My kids loved this! I have 2 boys, ages 4 and 6 and they're constantly looking for bugs in the yard. I got them this and they loved it! It is fairly small, but it works for what I had purchased it for. Will be looking to buy another one in the future so they can each have 1. Would definitely recommend!

This is very cute! It came just as described. I like that it is light in color so that you can still see the bugs in there once you catch them. It is sturdy and well made unlike some other brands we have looked at.

Smaller than expected which turned out perfectly!

Love it! Much smaller than I expected but that turned out to be better for my toddler to carry around anyway. The opening slides open/closed easily enough for my 22 month old to be able to do after practicing the first day. You can hear when the opening is securely closed. We bought a package of plastic bugs and another of lizards as well as the Backyard Bugs book by jill Macdonald to go with this.

Our Booyah Box - A great hit!

What a simple little "toy" for our 2 1/2 year old grandson. He loves collecting bugs (aka "Booyah's") and this box is a big hit with him. At first blush the thing seems a bit flimsy, but the lid snaps shut solidly and the outer screen is relatively tough. Overall, a great little gift for kids interested in collecting bugs.

I have bought into these in both colors for my two children as usual Melissa & Doug puts out a very quality product and my children that are three and six I have no problem opening and closing The Little Door by themselves and it can take a beating and not break have I mentioned my children are both boys if you have boy's you will understand that

This is the perfect bug catcher my boys have been obsessed with catching grasshoppers and this worked great!

This is the second Melissa and Doug bug catcher I have bought for my grandchildren. It's a great quality - much better than another brand I saw at Hobby Lobby for the same price. The screen/netting is very strong and my 2-year old grandson is able to open and close with just a little coaching.

Good for young kids

Purchased he bugs also make my Melissa and Doug. My 3 year old loves collecting his bugs ( or any small toy) in here and plays with it often. Small so just the right size for young children

Perfect for kids who like BUGS

I got this for my 2 year old who loves playing with bugs. The face is somewhat difficult for him to slide over, but he'll get the hang of it as he gets a little older. Would recommend.
