This laser is PERFECT! I have it attached on a NCStar quad rail of my Ruger 223/556 & as long as you tighten it down & adjust your shots (at least 10 rounds), it will work perfectly. Mine came with a cheap battery. My only suggestion is to by a pack just in case. As far as the laser, it is BRIGHT! Took my setup to an outdoor range at noon, shot at 25 yards and saw the laser perfectly--no need for sights. Unfortunately, at 50+ yards you need a scope to see it on the target, however, it is still bright.

Awesome Laser Scope for the money!!!

Worked great right out of the box. Remote switch is momentary, press = on, let-go = off. Which is good, otherwise I am sure I would go through batteries quickly. Have been using for a week now and the laser has probably been on a total of 5 minutes or so and I have not had any issues at all with the battery losing power or with the laser. It comes with two separate mounts which comes in handy if you also have a tactical flashlight you would like to mount and only a scope rail like my AirSoft gun. Can't speak to shock issues as there is no recoil on an AirSoft rifle. Also, I was able to dial it in perfectly in only a minute or two. You can see the laser dot over 50 yards away in the middle of the day which is impressive. Awesome bright laser scope especially for the money!

Holy smokes this thing is bright. Strong sun is no match for this laser. See it at a great distance in strong sun light no problem. Night is ridiculous. Easily see it for miles. Yes, MILES. Also comes with a remote switch or you can swap it out for a traditional "click button" on the back which works well. Totally maxed out my light meter (200,000 Lux) Very highly recommended.

This thing is very bright

I bought this for my Remington 870. Fits great, works like a champ, looks good. The weight is fine since I only use my gun for home defense. Easy to install and had two different mounts so it can be mounted alone or onto an existing pictinny mount. Had I known how bright it was I may have purchased a different one though. It is right on the verge of being too bright for indoor, night home defense. It would be perfect for outdoor use, even in the daytime. At night the beam is extremely easy to see across the room, out the window, across the yard and to the neighbors garage more than a couple hundred feet away. The adjustments are under caps, so they should hold up against weather conditions fine if you are outside.

Old battery

I think I like the laser. It was easy enough to mount and seems easy to zero. But the truth is, the battery didn't last long enough to finish the zero. The battery died in less than two minutes. Edit.....I purchased another CR123 battery locally, and the laser works well. Easy to see, even in daytime. And very easy to adjust the zero. The seller, Primerock, just emailed me, offering to refund the cost of the replacement battery, which is more than fair, in my book. For this reason, I'm changing my rating from the original 3 stars to 5.

Super bright laser. Holds zero so far after two range sessions. The dot is not as crisp as other lasers of the same design but is crazy bright compared to them.

Really only a 4 star due to poor instructions

Very bright and solid laser pointer. I would give it a 4 star but the only reviews that generally get read are the 5s and 1s. The reason I would downrate it is because it's a bit difficult to know how to set it up. The instructions give no clue as to the orientation of the pointer. The windage adjustment marked 'UP' must be positioned on top of the top. The adjustment indicates which way the beam is being moved. So if you're moving the beam up, the shot will be moved down. The original battery has a very short life. I didn't leave it on continuously and it still only lasted for about 50 shots. A name brand battery lasts much longer.

This is the brightest laser I've ever seen comes in a nice box with foam protection it is nicer than I expected and showed a friend he bought one the next day a great value for the price one little thing is it would be nice if it came with a charger I ordered a charger and 6 more batteries for 13.00 dollars the brackets are nice will fit on just about any gun with a rail or a barrel mine is mounted to my tactical 715p gun has a pressure switch with it I would tell anyone interested in a green laser sight for your gun to buy this . Easily seen day or night long distances !!

Absolutely amazing. Recommended.

Be very cautious testing this. It is BLINDING even when you point it away from you. I beamed it on a white wall maybe 15 feet away from me, and I couldn't handle looking at it. It's intensely bright to the point where you can see the laser beam coming from the laser. This was in a well lit room too, I can't even imagine how it does in the dark. If you're looking for a laser sight, this is the one. I haven't tested the pressure switch yet though. It comes with two "battery caps", one is a literal click-switch to have it on/off constant, and the other cap is wired to the pressure switch where you just hold the switch to turn on the laser until you let go. Battery, switches, and tools included. I'll submit a picture when I get the chance to upload.

Best thing on Amazon under $30

This is my favorite purchase I have made from Amazon. This thing is amazing. It is super long range, durable and battery life is good. If I could come up with a good justification I would by another one. I have had it for about a year and use it about once a week and have had no problems. I use mine for directing police dogs during searches.
