Great value 16 or 18 gauge connectors
Fit, form and function is as expected. Wire gauge is either 16 or 18 gauge made with copper stranded wire. I determined this with my wire strippers. No wire size provided on wire. Got to love these imports. Copper stranded wire solders together well. I have been surprised by wiring harnesses I have bought on AMAZON that use aluminum stranded wire which is all but impossible to solder. Connectors (male and female) are robust. They are a pin (not blade) into a socket connector. I squeezed in a dab of dielectric grease to minimize oxidation and facilitate disconnecting at a future time. I would recommend to everyone to do the same if in a high humidity environment.

Really handy to have some of these around.
Perfect for those little automotive wiring projects that you're not 100% sure that you want to make permanent. Strong latch, plastic seems flexible, and not brittle. Weatherproofing/Waterproofing doesnt seem very tight, but does seem to effectively seal the connector. I soak tested one set and after an hour at the bottom of a 5gal bucket, the inside of the connector/end of the plug was still dry as a bone. Not sure if I'd use it in a permanently underwater situation, but should be fine for automotive lighting that might get rained on.

Quality light-use connectors
Good quality. Connector halves fit together tightly. Have not tested water resistance, but I believe they'll be adequate for anything other than harsh conditions. Connectors rely on friction and plastic tension to stay together, so I would probably not use them in applications that require repeated connection & disconnection due to material fatigue after numerous connections. Great for staying connected with occasional separation.

Quick fix for connecting things in my canopy
I've only used two of these connectors so far but they work great. I used them on my canopy for connecting the third brake light and the bed lights i have installed under the rail. I wanted a waterproof connector that i could disconnect in the event i had to remove my canopy. I read other reviews that said the wire size was much smaller then listed but these look like 16 gauge stranded wire to me. I like the quality and will update my review if i get any that don't work in the future. As of now, i would recommend these.

Good connectors
Added Quick Disconnect to my smoke machine & added a air shut off valve used two of these for this project. Projects are always coming up so the rest will be used later on for something

Quality item that does what it's supposed to.
So far so good. Only had the product for a couple of weeks. Can't say much about the durability or water proofness, but they snap together tightly and are solidly made. Packaged in resealable bag so unused one stay clean and organized.

Great HD Connectors
Used these for in-line disconnects ( service points ) throughout my Nissan pickup for new LED lighting bars ( 5 bars total plus an aux transmission cooling fan ). Was hesitant on the quality of Chinese electrical parts at first, but these are very well made, water tight, fit together properly and tightly and don't fall apart in your hand when connected and disconnected multiple times. Wire is true gauge size as listed and appears to be pure copper, not copper tinned over aluminium base. Recommend 100%.

Excellent for 12VDC automotive applications. Please know your amperage to use safely.
These solid little connectors are very easy to use, and provide both electrical and mechanical functionality. An excellent choice for any application within the amperage limits of 16AWG wire. To see an example of how they are used in a mobile, stand-alone PV power system, please follow link below. Also, the seller: MUYI Shop was great. This was actually my second purchase of these little gems from this seller, and both orders were packaged and delivered without issues. Thank you, MUYI Shop! https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R3UURUP1VEHPSG?ref=pf_vv_at_pdctrvw_srp

No expensive crimper needed.
Fast delivery of a good product. I needed waterproof connectors for my sailboat, to fast connect my outboard to the battery and for some lighting, and these are working well. I am in a fresh water slip so salt fog is not a problem. So far, so good. I appreciate the pre-assembly of the connector as I do not have the expensive crimper to make the assembly myself. I merely needed to solder and heat shrink the wires together.

What is the Wire Gauge of this product? See actual photos from a real MN customer eh....
Hello Fellow Amazon Customer, What the heck is the wire gauge (AWG) on this product's connectors? Well.... for the possible answer to this baffling question - please see the photos below I took just for YOU :-) Probably - just like you - it really drives me CRAZY when sellers don't put "simple" product specification in their listing. Well... after my first attempt (using 12V wires) ended in MELTING my initial purchase of some cheap (i.e. low cost) 12V connectors with small AWG wires - that also had no product details in the listing regarding the wire's AWG (ASINs B01LX51QHN and B01M0EAR9N) Obviously - (after the smoke cleared and the fire department left - jk) - I concluded that "I need a set of connectors with larger stranded wire AWG". So... On with the FACTS and more BS... OK - I am trying to power Multiple 12V LED automotive light bars (very bright and low amps) - from a rock solid dual 12V block (ASIN B00CRGUH30) PLEASE NOTE: I am NOT an expert electronics dude and really don't know much about AWG (and obviously neither do most of these reviewers or people who answer questions). However, as you can see in the provided awesome photos (shot on my iPhone 7+, which has no headphone jack... WTH) - I own a fancy and overpriced, Snap-on Blue Point wire cutter/crimper (Made in da USA)... and I am pretty sure that this Snap-on tool's AWG cutting gauge - is correct. Although I have not installed these connectors yet (had to wash the cats again)... I wanted to make sure YOU were able to make the proper decision and product selection - based on actual photos from actual MN customer (i.e. I am not friends nor an employee of this seller or live in China). HERE IS MY WIRE KEY for the PHOTO: WIRE A = ASINs B01LX51QHN and B01M0EAR9N, which stripped clean in the 20-22 AWG slot (bought 2 sets of each... ugh...) WIRE 16 = ASIN B00O72R7Z8 - a very nice LED dual light - wiring harness that stated "16 AWG wire" - stripped clean in the 16/16 AWG slot WIRE B = This Product (ASIN B01A6LTK44), which stripped clean in the 16/14 AWG slot (Special Note: I did try the 16/16 slot and I cut/pulled 2-3 strands of wire... Thus I would conclude that this product wire AWG is closer to 14 AWG. WIRE 18 = A spool of 18 AWG wire I bought at the local Menards (i.e. a giant hardware store) SPECIAL NOTE: The red and black wires are the same AWG on the 2 pin products (I knew some dork would ask this question - so I answered it) OK... Now... Can you help me by doing this FAST and SIMPLE favor? If my detailed and exciting review helped YOU make a better decision and made your day even more awesomer :-) Please take a split second out of your busy day (not working or sitting on the porcelain chair) and "CLICK ON" the YES or HELPFUL button down below! The YES or HELPFUL BUTTON is right after the question... "Was this review helpful to you" (click the YES or HELPFUL button) Have a great day eh! Kent Reed - Founder of FastpitchPros P.S. YOU are the BEST - no matter what anyone says behind your back...
