Autism family MUST have!

My Autistic little guy has broken SO many ipads in the best cases i could find, but this screws into wall studs and only opens with a key! I ordered 2 more so he can play in multiple rooms!! One sugestion is to gorilla glue the black inside supports in place if you plan to take the ipad in and out because those stinkin things can be a pain if you don't!!!

Sleek, sturdy, stylish...and did I mention sturdy?

This has a surprising amount of weight to it, the fit and finish are top notch as well. It’s a bit cumbersome to load the iPad into the case and hold the spacers in place, but once it’s done the well-made spacers hold everything rock solid. I did away with the home button cover as I could never really get it to sit right. We used this to mount an old iPad 2 in our residence to act as a security cam monitor/ audio entertainment hub and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Sturdy lock keeps little hands from poaching it. Some tips/tricks on installation: - if you’re using an iPad with the old style wide connector be sure you install the cord BEFORE screwing it to the wall. The cable slot is too narrow to pass even the USB end through. - when installing the spacers, insert the 2 top ones and use slight pressure on the tablet at an angle to keep them in place. Install one bottom spacer on the inside rim and place the 4th spacer against the tablet (still held at an angle) then gradually work it into place. Reach through the frame and hold the tablet in place as you close the door. I installed ours in a landscape orientation (horizontal) so fighting with the door wasn’t as much of a problem. As others have stated, the cover doesn’t open all the way. -You’ll lose the ability to control power and volume via the side and top buttons. No matter. Enable the time out feature in the settings and swipe up to use on-screen volume controls.

Great price for the product

This case is extremely durable. However, I do have the following issues: 1) The front cover is difficult to open when the case is attached to the wall. The hinge locations prevent the door from opening fully. 2) The rubber corners that hold the iPad in place should be superglued into the case once you find the correct placement for them. This will make reinstalling the iPad easier if you need to ever take it out. 3) If you are using an older model iPad with the 30-pin connector, pull it through the hole on the bottom of the case before installing the mount. Trust me...you'll be glad you did.

I buought this for my office Time clock, satire Station. I needed to. Hold my iPad onto the wall. I wanted key that Enable to open the box to take my iPad out when I needed. This is the perfect, and very tough steel made that I am very happy despite of the price I paid. Recommended.

Sleek. Solid. No Regrets.

No one has stolen my iPad yet. It’s in my basement, surrounded by Nest cameras and motion sensors. I use it to control my WiFi compatible Yamaha receiver.

Product arrived on time. Product was exactly as described on here. One thing to consider is if your iPad has a case the adjustable rubber support it comes with will not work. I have an iPad air and with its case I will need another kind of support to make it stay in place.

Holds Ipad securely, has a lock and key at the bottom. Works and holds great.. Please Note: if this is mounted to the wall you might wanna be careful. When you unlock and lift up the lid the IPAD will fall out on the ground.
