These worked great on my 1999 Chevy Tahoe, 4WD and 196,000 miles. Parts "popped" apart easily, and the tool is well made.

This kit handled breaking loose the ball joints on a '92 D250 with a 4k axle quite handily. I used the pitman arm puller for the top ball joints, and the long armed ball joint puller for the lower ball joints. I applied pressure with the puller, and a few sharp raps with a 4lb hammer popped the joints loose. As far as I know these were the original ball joints. I'm very happy with this kit. I have no doubt it will handle the remaining joints in the steering linkage when I get to them.

Super convenient and good quality

These ball joint separators helped tremendously on a front end job I am working on. They are just as described and I dont think I could have done the job without them. I will definitely recommend to anyone needing to work on front ends.

I see a lot of reviews on here saying they are not tough enough i want to disagree. This thing managed to mushroom the end of the ball joint before the ball joint broke loose . i was using a 4 ft cheater bar to run it and it held up. I'm very happy with my purchase.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR FRONT END WORK// GOOD PRICE/GOOD TOOLS /GETS THE JOB DONE

I had an issue with one of the ball joint remove and the sender to care of it immediately. Study product.

have used the pitman arm puller and ball joint separator successfully

What I like is the fact that I had to buy one of the tools in the pack for $60 and got the whole thing with all of the tools for less only bought the one cuz I couldn’t wait needed that day my bad for not buying before I needed

Tool did the job. I had to tighten the ball joint puller to the point that I was beginning to have trouble turning it even with my 24” breaker bar, but the puller held true without breaking. I eventually had to hammer a punch into he ball joint to send vibrations through and eventually the part was shaken free and flew out with a loud bang. It was under an insane amount of pressure and force, probably a few tons, and the puller is still in perfect shape. The blow molded case is very nice as well, although I don’t like when cases have plastic henges. This henge design by nature wears out and breaks with cyclic deformation, so only open and clothes the case as needed because you’ll probably only have 2 or 3 hundred open clothes cycles before the henge gives.
