I purchased this monitor arm and was a bit skeptical due to the great price point of it. I'm using it with an ACER Predator XB271HU monitor as I have a Sound BlasterX Katana and the sound bar wouldn't fit right under the monitor with the large protruding feet of the monitor. I am DEFINITELY impressed with the quality build and ease of setup with the product. The torque / tension adjust is easily adjustable and is able to handle the weight of the Acer panel easily (about 11pds without the stand). The clamp is well built and fits securely. The only two nitpicks I have are that the adjustment for the monitor tilt is hidden under a plastic sheeth that isn't really easily seen in the instructions..or obvious that it comes off AND that the arm does not rotate a full 360 degrees so I have to have the arm slightly offset to hold the monitor in the position I want it to. Those definitely are not worth taking stars off for. Overall a solid buy for a great price. Considering picking up a second for another 27" monitor as well.

I used to use a dual monitor mount. However, I stupidly bought a desk where I was unable to mount to the center of the desk. I bought 2 of these (one for each monitor) so that I could mount them off center and still get them where I wanted them to be. Check the photo to see what I mean. Pros 1. They work for both of my monitors. No problems holding them in place. The tension on the gas pump part is extremely easy to configure and they provide the allen wrench to do it. 2. I used the clamps, but it's kind of awesome that they included a way to mount it to the desk with screws. 3. They're actually pretty light. Both of these together weighed a little bit less than the dual monitor mount I had been using. 4. The vesa screw holes fit perfectly for my monitors. Your mileage may vary. 5. They look nice. 6. The base rotates 220 degrees while the mid arm rotates a full 360 degrees. The gas portion moves up and down and the vesa plate rotates left and right about 180 degrees. Excellent for getting everything just right. Much more flexibility than my dual mount. Cons 1. Honestly don't know how long this gas pump thing will last. Hopefully it's a very long time. 2. If your monitor has a recessed vesa mount and it's the smaller standard, this won't fit in there. Again, your mileage may vary. 3. The 14lb limit is really pushing it. I dunno if I'd use one of these on an ultra wide monitor unless it fell far under that weight limit. Again, your mileage may vary. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase. My monitors are where I want them to be and I can adjust each one individually. These are what I was looking for and I would recommend them. At least for now. We'll see how they hold up long term.

Very happy with this. It has good options for mounting to a desk with all the hardware you will need. The hardest part is getting all my cables to stay inside the cableways, but once that's done it looks and works great. I am using it at work with a 20" monitor. I paid for it myself and would do so again.

Construction is great. I have a 29" LG Ultrawide mounted to it. Be aware that the weight of the monitor actually matters more than the size when considering an armature like this one . My monitor only weighs about 11lbs which is well within the limits that the arm can support. Cable management and installation is a breeze too.

Some old sayings contain a lot of truth, but others don't. One that I've always disliked is, "You get what you pay for," because it denies the possibility of ever getting a bargain. And that's what this monitor mount is--a bargain. At a fraction of the cost of similar items, you get a capable and useful accessory that can really help with your day-to-day computer work. I was looking for a gas-spring monitor mount that would be stable, would free up desk space, would be easily adjustable and could be rotated between landscape and portrait modes without any fuss. This North Bayou mount checks all the boxes. I don't have much clearance behind my desk, so I turned the lower arm of the mount so that it's parallel to and directly above the desk's back edge. Then I used the upper arm to bring the monitor back to where I wanted it to reside. The last step is to just turn the monitor to face me. The mount is *very* configurable and can be made to fit in to almost any situation--the joints all swivel and rotate in 3 dimensions. Just use your imagination a little when you set it up and study the photos posted by the seller and the other reviewers. I've had it in service for 4 months. No issues.

This one of the most amazing products I have ever bought in Amazon. Easy to install, works as advertised and it totally transformed my work stations. There are unlimited positions you can adjust the monitor depending on your preference and you can install it without damaging your work surface. It is amazing. The cable management feature is an added bonus to an already awesome product, specially at that price point. Absolutely love it.

I purchased this arm for use with my Wacom tablet, it supports the weight of my tablet very nicely. However... I implore you, would-be consumer, to be careful when opening this package and keep it away from your face when removing the velcro binding strap. This sucker is spring loaded and it punched me in the face like I owed it money. I managed to install the arm without further incident. My bruised cheek will heal, but my bruised ego may take longer.

Yep, it's perfect. Once the tension is right, the tv/monitor can be easily tilted, rotated, and moved up and down (and all around) and then stays put. Perfect for getting it up off the desk and exactly where I want. There's a nifty rail system for the cables, too. Installation is straightforward and simple. 1. Affix the arm to the desktop (pick a spot where the lower arm will point toward, not away from, the desk); 2. Attach the tv/monitor to the arm with the included bolts (the two standard sizes are provided); and 3. Turn the bolt at the bottom of the upper arm as many times as needed with the included allen wrench to adjust the tension to the weight of the tv/monitor. Easy peasy.

Good sturdy monitor arm. I have used other arms. So far, the best I have used i the Human Scale monitor stands. This monitor arm is not to the standard of the Human Scale M2/M8, however, at the price point it is not a bad option. It is sturdily built, but bit crude compare to Human Scale. However, the adjustment of the arm is reasonably secure with the 24" monitor. For about 40$ this is perfectly acceptable solution, and at 1/10th the cost of the Human Scale arms, this lower level of performance is to be expected. The 24" monitor was less secure with this arm than with the Human Scale. If you are on a lower budge and for home use this is perfect alternative to much more expensive monitor stands, through not as steady and sturdy and the higher priced units I have used.

Mounted on my desk firmly. The back end has two positions for height so thicker desks are supported. My desk is awkward (cheap ikea garbage) so although the top ks flat, the underside only has a small portion to grab on to. And yet, its been holding up no isdue since the day I got it. My monitor is a bit older so for its size its a bit heavier. The tilt portion is kind of weak because of the weight (or i mounted it upside down but i dont think so). I tried to adjust the tightness of the tilt to hold more firmly but its legit maxed out. But again, that is on me because my monitor is much older and thus heavier than other 24" of today. So i cant dock a star for it, user error is never a means to dock a star. Other than that, flawless. The other 2 joints have not needed adjusment and it has plenty of travel in the directions i need to make doing different tasks feel better. Having an arm like this is nice because tou dont have a crap stand getting in the way of your keyboard and vice-versa. I also have more desk space now too which is a bigger bonus.
