Works Great For My iPad!

Exactly what I was looking for to hold my iPad! I love this thing. I have not wall nor cabinet mounted it and after using it, I probably never will (unless I get another one or two). I've had cervical spine surgery performed on my neck and looking down at my lap to work is a big no-no. This stand holds my iPad very securely, and yes it's a bit of a struggle to get it in place. The floating hinges tighten up nicely with the included tool (I think it's a little star wrench or Allen wrench of some sort) because they will loosen a bit after prolonged use. I just tuck the legs onto my lap and adjust the screen height to no more neck strain. The iPad also adjusts both vertically and horizontally. NOTE: I have an iPad Air2. This stand will.not.work. if you have a cover on your iPad!! You can have a fitted screen protector, but a cover gives just enough additional space that the gripping mechanism simply will not fit over it.

I work out of my library and Starbucks and have found that a laptop is terrible for my posture. I have a Surface Pro 4 so I wanted a stand that could raise the screen a significant height. I also wanted something fairly portable and stylish. After all, I'd be using this at my local hipster Starbucks. This stand appears the least clunky of the ones I looked at. It folds up pretty well. The set up looks _great_, I get comments on it from other customers. I tightened the joints with an allen wrench because it was drooping under the weight of the screen. But in the weeks since it's hasn't loosened at all, so the drooping wasn't a design flaw, it just needed tightening. In fact, it's pretty heavy-duty feeling, even though it looks like it might be tipsy or otherwise. Being able to hang it from under a cabinet with the extra hardware is nice - I don't use it but I suspect if we get another tablet we'd want this same stand in order to install it in our kitchen.

Solid,Secure Stand For My iPad.

Glad I bought this. I had been searching for a stand for my iPad and this looked like the right one. Turns out it is. I wanted a stand I could use while still keeping my iPad in its' protective case and this works great. Holds the case solidly and securely so far. I've only used it as a stand and haven't tried wall mounting it, so I can't speak to that type of use. Stand has. Solid feel to it, and the tablet grip has a secure hold and is adjustable to just about any size tablet.

Mounts in just about any position you can imagine!

Well worth the cost and probably the most useful desktop gadget stand we have ever used. The nice thing about this one is the ability to adjust the lock screws in all the joints. and comes with easy to read instructions, and all 3 allen wrenches for quick and accurate joint adjustments. It's holding a 10.1" Phone tablet with a pretty thick silicone bumper case, and is able to support the weight after adjusting the lock screws. The ability to smoothly rotate the tablet from landscape to the portrait position is also very easy with just one hand. This stand is made of a very high quality marine grade aluminum, so salt water present in the atmosphere in coastal areas will not allow corrosion. One feature I noticed about the mounting cabinet brackets is that they can also be mounted on the bridges table top instead of under a cabinet of our yacht allowing the unit to sit flat and it will securely ride out any storm while at sea, so navigation tools and weather maps can be viewed in real time directly in front of the pilot with out it tipping over! The rubber mount tabs that the tablet locks into on the top and bottom of the mount bracket really secure the tablet because of the way the locking mechanism click locks into two holding stages! This is one tablet stand you will fall in love with the moment you see how well it is made and how versatile it really can be.... No wonder so many people have given it 5 stars and its under $30.00 and being a PRIME member got this unit to us in 2 days with no damage to the factory box it arrived with.

I like this. I haven't used it in the kitchen

I like this. I haven't used it in the kitchen. I use it with my kindle and my mini-ipad. I read a lot and get so tired of either holding the kindle in my lap with my head bent down (neck gets stiff) or holding the kindle up in the air so I can get some relief for my neck (then my arm gets tired).. I arrange this on my lap. I can set the height of the kindle so it is comfortable for me. No neck strain, no arm strain. I don't know how this would work for others, but it works for me. Also, I have set it up on a room divider and it sets there very solidly. It's very well made, quite sturdy. When I arrange it in a one position, it stays there until I change the position. No fears of it tipping over. This was a good deal for me.

You can charge your device and tighten the hinges

I just got this and it's great. I was worried because many reviews said that the hinges became loose, but all you have to do it pop off the plastic coverings and tighten the screws with the included Allen wrenches. Also, there is a hole for charging on the bottom of it. A lot of complaints in the reviews about that, maybe they had an older model? A bit annoying to mount and you need good clearance to insert and remove, but it's exactly what I wanted so i can watch my shows while cooking, and my husband is going to put the second mount on the work bench for YouTube videos. Very cool product.

Going to Buy Another One as a Gift

This has been the most used device for my iPad Air 2. It perfectly holds my tablet (iPad Air 2 9.7”) in its case and I can rotate it any direction I want. I also like the wall mountable sleeves that come with it. You get 2 in the box. I use one above my keyboards to see sheet music on my iPad. The other one I mounted above my desk so I can view it while I am doing bills, work or play. I am going to check into buying a couple more sleeves, one for the kitchen, one for the porch. This is a very well made product and would buy again in a heartbeat. Would make a great gift, make your friends or families favorite tablet hands free. You can easily adjust and mount tablet stand.

Need to Display? This is the way!

This is a practical, efficient, functional and aesthetically pleasing way to view and use your ipad or similar devices. We use it mainly in the kitchen and it serves its' purpose beautifully. Because of the two under-counter mounts supplied, I have it mounted in two locations and use it on both sides of the kitchen. It also work great as a free standing unit for any location. It's well made, sturdy and I love the design & look. Clearly one of my favorite items purchased this year. I would highly recommend the product.

Looks Awesome and Works Great

I needed something to hold my Nvidia Shield tablet in the kitchen so I could access my recipes at eye level. I tried propping it on the mixer and a bunch of other things without success. I loved the high-tech look of this one and the reviews were good so I decided to give it a try. I haven't used any of the mounts yet (but we may; it's a great option). I had a little bit of trouble popping the caps off at first to adjust the tension and when I first put the tablet in the mount, I didn't squeeze it to get it snugly so it fell out after a minute or two. Once I figured those two minor things out, though, it's fabulous! I love that I can move it from the island to over by the mixer or stove. Easy to rotate from landscape to portrait, but I tend to leave it in landscape. I have it slightly off center now so it's easy to plug in the charging cord without taking it off or moving it and it's stayed in there fine. If it would just walk around on those cute little legs, it would be perfect!

Great Tablet Mount

This tablet mount exceeded my expectations, it works great with my iPad Pro 12.9 inch without any protective cover installed. I can sit this on my desk at work and it is sturdy enough to hold it without any problems. This mount comes with two base mounts, I plan to put one under cabinet in kitchen and one in the garage so I can use the mount when wood working and using plans on iPad. The mount is very easy to setup, it has squeeze buttons to mount the universal holder to the stand, this seems to be very sturdy and well built, you are able to swivel the iPad left and right and up and down, the stand has two legs that can be adjusted to steady the base. The instructions indicate you may need to tighten the joints after continued use and that only makes sense. In my opinion if you are looking for a base mount for you iPad Pro 12.9 this product is a good bet for the money.
