I am trying to learn to play the piano. I got this keyboard for that purpose only. The keys feel good and responsive, and the notes sound in tune. I don't use any other features so I have no comment on them. So far this keyboard has met my expectations with one exception. When you turn the keyboard on the volume is always at max and you have to lower it with the volume button. I would have thought it would have worked the other way (come on low and then raise as wanted). The package came with everything that it was supposed to. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase.

I got this keyboard mainly for practicing vocals. I don't have a lot of interest in many of its features, but they are fun to play around with . The grand piano mode is lovely (default tone) and the keys feel very close to an actual piano. It is larger than I expected. Happy it will play complex chords. The music stand will only hold a lightweight music book or sheet music , but that is not really a problem for me as I have other music stands. I would recommend it for people wanting to learn to play a keyboard or those who need a practice keyboard.

I purchased this after researching many keyboard pianos for my 13 year old daughter. She loves it. Description included a microphone, but it did not arrive with one. The company was quick to reply and send out the mic.

We are new into having grandkids (3-1/2, 2 and 6 mos.). They love to come and play on our small Roland piano and so wanted to continue to allow music learning to happen, but give them a keyboard that could be moved to other rooms when they wanted to play and others were around and didn't prefer them playing (i.e. close to TV, etc). The Plixio is light, portable and easy to carry to any area. The different sound abilities and easy to use keys makes it perfect. Plus the 1 year warranty was a plus when purchasing. Can't wait to surprise them with it this weekend! Thanks!

Great Product and a great value, my 16 yr old son LOVES his birthday present. I considered many before settling on this one because for the price range I was willing to spend this one had the most options and was the only one with USB capability. It's also larger than I expected, he's going to need a bigger desk in his room or a stand for it.

The keyboard isn't heavy at all. The sound is great with the speakers in the keyboard. I honestly have no complaints. The keyboard does come with a power-cord (it is well hidden in the Styrofoam) as well as a small microphone with its own port in the back, if you want a higher quality microphone, the one that came with it can just be unplugged and replaced. The buttons are easy to understand, and if you don't understand you can read the informational booklet. but overall the keyboard is pretty self explanatory, and the buttons are all labeled so even if you have trouble with the instructions, you should not have a problem working it. The attached music stand is great and stays in place well and could also be removed if you don't like it. Overall, in my opinion the purchase is worth it. I received this item at a discounted price in exchange for an honest review - and i rely on reviews when making a purchase from amazon, or anywhere else Online ( whether i am receiving a discount, or not) - and would never endorse a product I did not like or did not think it deserved it, with that said, if this review helped you, Please Click "Yes" Below. I've had this piano for 10 months now. I wanted to teach myself. I used to play alto sax in concert band so I'm not completely unfamiliar with music. The keys aren't weighted and I barely use the special sound settings but I love that it's an option. For a basic beginner piano, to become familiar with all the notes and practice the hand movements, this is a bang for the buck. I even spray painted it and no I didn't take it apart- with 4 coats- and the thing still works perfects. It's light- I moved with it so it was easy. I usually put the headphone jack on the lowest level because it's very loud. With some earplugs, for whatever reason, it will sound louder or lower than others. Just experiment with different headphones to find which works for you. I love this thing. I should give her a name.

I gave this a 4 star rating on looks, options and functionality. This is a Christmas gift to my children, so I will return to this review once I hear it being used and how my kids respond to it. This keyboard is really sharp looking, everything you need is on it, very streamline, has 61 keys for better performance and all attachments and cords are included in the box. The cords are in the Styrofoam on the ends of the keyboard, so be careful that you don't miss them or they fall out. Keyboard comes packaged extremely well, so no damage is apparent. Update: Almost one year later this keyboard has held up and works perfectly. I have upgraded to 5 stars for the simple fact that you get a great keyboard that does all a base keyboard should do at a phenomenal low price. Nothing has broken whatsoever. It is still in like new condition and gets used a lot.

Keyboard is perfect for what I was looking for. It includes many options that more expensive keyboards have, but as I said less expensive. At 71 years old I wanted something that will allow me to learn at my pace and have fun doing so. There are more options then I will probably use, but anyone who wants to do more can. The addition of allowing you to record as you play lets you listen to how well you are learning. Great buy for anyone of any age.

The manual came with it. Myself, I have not played a keyboard in about 35 years so it's like starting all over. I bought 2 books of beginners music and am working on them. I love the feel and sound of it. I have not tried any of the variations, sounds, or beats that are available. I just want to be able to play some simple songs for now. This is my relaxing time.
