Great pan, food slides right out. Follow all instructions. Small pan not well balanced. Handle causes it to lean back until something is put into it.

I LOVE THIS PAN. I have been using it for 2 months...EVERY DAY. Clearly, if you do not treat it right, it will not last. However, with TLC this pan is amazing. I love how it cooks burgers, chicken and fish. Perfectly even heat distribution. This was a seriously expensive purchase for me (for a cooking pan) but SO worth it. My only negative comment is that I know one day I will scratch this pan (or my wife will) accidently, and I will be so upset. She is like my baby!! BUY IT.

first of all pans will warp don't care what you pay for them now for these pans from just a dab of butter bacon fat or duck fat to add flavor nothing has stuck to these pans hash browns eggs hamburger I have not washed the pans yet just wipe them out and no warp But if I screw up and over heat the pan it will why because ALL PANS WILL WARP IF YOU OVER HEAT THEM its not the pan it is you for the price and performance of these pans you cant beat it

The packaging gave me a hint of what to expect: it was drop-shipped from Tramontina in an outer corrugated carton enclosing a solid inner retail box, with the pan sheathed in bubble-wrap; there was even a short length of cardboard tubing to keep the box from being crushed down into the pan. I just unpacked the pan and haven't used it yet, but this is probably the fourth 12" nonstick pan I've had and it's AT LEAST as well-made as any of them -- I'm inclined to say "best-made" but without having all of them in front of me it's hard to judge. I do have its predecessor, a Calphalon non-stick pan, and I can say that it's easily as well-made as that one ... and since I have both of them in front of me I can address a few of the issues mentioned in other reviews. Weight: the Tramontina weighs almost 5 oz. LESS than the Calphalon. Handle: the Tramontina's handle is only 0.25" longer than the Calphalon's (i.e., not particularly long) Rim Diameter: the Tramontina is 12.5" as compared with the Calphalon's 12.25", but the Calphalon lid for the old pan fits -- not as well as it fit the Calphalon, but easily good enough that I don't plan to buy a new one Base Diameter: hard to measure since the walls are sloped, but the Tramontina is closer to 10" and the Calphalon 9", so it should hold more food So it's not heavy and the handle isn't particularly long relative to at least one direct competitor, and there's no real problem with a lid fitting. Will report back when I've used it, but it's a very impressive piece of hardware.

I have tried them all and the non-stick surface eventually isn't anymore. This skillet works so well you can wipe it out with a paper towel. Now I do follow the manufacturers directions to the letter, allowing it to fully cool before washing it etc.

This is one of the best pans I have ever used. I have an older one that I have had about 5 years and is heavy duty and the finish on the inside is still in really good shape. So I ordered another. We have used this pan almost daily for something or other.

Sturdy, doesn't move on stovetop either, very happy

I've used this pan several times now, and it works very well! The non-stick coating works well and it is very easy to clean. It doesn't come with a lid, but they are readily available separately from other manufacturers if you want one, and I had no trouble ordering one along with the pan. The handle is a little longer than I'd expected, but that's probably a feature rather than a bug.

Had this for several weeks and using daily. Did a lot of research and poured over many product reviews after being bitten many times in the past by cheap pans. I can't find any faults with this pan: The coating is flawless and durable. Just treat it right- no overheating and don't ever scrub with anything harsh. The metal is thick and has not warped. The handle is secure and cool to the touch, and the pan sits level on a glass top stove even though the handle is heavy. I see a few complaints about the coating and it still amazes me that people don't treat their pans correctly. People don't realize that non-stick coatings are applied in a polymer base which is to say that it is essentially plastic. You must never use metal or harsh abrasives or harsh chemicals (oven cleaner) on non-stick pans. Treat it right and there's no reason the pan shouldn't last a long time.
