GREAT FOR THE PRICE
Only had them on a couple days now, but these seem great. Box came a little beat up, but no damage to the boards. The instruction layout is extremely jumbled around, but once I figured out what parts to skip around to; it was a breeze. Once I had the first bracket on, I threw aside the instructions & finished the rest. Everything came labeled left & right side. However, they mislabeled the board sides, which didn't take long to figure out. It seems like they will only fit if you do it correctly. Make sure not to tighten the bolts until everything is lined up & level. Took maybe 1.5 hrs to complete, since my Ram is already pre-drilled for boards. I was quoted about $600 at the Dodge dealership when I picked up the truck. For less than $200 & 2hrs of work, I am very happy.

2016 Ram Awesome Nerf Bars!
Put these on my 2016 Ram Sport 4x4 Crew Cab. Definitely bang for your buck. I had a more expensive set of nerf bars on my 2014 ram and they didn't seem as sturdy as these. They are extremely well made, very easy to put on, and came with everything I needed. Best price, great product, well made. I highly recommend them.

1500 crew cab Dodge Laramie 2016
This fit my 2016 Dodge 1500 crew cab Laramie, with no problems. I had the 2 already threaded, horizontal holes, that you have to lay down and look up to find. and no need to remove the tape for any access. If you stand back a little from the truck, you can see the already drilled holes in the "pinch weld", these are used for mounting the arms as well. follow these to find the main mount holes. It took me exactly 2hrs to install, including clean up. Once you do one side, the other takes less time. Make sure to tighten everything evenly and check your mounts a couple days after driving, in case they loosen up. 1 person, a 13mm socket and the supplied allen wrench and it was no problem.

Very solid bars and they look great.
The step bars were exactly as described and a great fit on my 2016 Ram 1500 Big Horn crew cab. Make sure you read the directions. The green packaged parts are for the driver's side and the clear for the passenger. Note that front bracket's vertical edge will face opposite from the center and rear brackets. The illustrations will show this if you take the time to read them. Doing this and everthing will line up perfectly to the truck and bars. I do wish the step pads were a bit longer each, but they are extemely solid and look great on the truck.

Solid product, great look, fairly easy install.
Just installed then last night and they are awesome. They add a great look to the truck and make getting into the thing for my kid a whole lot easier. The driver side step was scratched a bit in a few spots, going all the way through the coating. Beyond that, everything was in great condition and all necessary hardware was included. Install was a bit of a challenge, but mainly because four of the six brackets did not have prethreaded nuts in the truck like the front ones. Also, the steps to install could have been ordered differently I think. When you bolt the brackets on, you also secure the bracket to the trim and those are Allen screws, which is a necessary evil, but to compound things the angle is wonky. I spent the most amount of time slowly tightening those bad boys. The bracket covering I think may have been better to install last so that you have a bit extra room to screw those in place. It could have been my truck model too, I have a 17 Ram 1500 Crew cab.

Pleasantly surprised!
These are half to 1/3 the cost of "name brand" or accy store running boards/nerf bars, so I was slightly leary at first, but after reading so many positive reviews, as well as several recommendations on a ram owners forum, I gave these a go. I couldnt be happier one month in on my new truck. Pros / Likes: 1. Price! as mentioned before these things are a great buy for the money. Ive Installed accessories for 25 years on my vehicles and customer vehicles at dealerships. The price is great, and for the quality its OUTSTANDING! 2. Over all fitment. The fitment process was very good. Many aftermarket accy's have issues, even expensive top name ones. I was dreading the inevitable drilling or bending on my new truck but never had to do that. One bracket did require a slight mod, but Ill explain that in a second. All in all, these were so close to OEM fit and quality, its hard to even ding them for that, despite it being expected.. ALL brackets were stamped as to location, and all hardware was present, and sorted into bags. The installation instructions were clear, and well written (not in broken Chinglish or Traphouse Anime like usual with import products). 3. Looks. I dont own a lifteed 4x4 or top end trim truck. So I did not want a set of bars that looked like a roided up bro wearing affliction and ed hardy everything was going to slide out of the truck from all the hair gel and NJ grease if the door opened on his Bro-dozer at the valet line for a sleazy club. I just needed functional, subtle and decent looking bars. Thats exactly what I got. 4. Install time. I did these in my driveway, with ALL hand tools because my air compressor was down. Ive installed bars before so maybe that helps, but it took me about an hour to put these on laying on the ground and figuring out the captive plate placement needed for Ram applications. If this is your first set ever, Id expect 2 hours. If I had access to a lift that would have put my truck at stand up working height, and had a working compressor for air tools,I could have installed these in a half hour no problem. Theyre that well designed and layed out. 5. Strength. These things are STRONG. Im 275 lbs and they hold me no problem. both my 170-190lb teenage boys can stand on one side together (nearly 400lbs total) and they hold solid. My wife who is only 5' tall, couldnt hardly get in my truck before without replicating a circus act or mountain goat running from a predator to climb in. Now she can step up with ease. 6. Clearance. I have not measured the actual clearance difference - but on my 2wd HD ram 2500, these do not extend down any further than the front suspension i beams. So id say you dont lose any realistic ground clearance, esp since im not offroading. BUT if you took a tall curb at an angle where the rocker area would get exposed to an obstacle that the i beam or diff pumpkin didnt, there would be a greater chance of hitting board than if it were just rockers. BUT thats any running board on any truck, and a lifted 4x4 would not matter anyway most likely.. Just an fyi for overall drop, because these do drop below rocker a little bit and are not "flush" like some OEM boards can be. CONS / DRAWBACKS: Yes there are some. but ts so slight it shouldnt affect your purchase. More so just an FYI. 1. Final fitment issue - I had one bracket that didnt quite line up with the factory drilled holes in the rocker pinch weld. Theres NO WAY that bracket was bent in shipping as these are BEASTS of brackets. I figure it was just tolerance stacking in opposite directions by each mfg added up to the issue. fortunately it was a rear bracket and I swapped it with another (4 brackets are one direction, 2 brackets are another), and everything lined up then. Even if it was a front bracket, 2 minutes with a rat tail file would have been all that was needed to open the hole slightly. Some Ram and Ford applications require you to drill your own holes in pinch weld, so this would not even be an issue if thats your case. 2. Plastic covers from brackets. These are a bit flimsy and cheesy, held on with plastic pins. I have not had a problem yet, but I can see where driving through tall grass or something could snag and pull one off. They are universal fit with a large gap (that doesnt show though) but allows ample flexing.. We will see how the long term does on these. Again, for the price, do not let this deter you from buying these.. Overall, VERY VERY happy with this purchase

Great Steps: 2014 Ram 1500 Crew Cab
Installed on my 2014 Ram 1500 Crew Cab in about an hour. I like the look of the stirrup type nerf bars, but I wanted a solid step as I have two daughters to put into car seats it the back. I was thinking anything that isn't just one level step might be a pain to stand on while clipping the seats. Directions were clear and easy to follow. It helps to lay out all the parts before starting as everything is labeled for each side of the truck. For the money, I think these steps are very sturdy and mine have no flex at all. I will have to see how the hold up with New England winters.

Nice product and fit well.
Purchased these for a new Ram 2017 1500. Received in 2 days via Prime shipping. Box was a little beat up but there was no damage to the product. Nice inside packaging Styrofoam saved the product. Easy install. took me about 3 hours total. Instructions were complete and easy to understand. My truck had all the holes from the factory so it was really a no brainer. Everything fit the way it should. The plastic trim pieces for the brackets are a nice touch. I will be interested to see how they stand up as the retainers are simple push pins.Overall a very nice looking product that really compliments the look of my Laramie optioned Ram. Also, now my wife can get into the truck without using a little plastic step. LOL

Best on the market....period
I added this set to my 2017 Ram 1500, crew cab Slt. It went on fairly easy, the left and right sides are easy to identify, by the color of the bags the parts come in including the running boards. Drivers side is green bags, passenger side clear bags. I am a retired mechanic, for those not having a vareity of tools i would recommend getting a pencil magnet , makes it a bit easier installing the brackets to the truck. The middle bracket is the tricky one, not much clearance inside the lower body where the mounting bolt/stud assy goes in. A piece of coat hanger and a small pencil magnet helps greatly working the mounting bolts/stud into position. Start all bolts before tightening them. Although the instructions could be better, I think most people could install these with minimal difficulty. When finished I used good quality duct tape, to seal off the access hole. These side running boards are exceptional quality, with marine grade chrome. All the mounting bolts are metric. If your having difficulty with the instructions, there are numerous instruction videos on you tube, good luck.

4.5 stars
I am happy with the product overall. The price and quality are great, but the instructions are terrible and ended up being wrong. I am very handy and can figure out instruction pretty well, but this required me to remove and change out the brackets several times. If it wasn't for the confusing and poor instructions I would be ecstatic with purchase. Still giving it a 5 star because, sure it took me 40 minutes longer than it should to install but it is very sturdy and great traction. I live in northern WI and we got a lot of snow and ice which I was worried about, but always had great traction.
