Better than Expected

We purchased a GMC Terrain recently and were originally looking for sun screens for the car. We found that the cheapest you could find for a quality product was around 40.00. While I was scrolling through products I came across this. I read the description and found that it works to keep frost/ice off the windshield as well as keeping the inside protected from the sun and cool. We decided to try this. Winter is not here yet, but it is working well as a sun screen and keeps the car cool. We are very happy with this item.

Good quality

I bought the cover for my dodge caliber and it fits like a glove. If.my car was any bigger it wouldn't work. The 2 straps go around the side mirrorS and the 2 flaps get folded into the car and you shut the doors. This keeps the fabric nice and tight so the wind will not move it. It covers the wipers and the little space between the wipers and hood so ice and snow will not accumulate there either. I pulled it off after light snow last night and it just slid right off. I folded it and threw it in the back. Perfect for winter weather.

Better than Expected--Do not scrape

The windshield cover is much better than I expected. It is made from a heavy material and couldn't be any easier to use. We haven't had any snow yet, but we have had freezing rain and threats of freezing rain. I put the cover on my windshield and went inside without having to worry about an icy windshield in the morning. I'll be using this cover on my windshield all winter or until my carport arrives. This is a great tool for anybody that may have to leave their car outside. Not only does it protect your windshield from frozen precipitation, but also from falling sticks, nuts, etc.

Old Man Winter Lost This Battle

Received this product earlier in the week, just in time for a major winter storm. After 6 inches of snow and ice, this was the result: a spotless windshield. In addition to this product, I also used a couple mirror covers (Zone Tech Auto Side Mirror Protective Cover - Premium Quality Cl... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0716JW2M2/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_awdo_t1_4Lh.Bb728G0K0) since I don't have defrosters for the side mirrors. Despite the fact that it comes with no instructions, it's easy to put on and easy to take off. Just loop the straps around the mirrors and put the flaps inside the front doors...and done. A scrape job that would have taken at least a half hour took less than 10 minutes. The only downside (and it's honestly not even worth taking a star off for it) is where to put the cover to let the snow and ice melt when not in use. This isn't a problem if you have a garage in which you can hang it up. However, I live in an apartment and have only two options: put it in the car and let it get the carpet wet (not a chance), or bring it in and hang it in the shower. For the convenience of not having to spend and extra 20 minutes scraping snow and ice, this tiny inconvenience is worth it. And, when dry and not being used, it folds up neatly into the pouch it arrived in. I highly recommend this product. I also recommend mirror covers and maybe a can of de-icer for the rest of the windows, especially if you live in an area that gets quite a bit of snow and ice, even in small amounts.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT

I was very skeptical at first about this product. I thought the price was low considering what the product claimed and the materials used. After a month of Ice, lots of snow, and below zero temperatures, I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!! I have highly recommended this product to several people and will continue to do so. The amazing thing to me about this product was its ability to with stand -20 degree temperatures with snow and ice. No cracking, tearing, or any problems with this windshield cover. Actually fits full size windshields and keep inside car cool from sun! Very nice!

Works much better than others I've tried. It even fits my full size car windshield, where most are too small... BUT IT DOES NOT fit a full size pickup, and the elastic breaks if you try to stretch it round the mirrors... The test now will be how it holds up in the wind and how long it lasts. From initial appearance I can tell it is made of better materials than any others I've tried... so here's hoping!!! Wish they made one to fit pickup trucks!

Thick fabric; fits CX-5 and Civic

This feels to be durable material, maybe similar to 600-700 D Cordura. I tried it on a Maxda CX-5 2015 and a Honda Civic 2008 and it seems to fit them both. There is a flap on each side with a tube in it that you shut in your door, and an elastic band on each side to loop around the side mirror. It comes folded in a pouch of the same material. Have not tested it in snow yet, so will update later. UPDATE: 12/17 Well, tried it out a few days, and it works well. Saves time cleaning off the windows after work in the winter. See new pics.

I am very pleased with this product

I am very pleased with this product. We don't have much snow here, but I have a pickup that sits out and the frost forms on the windshield every night. It has saved me a great deal of time from not having to scrape the window every morning. I looked a long time and finally ordered this product. It is excellent quality and I have installed it even in a high wind with no problems. I highly recommend this product, and the price is excellent as it is half the price of other similar products.

It can work in bad weather and stormy conditions

It is perfact cover on 2018 camry,when I used in winter during snow fall and windy, it was not affected by weather.Even early morning I save my time.No need to clean snow from windshield and no screeching on windshield by snow remover.Actually I forget to write review so when I saw my history of order I got it.Perfect fitting on camry.

This thing really works!

This thing works as advertised. It totally blocks out the sun from coming into your automobile through the windshield. My car stays a lot cooler than using one that fits inside the windshield. I've only noticed a little bit of fading on the outside I don't expect dark black color to last very long, it's already faded quite a bit. The only change I wish they could make or offer is a silver color on the outside rather than black. Other than that I'm completely satisfied with it and I expect order another one for my other car.
