is it pointless to write another review of this product? probably but it really won me over. I am a former ballet and modern dancer and my feet have been severely calloused my whole life. Pedicurists have been appalled by my feet and gone to work on them but they haven't really been able to do anything for me. This product can and does! and you barely feel it working. i love it. (i actually bought this after watching the golden globes and they kept panning from head to toe on these actresses and i thought "i would die if they showed my feet on tv" - it led me to research some solutions and i found this on amazon). Worth every penny.

I need to keep my ankle smooth or the skin cracks, and that hurts. I have tried many methods and devices, and this is what works best for me. I bough one for my mom. It costs half on Amazon what I paid at Walmart. Mother loves it. The batteries hold a good charge. Recharging is easy. The rotating thingies do a good job, last fairly long, and replacements are not expensive when I buy the four pack. I cannot do without this. For extra effectiveness, especially if your problem is severe, use a foot cream intended to soften feet, help with cracked heals, in between use of this devise. This causes a lot more dead skin to come off. But it's not necessary.

This product has change my life -as funny as it may sound!!!! As a mom of 4 kids I am on my feet ALL day long , and my feet take a beating . I thought the horrid-looking heels were here to stay. I would hide my feet , that's how terrible and dry and callused . I tried just about everything ... then this little lovey thing cane along . I WISH I had taken before and after pics . I am amazed . I LOVE LOVE this product cannot say enough good about it . Two thumbs UP... oh ,and beautiful feet too!!! 😊

I love this product. It’s gentle and leaves my heels smooth without any cuts or making them sore. I’m glad I got the wet/dry version. Easy to clean and I can do it. Before or after a shower. I have definitely saved money on pedicures after purchasing this product. I bought the carrying case and took it on trips for touch ups because the sand really roughens my heels quickly. Easily felt smooth again and enjoyed my trips in my flip flops and sandals. I may buy the course roll to make it quicker when they are really rough. Make sure you do it over a trash can or towel. You’ll be amazing by what comes off of your heels.

I consistently use a lava stone in the shower a few times a week. While on an extended trip to Florida, wearing flip flops daily, I was quickly disgusted by small callouses. I quickly ordered this after reading the reviews for both the original pedi and the "wet/dry" pedi. I'm glad I spurged on the more expensive, recharable wet & dry pedi! I hate dealing with batteries and figured being able to use this in the shower would help keep me in my routine. I used this item straight out of the box, love the dual speed options and am amazed by the immediate smoothness! I highly recommend this and am considering buying it as Christmas gifts for others! Stop reading, like my review and purchase this item!!

I have always had very dry skin. In the winter, it gets really bad, especially around my hands, feet, and, weirdly, my shoulders. I put lotion on my whole body twice a day--and that helps a lot--but my heels still crack open and bleed. I try to moisturize and exfoliate them often to remove dead skin and keep them as soft as possible. I've been using Revlon Sugar Sensation Foot File, 1 ea and also a foot pumice that I found at Walgreens (and can't find on Amazon). They both work fine. Honestly, up until I tried this Pedi Perfect, I thought things were as good as they were going to get. Well, apparently there is a whole other level of soft that I wasn't even aware of. I've been using the Pedi tool for just over a week, and I cannot believe how much nicer my feet look and feel. I'm shocked by the difference, and the results get better (though less dramatic) after each use. (FYI, I've debated long and hard about whether to include before and after pics, but--lucky you--I finally decided that I will post a couple pictures of my disgusting feet. I apologize in advance for any trauma this may cause...) The Pedi is basically an easy-to-hold sandpaper roll. (The roll is replaced every 2-3 months with Amopé Pedi Perfect Electronic Pedicure Foot File Refills, 2 Count.) The tool has two settings, and it is surprisingly powerful; I only use the highest setting on the worst parts of my heels. The directions tell you to make sure the unit is completely charged before you use it. In my experience, the Pedi works fine when it isn't completely charged, but that full charge does make the tool more powerful. Using the Pedi isn't painful at all. You aren't supposed to hold it in any one place for longer than three seconds. And, usually, it will get the job done in less time than that. Just a quick roll over the dry area is really all it takes. You can use the Pedi in the shower or out. I've used it both wet and dry. I like using it in the shower, since it isn't as messy. (When you use the Pedi dry, your dry skin will float up everywhere. It's kind of gross. It reminds me of the scene from Dumb and Dumber, when Lloyd gets a pedicure and the aesthetician has to use that big sander tool to remove his callouses.) As long as you don't submerge the Pedi while showering (and why would you?), the water doesn't damage it. It probably goes without saying that you are supposed to keep the included charging dock completely away from water. Overall, I love this Pedi tool. Usually I feel incredibly self-conscious about the roughness of my feet, but I don't anymore. My feet look better than they have in years. I'm still fighting the dryness, but my skin is so soft and smooth now.

This product really does work, but if your feet have deep cracks like mine did (I hate to wear shoes) it will take some time to get your feet looking good. I received my Pedi about 2 weeks ago and used it every 2-4 days. My feet look so much better and are already soft - almost perfect. I do have a few stubborn cracks that were very deep and to a point of bleeding, so I'm not surprised they are taking a little extra time to go away. I give it another week with the Pedi and believe my feet will be crack free. I very happy that I took a chance on this product.

YES! Finally, a foot file that does not leave your feet with sensitive spots! Or rougher than when you started because you grated the skin off! I think it works better dry than wet for me. Unless you start off with feet that resemble unpaved road, when you use this, the dead skin will come off as an airborne powder that you won't even be able to see once it dissipates, at least not on carpet. It eventually settles, but I take care to avoid inhaling the dust and vacuum the area well afterward. My heels really do feel, well...silky, no joke. Tip: Take your time and try not to take too much off at first because a little protective callus is better than getting down to the dermis, believe me. THE ONE CON: The only thing that irks me a little is that it often clicks from the file insert skipping inside its housing. This may be from me using a bit too much pressure, but it's still annoying.

Product works much better than anticipated. I so appreciate when folks make the effort to take pics for their reviews, but didn't occur to me before I used it on my husband. We used to use a Dremel to get the thick, scaly calluses smoothed out (effective, but super dangerous, I know). This works a little slower (translation: safer) but gets the same, if not better result. Already ordered several extra course replacement heads. Buy it - worth every pennuy

Where has this been all my life?? For so many years, my method of exfoliating my feet was to soak them in hot water when I would take a bath/shower, then use some kind of pumice product and my fingernails to get the dead skin off. Very tedious. I hadn't done it in a long time and I had a LOT of dead skin, especially on my heels where it was very thick. I found this on Amazon and decided to try it but I was not particularly hopeful. Needless to say, I was shocked! It took that dead skin right off and within minutes, my feet were as smooth as a baby's bottom. I was also worried about the fact that I have super sensitive skin but it was very gentle and didn't hurt at all. In fact, it tickled a little. :) Definitely recommend!
