For the price these cant be beat. I shopped around a lot. The lowest price I could find locally for anything similar to this was more than twice the price. Most were 6-900 installed. These look really good and were fairly easy to install. The instructions leave a lot to be desired but it didn't take me long to figure out what to do. The best trick to figure out where the brackets go is to have a helper hold up the step while your under the side of the truck. From there it's a breeze to see which holes your using to attach the brackets to. The little plastic bracket covers are nice and can be put on after the rail is installed but I put them on before I put the rail on when I did the other side. My only complaint is the little bracket covers don't quite go up far enough to completely cover the metal bracket and lower bolt. It's about 1/2" shy. But I'm not spending 900 for 1/2" more plastic bracket coverage lol. They are really well made and good looking. Try them, you'll like them I'm sure.

These seem like a very good running board. With and kids are very happy I put these on so that it's easy for them to get in the truck. The driver said took me about 20-30 minutes to do. The passenger side is a different story. The def tank makes the installation very rough. Your choices are to either drop the def tank or spend 2 - 2 1/2 hours on the passenger side alone. Looking at how big a pain in the butt it looked like it was gonna be I decided to leave the def tank in place and find a way to work around it. I removed the outer plastic shroud and the skid plate on the bottom to give me a little better access. Fellows I suggest using a 13mm ratcheting combo wrench and use a 13mm 1/4" drive shallow well socket with a 1/4" drive flex head ratchet. With those two tools you can install the brackets with the def in place, but I ain't gonna lie to you. It still wasn't easy, but it made it doable. With the front and middle bracket I had to make to slits in the plastic shroud for the def tank. I made them about 3/8" wide by about 2 1/2" long and used by air die grinder with a cut off wheel. Good luck guys

pros: black plastic looks good, doesn't seem delicate, mounts seem sturdy. i weigh 230lbs and jumped around on it after installation without any issues. looks pretty good on silver '16 sierra crew cab. cons: pictures in instructions were not printed very well. hard to tell what was going on. took me about an hour of reading through the confusing language and pictures to figure out what i was doing. once i got one side done, the other side was easy.

Researched many different brands and at our local truck accessories shop. These running boards are much better in quality and design than their competitors. I installed in 1.5 hours and took my time. Instructions were good and the finished product on my 2016 Silverado dresses it out perfectly. This is my third Tyger purchase (tonneau cover, hitch pin, and running boards) and I am now hooked. Lower prices and higher quality. Can't go wrong!!

I purchased these bars after looking at many different sites. The price can't be beat and after reading all of the reviews I thought I'd take a chance. They arrived as promised and with no deficiencies. I read the instructions thoroughly, and started on the drivers side. The best way to make sure you are using the right holes is to measure, from center, all three mounting locations on the bars and find the corresponding locations on the vehicle. Once that was done, the install went very easy. Took about an hour or so by myself and they look great. I've driven around all day, climbing in and out, and what a difference. They will definetly help with the wear of the seats. They look great and would absolutely recommend so far.

After shopping around on Amazon and other websites (even checking brick and mortar stores), these Tyger Risers were both the look and quality I was after (and at a fraction of the price of competing product). I'm pretty happy with these, and they go well with my gray Silverado that has gray/black wheels. In terms of quality -- I'm around 250, have had them for a month or so, and I've never really felt them wobble or bend. We've even had lots of ice/snow, and these risers have never felt slick. I did have one hiccup with a mounting bracket that wasn't powder coated like all the others, but I reached out to Tyger Auto and Rick in customer service did a great job to make things right free or charge. I received a replacement bracket within a week's time. I would totally buy these again and recommend them to others because they are quality-built and almost half the price of everything else I looked at and considered.

At this price I thought it would be difficult to find a quality side step. These come with good hardware and installation is incredibly easy. It took me around 45 minutes but I always take my time with projects like this. They also have covers for the mounting brackets that give these a nice factory look. I bought similarly priced side steps for my last truck and i was not nearly this impressed. Also a great fit on a 2016 Silverado Crew Cab.

By far my best purchase here on Amazon. I bought a used 2009 Chevy Silverado a few weeks ago that didn't come with rails. After I looked for a few weeks I decided to by from Tyger. I did this for a few reasons: 1st - it comes with a warranty which I hope to never use. 2nd - they make products for jeeps so I know they can last through a lot. 3rd- why be like every other truck out there with more common rails that look like stock or iPhones. The placement of the rubber is spot on at the doors, but I would like to add more grip to the slick parts for those just Incase moments. When first opening the box everything is color coded with plastic for easy planning. Green is drivers side and clear is passengers side. The instruction manual was easy to read and total Assembly took about one hour just taking my time. All you need is a 13mm socket, put everything together but don't tighten until everything is set. I started tightening everything down from the middle then front follow by back and used lock tight. I would have taken more pictures but I installed everything in the rain because I could not wait any longer. Once I save up more money I plan on buying more products from Tyger.

This is my new "best thing I ever ordered on Amazon" item. This morning, before my shipment arrived, I had a chance to examine a truck like mine which had factory installed running boards. I wanted to see how they were mounted so I could compare with how this product mounts, guess what--they looked exactly the same. Then this afternoon my order arrived and I got a chance to install these beauties, it took me about an hour and I did scratch my head with the front bracket on the passenger side for a few minutes (it's different from the others) but the finished installation is very impressive! They are very strong and look GREAT! The price was a bargain and I never made a better purchase--Color me VERY SATISFIED. Now I'm going to have to investigate what other products this manufacturer sells.

First, I'm not even "shade tree" quality for anything auto. That being said, the price was right so I figured I'd give it a try. The instructions shipped with it seemed to be lacking and weren't as descriptive as the online version from the manufacturer. After printing that version, installation was smooth... except the front passenger bracket. In a perfect world, I needed six of the same mounting bracket; not five of the same mounting bracket and one unique bracket for the front passenger. The front passenger mount took the longest for me. I am not sure about other Silverado's out there; mine didn't have anything different from the front driver's side. A one hour installation took me three hours. That being said, I was able to get the step rails on my truck successfully. They are functional and look great.
