Worked perfect and was easy to fix

Great fit! Great price! Saw a video on utube that showed me how to install. Probably took us a bit longer than a Ford Mechanic but about $300.00 less. And I called the seller and the answered all my questions.

Part is as listed, fits well, and so far is working perfectly.

Hoping for 5 stars!!! I haven’t had this installed yet. I’m replacing them on my older car I’m selling. But after too much looking and wrong ones, this looks like I’ve finally found it! I’ll be sure after install, but looks right when side by side with the old one!!! I tolerated it being broken for a year, but I’m fixing it for the next person, guess I’m too nice!!!

Worked perfectly. Saved me bucks plus a day of hassle to leave vehicle somewhere for repair. I only wish I had bought two of them and would have done the window while I was at it!

Also a match for 2002 Explorer tailgate window latch, though the replacing the cable alone requires prying open a metal bracket.

I installed both window and tailgate cables and they both work perfectly! After reading the reviews on other options .... i.e. the aluminium pieces you can add, I decided to not bother and just get the cables. The window one is a challenge as you need to bend a steel tag on the assembly to remove and replace the cable. If you have a bench vise it is easy enough. That being said it is not an easy job!!

Perfect fit. 01 Ford Exp. Easy to replace.

So, after struggling with improperly sized metal replacement ends for several hours Friday evening, I ordered two of these cables Friday night for $19 each to repair my tailgate and window . THEY arrived SUNDAY at noon time, and were installed by Sunday evening. It's a bit of a struggle to get them installed due to lack of working room, but if you take pictures of how the cables are routed as a reminder and then unbolt the latch assemblies and take your time, it is doable. It helps to have a second person hold the tailgate open, hand you screws, etc. Be careful when working with the glass window latch assembly. It is easy to accidently disconnect the door ajar sensor during cable replacement. Make sure that the door ajar sensors are working properly and shutting off the interior lights, etc. when you close the tailgates before putting the finish panel back in place. Hope this helps.
