Great cooler, except cooling broke after about 6 months. However I contacted the company and they even sent me a big box to ship it back in then a new unit which worked perfectly. So this gets 5 stars from me because I am impressed, it is rare to find companies that still have warranties that are worth anything. I was afraid it would be the typical " pay for all shipping back and forth" which would end costing more than the cooler probably but they didn't even try to pull any BS. They seem like an honorable small american company, gets respect from me. I already recommended to a friend looking for a cooler.

Easy to set-up--- looks nice

Easy to set-up--- looks nice, very stable, EZ to load, I was a little hesitant cause some folks said it was a bit noisy. You can hear it work as it sucks water from the bottle underneath, but it is not at all loud. The refrigeration unit is very quiet as well. I like the fact you can turn off the heater--I myself, don't need the hot water side. It has a room temperature selection which is kinda neat, We use that more than I would have thought. Has a nice little night lite, so you can find your way to the water at night...pretty neat as well

Don't rent, buy - and THIS is the one to buy!

I've never been so happy with an appliance as I have with the Avalon water cooler. After multiple rental units that leaked or stopped working I did some research and decided to buy my own and went with the Avalon bottom loader. I couldn't be more happy. It setup in minutes after unboxing (it's essentially totally preassembled except for the shelf you put your cup on when filling, which snaps right in). You can turn the hot or cold sides off if you never plan on using them. My favorite feature of this water cooler is that out of the 4 different ones I've used in the last 2 years this one is whisper quiet. Wether its dispensing into your cup or a refrigeration cycle is kicking on it's definitely the quietest appliance in my home. It's attractive and doesn't draw a lot of attention to itself. The manual is well written. The bottom loading siphon attachment works well and pumps 99%+ out of a 5 gallon water bottle.

Great water cooler and dispenser.

I was getting tired of the taste of our tap water, so I decided to purchase this dispenser. It came already together. This works great. I like the fact that it is a bottom loader. The cold water is pretty cold and the hot water is pretty hot. It seems to be very well built.

Nicely packaged no damage

This was delivered today. Nicely packaged no damage. I am a single 53 year old woman. I had no problem figuring out how to operate it. It is nicely designed and sleek looking. It was a breeze to install the pump in the water bottle and get it going. It didn't even take 30 minutes to have nice cold water. I would recommend to anyone considering this purchase to get it. It's much nicer than any I could find in our local SAMs or Lowes. It runs very quietly . I love it! You won't be disappointed.

I purchased my Avalon water cooler in November of 2016. It has worked great since then and the bottom loading feature is very convenient. A part that dispenses cold water broke inside the cooler a month ago. I contacted Avalon and after a few emails and me sending some pictures, they determined that the part was not something they could send me to replace. So they sent me an entirely brand new cooler. Their customer service is top notch, and this experience shows me that they stand behind their product.

Initially I received a cooler that was defective. After calling amazon, they contacted the distributor who reached out to me within 24 hours to rectify the problem. I received a new unit within 48 hours. Absolute pleasure to deal with customer service and the unit looks gorgeous in my kitchen as it matches my stainless steel appliances, win win!

Great cooler

This water cooler is excellent. Easy set up. Bottom loading water is convenient. It is quiet in all modes, I saw reviews that said it's noisy; that is not the case. Three temperatures is great. The nightlight is perfect for late night use. Lastly, delivery was prompt and as advertised. I recommend the product!

I Loooooove my water dispenser so much! It's sleek, not bulky, no drips after the water comes out, and works Perfect!!! I recommend this to anybody!! I paid this with my OWN money and I am So happy with this purchase. You have to get this and I promise you won't be disappointed. It comes already put together, all you have to do it take it out the box, add the water at the bottom and that's it. It's not noisy at all and just perfect!!!

Love my water cooler.

After having several expensive fridges with all the bells and whistle go bad and then looking at the expensive price to repair I went with breaking things out into a Fridge only, water cooler and ice machine. So if anything goes bad it is an expensive replacement/repair. This cooler was easy to assemble, just take it out of the box and attach the water spill container. The water bottle goes in the cabenit underneath so it is not visible. There is a pipe an cap you place into the bottle to draw the water up. It keeps the water nice and cool. I don't use the hot water and there are buttons to turn off the different functions. It just works. Being using it for 1 week now and the family are all now attached. No more fridge full of 16 oz water bottles. Our part to save the ocean :)
