Great sound quality

Using this has upped the production quality of my interviews by 1000% percent. I was using a rode shotgun mic, which is excellent, but this mic has really given a feel of intimacy and richness that was missing before. Great quality. I'm glad I made the purchase.

Some Kind of Unpowered Voodoo Going On, But It Works!

I've previously tried three different lavalier microphones, buy this is the best for the money. I don't understand how it works without a battery, it just does. I've purchased and tried mics from Radio Shack, Audio-Technica, and Shure. All powered, small, condenser mics in the lower price range (under $50 each). Most condenser mics need phantom power either from the recording device or a battery. This one does not. The funny thing is that it was actually louder than my powered Audio-Technica. I don't know what kind of magic is going on there, but it sounds great. In fact, it's so strong and powerful, I think I'll clip it lower on my lapel than the position I previously used the Audio-Technica. At this price point, this is a no-brainer for recording marketing videos or YouTube vlogs (video blogs). Get it. You won't regret it.

It’s worth every penny!!!

I saw a lot of reviews on YouTube over this microphone so I decided to give it a try. I own a rode microphone and have been using it for about two years. I was ready to try something new but did not want to go broke either. After seeing so many reviews I decided to try it. All I have to say is for the price it’s been one of the best investments I could have made. The sound quality is way better than my rode microphone.

BEST BUDGET LAV. BETTER THAN RODE VIDEO MICRO.

This a top notch professional Lav mic. Coming from a video guy with some experience in audio. Be sure to also pick up the deadcat to go with it. It's so good it doesn't need it in light windy conditions, but all wind will go away with the deadcat when things get extra windy.

WATCH OUT FOR THE COUNTERFEIT, REAL ONE WORKED FLAWLESSLY

Bought this mic twice. Once from the counterfeit seller and another from PowerDeWise. When I got the first one, it came in a bag and not a box. Then I tried it and it didn't work in my MacBook. So I sent it back and received a refund. Now it was time to write a negative review. But looking at the website, I purchased a counterfeit (see pictures, even the logo is a poor copy/paste). I purchased this item again, this time knowing it was sold by the PowerDeWise company. Worked perfectly. I did some test trials before uploading my videos. The sound is absolutely clear and so much better than the onboard microphone. It worked flawlessly and the sound is great. So the fake mic didn't work, the clip doesn't rotate, the bag was small for all the stuff needed and it didn't come in a box. The real one worked, the clip rotates, the case is large enough for all the stuff and put in a nice box. The second one was real sold by PowerDeWise and came in the box as illustrated. The sound quality is excellent and captures a bit of the bass in my voice. Crisp and clean. The hardware is sturdy and even the bag is nice. This is a great purchase and makes the sound on the videos outstanding.
