If you carry pepper spray you should practice!

This may be one of the best things I have ever bought on Amazon. I have been carrying pepper spray for years, for the past few years it's even been SABRE brand, but I have never practiced shooting it. Part of it was not wanting to waste the product, but a bigger reason was that I didn't want to risk blowback. I know logically that isn't likely to happen with pepper gels, but it still wasn't something I was willing to risk. Flash forward to me seeing this kit, and doing a happy dance. Seeing a way to practice using pepper spray, with a harmless gel, was beyond exciting. I immediately purchased it and started waiting. Once it arrived I couldn't get it out of the box fast enough, included was the actual pepper gel, the practice gel, and a poster to practice on. I wish I could include a picture of the poster, but it basically deteriorated from all of my practice. I now feel much more confident if I was to need to use my pepper spray I know how. I am a firm believer that every woman should carry some on their person, especially if they live in a large city, and I feel that much safer now that I know for a fact that if I need it I could hit a target.

Daughter was Confronted

I got this for my 16 year old after an older man repeatedly asked to drive her home from a gas station near her school. She turned & yelled loudly at him & had a male friend come meet her. So I got this & Sabre Personal Alarm She feels more secure & so do I. At the very least she will create a scene & some pain if need be.

I wouldn't be without it. My little dog was attacked by a German Shephard and I went into action with the MACE. The shepherd let go.and dropped my dog. I keep it on my dogs leash just in case. now I want one that will take down a BEAR. PS I keep the blue one in my purse.

Very Good quality and design

I bought these for my last summer vacation to Mexico city, thanks God we didn't need to use them thanks to the good security around the city. I tried them out before tje trip and are very easy to use even for the kids, they cover a long distance and the squirt jas pressure and is very precise

Wish I'd ordered this months ago. My husband walks the neighborhood for exercise, and has never had a problem until last week when he was bitten by a dog. Hopefully it will never happen again, but he's prepared now. I didn't realize that the blue canister was a practice canister - I thought it was a two pack. I'll have to read more closely in the future.

A Smarter Way To Stay Safe

I ordered this for my daughter at grad school. She has a few night classes and I wanted her to be able to carry something with her then, as well as when she’s out shopping, etc. The practice canister is a BRILLIANT idea, as it has helped her to understand how the real one will work: basically how to unlock it, aim it, and also its trajectory. I pray that she will never have to use the real one, but we both feel that this pepper gel spray will give her a darn good chance to stay safe if she does. I highly recommend this gel spray with its practice canister!

ADD A CURLY COIL TO SPRAY RING

A little small for a big man with big hands. I solved the issue by buying a elastic curly coil key ring at Home Depot. The colored keyring that has an UNBROKEN coil. I simply attached it to the spray ring. I wear it comfortably on my wrist when needed, always at the ready. Impossible to drop the spray...when in a confrontation...as well.

SABRE Red Pepper Gel Kit with Practice Canister & Target

The first pepper spray I owned was given to me by an employer after a couple of muggings occurred in a nearby parking lot after dark. Although we were located in what appeared to be a reasonably safe and busy downtown location, bad things can happen anywhere. So, the decision was made to provide all of us with pepper spray and training on how to use it. Becoming familiar with the workings of the unit is essential for quick reaction time so it is a smart idea to include a test sprayer. Using the included target facilitated a crucial hands-on experience regarding how the unit shoots and the velocity and behavior of the gel before presented with an actual emergency situation. There may not be time to reach into a purse or pocket so keeping it in hand when walking is best. It is easy to conceal in the hand when outdoors or if indoors, keep near a front door or in a bedroom. Hopefully, it will never be needed but there is no harm in being prepared. The expiration date noted on the canister I received is four years in the future.

Is it not a fake?

So today I received my SabreRed pepper gel and I noticed a difference what was on the picture and what I received. Just curious if it’s an original product?

Potent! Wash your hands!!!

I haven’t had to use it, and I hope I never do - but I was attaching this to my keychain, never touching the business end, and some time later I touched my eye. WOW!!! Very uncomfortable.
