Easy to assemble lots of fun!

I was surprised how easy this was to assemble. It still took about 15 minutes, but the instructions were pretty easy to follow. The toy is an instant hit with my son. How could it not be when it's shooting cars super fast into each other for huge car pile up action? My 2 year old daughter loves watching him play with it too, but she needs constant reminding not to touch the fast cars. She already had her finger run over, but it didn't do anything, more of a surprise to her than an injury. The assembled toy is pretty big, but not too tall, so I think it will tuck away somewhere easily when not in use. The roads would disassemble and reassemble relatively easily for storage too if needed, but it might wear down the connectors over time if done often. All in all, easy set up, happy kids, great toy! I'm glad I decided on this for his birthday.

Happy 3 year old

I bought this for my son who just turned 4 as a birthday gift. I was a little apprehensive when reading other comments and this being our very first Hot Wheels track, but I'm happy to say my little guy loves this. He will sit and play with this for countless amounts of time. The cars do tend to crash together and fly off as others mentioned, but that is what the toy is meant to do. I think for my son that is the best part! He squeals with delight when they crash and he gets to pick them up and put them back in the track. Super exciting & fun!

Great toy

We got this as a Christmas present for our four year old son. I thought it would be a pain to put together, but it was pretty easy. Our son LOVES it. He started with one car zooming around the track, and ended up getting four at a time to zoom around. It gets pretty loud, between the zooming of the cars and the battery powered part of the track that moves the cars, but that's expected. It's a lot of fun, and different from the other race track he has. This is a fun toy, and I think he'll get a lot of use out of it.

A durable fun toy that

We have had this track for over a year now and my boys still love it. I am very surprised that the motor and traction pads that push the cars along have held up this well. The track still launches cars and my kids still lose their minds when the cars crash into each other.The track is well built and they attach to the base without flimsy fragile parts. This thing has been run over with a power wheels car and the track pieces simply break away without damage. Mattel really makes these tracks to last. This track runs on C batteries that will last for many hours of play. If the cars no longer make it around the track completely either you have cars with old wheels, cars that don't fit the rollers well, or the batteries are getting weak. Look for cars that have "Track" on their packaging....they seem to work best with this track. If your kid is sensitive to loud noises this track is loud.

This is the coolest Hot Wheels ANYTHING I have ever seen. Talk about making 6 year old boys (AND their 8 year old sisters) happy --they spend a LONG time trying to get the cars to time just right, and they spend just as much time finding cars that are just perfect for the high speed track -- I am 50 and I still think this is cool. Much of the newer Hot Wheels items have not held the interest of our kids, but this does. Cool, compact (relative to most Hot Wheels "nothing-else-can-go-in-the-room-while-this-is-here" items), and a thrill for the kids.

I am SOOO glad I chose this track set

I had a hard time choosing something to entertain my 6 year old grandson while he and his family were visiting for Thanksgiving. I am SOOO glad I chose this track set! It was exciting for him to get such a big box gift, of course. But the excitement intensified thereafter as well. He and his parents had it set up and running in minutes. And all 3 were having a ball playing with it. My grandson played by himself all afternoon, only stopping when it was time to leave. The whole family was anxious to get it home to connect it to their previous Hot Wheels track sets. All were amazed to find that ALL Hot Wheels cars, new and old, worked well staying on track....until the crashes of course! Money very well spent😁

Wonderful birthday gift

My son absolutely loves this track. We purchased it for his birthday and finally got needed batteries and set it up. He was really enjoying seeing the cars crash and was amazed at how fast they zoomed. It was definitely worth the money. The instructions we're easy to follow and it was a simple assembly that took maybe 10 minutes to complete. The package was delivered on time and packaged well .

My nephew love this it’s so hard to find a good toy for a boy but there is tons of great toys for girls I searched and search and came across this hot wheels crash track and it was perfect for him he was so excited to get his new toy and good thing I purchase the extra set of cars because my nieces enjoyed it as well

Cars won't fall off if you follow the Instructions

I read the reviews. For the people who complained about cars not staying on, you didn't follow the instructions carefully. When I first put it together, I slightly followed them, but was sure "I had it" when I just attached the tracks. When the cars wouldn't stay on, and yet they did when someone else had previously put it together, I realized it does in fact matter where each track is attached. So follow the instructions carefully. Otherwise, awesome toy. My 4.5 year old loves it. We keep it out for awhile and then we take it apart and put it away for awhile. It is like having a new toy when we pull it out again. Have fun!

The real deal!

I didn't have high expectations but Wow! If set up level, with supports centered, this thing really works! Got it for 2 granddaughters, ages 2 and 4. They are able to easily feed cars onto the track and are thrilled by the numbers of loops they can get before they jymp track. They are not into the crash aspect, but instead keep track of which cars go longer or faster. I once counted 64 full laps before a car jumped track! Now, sometimes they jump track after 1 loop, but there are enough "long rides" to make my little girls squeal in delight! Thousand of loops are on the 1st set of batteries too!
