I have a Bichon Frise who has had trouble with tear stains in the past. I switched to distilled water, and that made a bit of difference, but I needed to do something more. Another Bichon mom suggested Solid Gold, and we've said goodbye to tear stains! My dog loves it, the heart shapes are extra cute, and tear stains are a thing of the past. So glad we found this product--I won't feed my dog anything else!

I once fed Hill's Science to my dogs and never again feeding them garbage brand. I like to google the dog food company and find out who is behind them. Solid Gold is one of the proud standalone brand that have not brought by the bigger company like Purina. I love feeding their product to my dog and knowing their products will not harm my dog. Of course, my 8 lb Pomeranian love the tiny kibble.

I raise my Maltese from 8 weeks old to 17 years old on solid gold food so after a lot of research I decided I would stick with it and use this one with my new puppy. We had a hard time trying to adjust his food at the age of 3 months 2-4 months. He's a small dog and will Wayne no more than 8 lb when he is full grown. This food is very rich and we ended up buying a 1/8 cup scoop. we fed him 4 times a day because he was very active. I also bought a feeder that helped him slow down his eating because he would gobble everything without even hardly chewing it. he likes this food and I think I'm going to stick with it

Have been feeding all my dogs and the foster dogs we cared for while they found a forever family the past 10yrs and never consider changing. Made in United States in San Diego and they give tours of facility so you can see for yourself what’s they say is in food is in it and the cleanliness of factory. This has been great food and I know my dog food Mini Bites has never been recalled for any reason that I know of.

Dog sitting and was not happy with the food the dog was eating. I use this brand for a bigger dog-Lamb and Brown rice for 13 years. Tried this instead for this big eared wonder dog who has chop sticks for legs. Worked way better, after a month: put on some much need weight, nice lush coat and more energy. I also use the wet food with warm water (smells delicious to the dog) mixed in. Feed twice a day with a tablespoon of wet food (same brand) added to the 1/3 cup of dry with a wee bit of warm water. I also recommend Idaho potatoes boiled plain to the food if need to switch without enough of the old food.

Having a dog with grain allergies I was happy to try this out. I love it because it is good for her, and does not cause any digestive or health issues that I have suffered in the past with previous brands by the big name makers. It doesn't have an offensive smell and she happily gobbles up her food. The first ingredient listed is chicken and it has a high protein percentage. And many super foods included. It does not contain any corn, wheat (gluten), soy or sugar, nor any artificial preservatives or flavors. But I can't see anywhere on the bag that it's organic so it might contain GMO products. I have noticed since feeding my Dachshund this that her coat is shiny and she seems to not be scratching at her ears and chewing on her feet. It is a bit on the pricey side, but its your pets health, and to me that is worth any price.

I am beyond grateful to have found this food! My puppy since I’ve had him, he is 4 months now has had diarreah. I’ve taken him to so many vet visits and they keep telling me he has a sensitive stomach because he is acting normal other than the soft stool, ofcourse im freaking out because I was starting to believe he had a dangerous underlying condition. Well upon finding this product, I specifically googled “best food for sensitive stomache.” None the less he now has normal poop!! My baby is finally normal.

Both my dogs eat this food daily with a little olive oil. My chihuahua's skin problems have cleared up and although I was told she didn't eat dog food when I adopted her almost 4months ago, she gradually learned to enjoy this food. My dachshund has been eating Solid Gold regularly for about 6 years.

My dog LOVES this food. We were having issues with his weight being a little low because I couldn't find a food he liked well enough. This did the trick and got him to a perfect weight because he actually wanted to eat it. Silly picky little dog. I don't mind the cost, which is a bit high, but I'll pay it for my dog.

All three of my Chihuahuas love this fishy-flavor food, despite it being called chicken-flavored. I have two senior rescues who've had to have teeth pulled, and the kibble is tiny enough for them to eat without difficulty or discomfort. My 1-year old likes it too! The price is right and the food appears to be favorable to their digestive systems. I have had my pups on this food for a couple of months and intend to keep them on it, pending any issues at their future vet visits. Would recommend.
