Great looking keyboard

I really really like this keyboard. I love the colors, they shine brightly and the gradient is just really cool. They keys are nice and easy to push, and they aren't too loud. I type pretty fast and there's nothing I hate more than a loud keyboard, because the faster you type the more noise it makes. The only weird thing I would say about this keyboard is the backslash and enter/return button. Every other keyboard I've ever used has a longer return button and the backslash is on top of the return key, this one has a taller return key and the backslash is next to the apostrophe/quote key. Which makes it a bit hard to get used to. But eventually I will. But it's still weird. tl;dr it's a great keyboard, nice coloring, lights up well, types good, enter button slightly strange.

One of the best budget RGB mechanical keyboards!

I shopped around for quite a while trying to find an attractive mechanical keyboard with RGB backlighting for a reasonable price, and I'll admit I was a bit skeptical of this one at first, as it seemed too good to be true for the price. There were only a few reviews, but all very positive, and I was also able to find a youtube review pretty easily by googling it that also had nothing but good things to say about this product. I decided to give it a shot, and I'm extremely glad I did! Here are the things that I LOVE about this keyboard: - The RGB backlighting is nice and bright, the variety of effects is fantastic, and changing between them is super easy. In addition, it retains your most recent setting even after shutting down and restarting, which is something not many other keyboards in this price range can boast. Simply put, it is beyond what any other keyboard in the price range offers. - The black keys on silver backing provides very classy and sleek appearance, and the silver helps reflect the backlighting to make it even more brilliant. - The keys have a wonderful tactile feel and provide a solid click when pressed that you would expect with blue switches. I have installed some clear o-rings on a few keys to test the difference, and I really like them, definitely going to install the rest; they mute the sound slightly without taking away from the pleasant feel of pressing the keys, and they don't inhibit the backlighting whatsoever. - The footprint of the keyboard is minimal (which I like), but without sacrificing functionality. Full media controls are available by using the function key and the top row of keys. I have yet to find any negatives about this keyboard. One thing I will note is that mine did not ship with a keycap puller, despite it being listed in the product description. I contacted the seller and they were extremely prompt and helpful, and reimbursed me for the purchase price of a separate wire keycap puller from Amazon. Their service has been fantastic, so I definitely give this product the full 5 stars. :)

BEAUTIFUL Keyboard!

I need to state up front that I'm not a gamer. I bought this keyboard because my keyboard shelf is in a VERY dark hole under my desktop. It's glorious to be able to actually SEE my keyboard again! And it's gorgeous. I can't figure out how to make it stop "breathing," however. It started breathing while I was asleep. I woke up and went to my desk and it had started "breathing." I followed the instructions that came with the keyboard to try to stop the "breathing," but no cigar. Besides, I'm sure it's user error. I'm probably not understanding the instructions as they are intended. Thankfully, the "breathing" doesn't bother me. This keyboard feels like a quality build. It's heavy for its size and feels quite durable. Plus, I can type as fast as I want and it keeps up with me, no lag at all. It helps that it has exactly the same key positions as the previous keyboard that I had for ten years. Fabulous keyboard I would recommend to anyone!

works really well for crowded desks

This keyboard solved my space problem. My desk has a 12" x 24" drop down keyboard platform which needs to hold two keyboards and two mice (trackballs) for two computers. It is a corner desk and each wing already has a keyboard, trackball, monitor and computer. I am well into my 70's and the back-light is essential - if I use a bright desk light, the monitors wash out. The other three keyboards are HCman notenkey's and I needed a different keyboard so I don't get confused about which computer I am 'talking' to. This keyboard has 11 function key combinations just to control the LED back-light effects, which I guess is supposed to appeal to gamers. I am not a gamer and just need a bright, easy to read, back-light, which this keyboard has. The keyboard has the standard fold down tabs to increase the tilt.

So far so good!

Our work changed our computer and our keyboard. The work keyboard had no travel and keys would often stick. Although this keyboard is for gaming, it has lots of travel and is responsive. The lights add an extra flair and co-workers are often curious. Overall, for the price, the quality is great. It isn't quiet but that would mean the keys would be lower profile. Update: Two months of using this at work, the "R" and "I" stopped working on a consistent basis. I contacted the seller and Phoebe was very helpful, prompt and sent me a new keyboard to try. 5 stars as this keyboard is affordable, comfortable and with great customer service.

Great for price

Very heavy and sturdy feeling keyboard with mechanical typing feel. The LED lights are impressive and boast three different color settings as well as a mode to cycle through all three... Amazon's picture uploading sucks and doesn't let me choose more than one picture at a time so hopefully I attached the three separate modes with no duplicates. Typing is accurate, responsive and enjoyable.

Awesome keyboard…

Bought November 2017. My husband is 74 and was having a hard time with our other wireless keyboard. I know it's a "gaming" keyboard, but he likes the large keys that sit high and are well spaced, the strong tactile feel and he really likes the backlit keys. I do wish that it would let you have just a solid background.

Reduced finger travel, good keyfeel, not too loud

My findings for this keyboard vs. other ergonomic models without a number pad: Sculpt -- too much finger travel -- may not be an issue with people with larger hands; I didn't like that it was wireless. Freestyle2 -- I didn't like the "Insert" key nor the special keys on the left that didn't work well in my terminal program. F7 oddly on the left half. TOMOKO Blue Switch 87 key -- Too loud, but I liked the key arrangement. KeyOvation Goldtouch -- A close competitor for me; I found the key layout and the right shift resulted in many typos. Compared to the Freestyle2, I liked that I didn't need an extra tenting kit and that F7 was on the right.

Great buy

Downloading the color software was easy, it walks you through it step by step. The colors are wonderful and vibrant, easy to adjust once you get everything set up. Been using it for a few months now and have had zero problems. The sound from the keys is medium volume, not as loud as a true mechanical keyboard but louder than most standard ones. I haven't had any complaints though, and I usually keep my mic open when gaming. This was to replace the standard logitech keyboard that I always seem to be replacing every two or three years because it gets filthy. This looks MUCH easier to clean, even comes with a little key remover. Haven't done anything but spray a little canned air around the outside of it, but so far that's keeping it tidy. Great buy.
