Worth every penny
Awesome product for the price. I used this to study for my medical school anatomy practical. Not all the structures we covered were listed, but I added them easily with a Sharpie pen. Now it makes a nice decoration on my bookshelf and keeps me company while I study for the USMLE Step 1.

Alas, poor Yorick
Bought this as a stage prop in a production of Young Frankenstein. Will also be used for teaching Hamlet. It’s a realistic and life size skull. It does have lots of numbers for anatomical identifications, but this could be painted over I bet.

better than expected
exactly what advertised. it was a better quality than the pic shows. very strong material, not flimsy, numbered. feels solid, has some weight to it. received it well packaged, on on time.

I have used similar skulls in my anatomy class lab ...
I have used similar skulls in my anatomy class lab before that were far more money but within a semester the numbers got smudged to the point where they are no longer legible. Considering the low cost of these I gave it a shot and ordered some more. They are fabulous- durable and comprehensive for basic anatomy of the face and cranial bones. A word of advice. As soon as you get it/them, use a little clear nail polish and dab (do not brush) over each of the numbers so that they do not smudge over time. I cannot wait to use these in lab this Spring!

I know the skull by heart now
I tried to follow some recommendations that someone left here to put clear nail polish on the numbers as soon as i saw that they were fading away and it made it worse but now I know the skull by heart. Would definitely purchase again.

Saved my tail on an anatomy lab practical!
Great for college anatomy students! Very detailed and accurate for the price. And when the class is over, I'll have a skull on my mantel just like Sherlock Holmes!

Awesome and affordable!
So awesome and affordable. Some little details on the skull are missing such as some smaller foramen, but for the price it cannot be beat! I also love how it is a labelled skull.

Great Product!
This is a well made skull that appears to be realistic in size and weight. My figurative sculpture students were each provided one to help them learn the anatomy of the skull. It is exactly the same as the VAL207-A skull also sold by Vision Scientific. The only difference is that it has the numbering. I would absolutely purchase again.

Purchased for an Anatomy course
I ordered this for my anatomy class, and so far I LOVE it! It comes numbered and there's a laminated card that tells what each numbered piece is. The top of the skull does come off, which is a requirement for my course. It feels very sturdy, it is a strong plastic that I would imagine would hold up very well for a very long time.
