Perfect replacement for my stock craftsman single stage snow blower. Much faster and simpler than rebuilding.

If your engine runs rough, replace the carburetor and be done with it.
Purchased for MTD 31A-2M1A700 single stage snow blower. The engine would "hunt" and surge the past few seasons. I had to run the engine with the choke nearly on to get a smooth enough idle. It would only really smooth out under load. I tried cleaning the original carburetor a couple of times with limited success. I even tried enlarging the jet slightly with only small improvements. I really wish I had just replaced the thing sooner. Removed the original carb, cleaned the intake throat, installed this new carb and priming bulb. Machine fired on the first pull. Backed the choke off to half after ignition and the engine smoothed right out. Let run for a minute to get good and warm then backed off all the way. Engine purred like new again. Very satisfied! Came with all three gaskets as shown. Priming tube was too short to be useful, so I simply used the original one instead. I didn't need to replace the priming bulb but figured why not since I had a new one. My only complaint is it did not come with any schematics on installation (and the priming tube that was too short). I simply looked up a schematic online to confirm the correct gasket configuration. Not enough of an annoyance to dock any stars.

OEM Fit - Troy Bilt 210 Squall
Arrived very fast and was a perfect fit for my Troy Bilt Squall 210 snowblower. Including gaskets was a big plus and now I have an extra primer.
