and continue to use!

Amazing over seas pack , carried right on !
On the plane to Tokyo as we speak ,got through dia and lax carrying this bad boy on packed pretty tight . I plan on using this for going around Tokyo for a few weeks which will consist of some backpacking though Nikko. So far I am astounded on how high quality and efficient this pack was made . I will edit this review if it breaks down or anything bad , but all smiles so far !! Great waist belt , the chest clips are flexible material too so really gives a nice feel. The back frame really holds up nice but dont over pack or it gets weird . If you want an amazing pack that you can carry on overseas ,this is the one!! It meets USA and Overseas carry on and there was a reallly small connecting plane . Buy away without fear !
