Choose the Genuine Honda ATF
When I purchased I got it for a good price, it’s been about a month since. I did a transmission fluid change at home, which is pretty easy if you have a couple jacks and a tool kit. If you don’t mind getting a little dirty and you have some light auto mechanical experience, save yourself some cash and do it at home. I found it is just as easy as an oil change, with the only difference is that it takes the transmission fluid a little longer to drain (even with a warm trans). I used to think my 2010 Honda Crosstour only needed 3 quarts, but I bought the 4 quart pack just in case. After pouring all the fluid that drained out into a gallon jug to the top, I knew I actually needed to pour all 4 quarts back into the transmission. My car was running so smooth afterwards, and a month later the dipstick still comes up with pink colored liquid, and that’s after about 2K miles since the trans fluid change. My old trans fluid was pretty black when I drained it, which means it was damaged and severely need to be changed. I recommend using the Genuine Honda ATF.

I would honestly change your transmission fluid every other year. It’s so easy and affordable, no reason not to. A couple of tips: Get some flexible 1/2 inch inside diameter hose and a hose clamp from the hardware store. Attach it to a funnel to easily reach the transmission fill port. Drain the old fluid into a clean container, then measure how much came out. Put the exact same amount of clean fluid back in. This saves a lot of rechecking the transmission dipstick. I did this, drove the car to warm it up and checked it. It was spot on correct level. Lastly, don’t use third party transmission fluids ever just to save a few bucks. Use what ever oil you want, any brake fluid, power steering fluid... but always use Genuine Transmission fluid and Genuine Coolant. Otherwise, you’ll regret it when your seals start to fail.

Go Honda or Go Home
If you have a non-CVT automatic Honda Transmission, this is what you need to get. Don't get anything else. Anything else will ensure your Honda's automatic transmission gets a shorter lifespan. Particularly if you have an automatic transmission v6 Honda / Acura from 1997 - 2007, you don't want to get anything else.

Shifts much smoother now
My 1998 civic dx with 4 speed automatic was starting shift in a clunky manner accelerating and decelerating. Per YouTube advice, I merely drained old fluid and put in this new fluid. Do not flush the system. It made a huge difference. It now shifts very smoothly between gears.

For Hondas, you need to use Honda transmission fluid
My mechanic reminded me to get OEM Honda transmission fluid (and he does not work for Honda). He knows that Honda transmissions require it. The dealership wanted $120 to drain the fluid (permanent filter) and my mechanic did it for $40 plus the $38 I spent on the 4 quarts.

original fluid for Honda Transmission
Dumped and filled the transmission fluid on a recent purchase of a 1998 civic. The fluid looked bad and the magnetic plug had moderate metal shavings. I did have 2 check engine codes, one for a engine/torque converter mismatch, and something else I can't remember which. Changing the fluid stopped both codes and the thing has run fine with smoother shifting. This should really be changed every 30,000 miles in my opinion. I needed about 3L to dump and fill and I think the total capacity is more like 5 to 6 quarts. So to really get a good "change" in fluid you need to dump and fill 2 or 3 times with some driving between.

Best price I could find especially with prime shipping
Genuine Honda transmission fluid (in case others didn't know DW-1 replaced Z-1) and a better price than anywhere else I could find. No reason not to give it five stars.

The best ATF for a Honda
This is the good stuff. Nothing else works as well in a Honda automatic transmission. It's much wiser to use the proper ATF, even though it's not cheap, than to have your tranny shift roughly and die sooner. Amazon has the best price, shipped, that I could find anywhere.

Fast delivery and good service and a crush washer included!
As one reviewer noted, there was a crush washer taped to one of the bottles. Very handy (even though I wish they would have mentioned that in the advertisement! (I bought a pack of 5 washers with the order of the oil). No harm. Fast delivery and good service. I highly recommend.
