Great product

I have been using this style bib for over a year & I get one for every baby shower I attend. It's extremely practical. The only reason I am on my 2nd bib is because I scrub vigorously with a bottle brush every night. So the first one got extremely fuzzy/pilled on top. For what it's worth, though, when I went to replace that first one, I purchased a competitor's version (Summer Infant) which was silicone all the way to the top. I thought "great, it won't pill when I scrub" -- but it was really heavy, still, and kiddo couldn't remove it by themself. So I ended up going with another OXO! Just accepting that eventually, it would get pilled and I would have to replace. It was worth it.

Best bib I've found. Perfect, functional design. No gap at neck to soil clothing.

I've wasted money on several different bibs and soiled a lot of nice clothes before I finally found this perfect bib. Pros 1. I love how the top part is made of fabric and not silicon, which is not as comfortable as fabric. The fabric also helps reduce the weight of the bib. 2. Top part has a long velcro portion (the soft fuzzy side), allowing you to adjust the fit around different neck sizes perfectly. I use this on my 6-month old as well as my 3 year-old without any problems, regardless of their huge size difference. 3. Clothes around the neck area don't get soiled! Due to part #2 mentioned above, you can adjust the fabric to fit snugly around the neck, preventing spills onto clothes. This was a feature sorely lacking in a lot of other bibs I've tried, which left big gaps at the neck area and consequently allowed spills to stain clothing. 4. The fabric portion is waterproof and allows spills to be easily wiped away. 5. The bib rolls up and has a little knob that fits the hole in the front, so the bib stays rolled up perfectly for travel. 6. Bottom catcher portion is big and stays open to catch spills/food. Cons 1. The fabric and velcro portions start to smell bad if the bib isn't fully dried out in between uses. I soak it in vinegar/baking soda solution to rid the smell. If you want to prevent it, then I'd recommend buying another to switch between while one dries.

I’ll never buy another bib again!

These are the only bibs we use for our now almost 2 year old son and we’ve been using them since he started eating solids. After a year and a half of very heavy use, we decided to buy new ones to replace the old ones, which were faded and stained but still functional. The silicone food catcher works great (and is necessary with a messy toddler) and the upper part of the bib is a nice wipeable fabric so it’s comfortable for him to wear. I’ve noticed some other similar bibs are made entirely of silicone, which I think could pull the hair on their neck. I hand wash these, which probably also contributes to their longevity (although waiting for the fabric portion to fully dry if it was soaking in the sink is a pain.) This is one of the best baby products I have found and I often recommend them to friends with little ones.

Favorite bib!

I've tried several different brands and this is my favorite. -Tommy Tippee silicone bibs: found these to be too stiff. I couldn't get a good fit around the neck and there was just a permanent crease under the chin where all of the food would leak under and onto my son's clothes. -Happy Healthy Parent silicone bibs: I liked the weight and flexibility of these compared to the TT Bibs and could get a better fit around the neck. However, if my son moved around too much in his high chair or even brought his arms together, the bibs would bend in the middle and food would seep under. -Oxo tot bibs: I got just one to try because the reviews about mold and smell made me nervous. I love these bibs! I bought a second one. We have been using them daily for over a month and they are good as new. The fit around the neck is truly snug and nothing gets on my son's shirt under the bib. The velcro stays clean if you rinse it off and grips great. The fabric portion washes great. I usually rub it with a soapy sponge, rinse it, and hang it upside down to dry. The silicone tray catches everything. Yes, these take a little longer to dry than pure silicone bibs, but if you have two, there's always one bib dry enough to use. I highly recommend this item.

Great purchase.

I bought this as a gift, and it has been reported back to me that it is a great item. The baby's grandma even admitted she found it "stupid-looking and seemingly useless" until she used it and has since declared it to be "ingenious." If it gets too dirty, it can go right in the washing machine (it would seem ill-advised to put it in the dryer, not sure what the care instructions say), but can also be wiped off or swished in the sink if it's only marginally dirty.

Best bibs out there!

These are amazing, I have 2 and will probably get more as I throw out the other bibs! They are the ONLY bib my daughter won't rip off. They fit nice around the neck so clothing doesn't get wrecked or stained. I throw them in the sink with my dishes to wipe them down, then hang to dry so they're ready for the next meal! Other silicone bibs fit her weird and she just wants to chew on them, bibs that go over the head just get stretched out and ripped off by my little Houdini, but these she doesn't mess with!

THE BEST BIB.

This is the best bib PERIOD. Between the design to catch food and the materials used, it is perfect in my opinion. We've had three that we rotate through daily use by handwashing/rinsing after each use followed by hang drying (dries in hours or less) and washing machine cleaning once a week, give-or-take. They have lasted about 18 months with only one showing some wear because we machine washed it with an inferior bib with courser Velcro that mangled the edges of the fabric. *muffled cursing at inferior bib* The easy portability feature is icing on the cake. These should be issued by hospitals in take home kits or somehow made compulsory baby shower gifts. On a less pleasant note, they were also super handy when our daughter had a stomach bug. It's not like it's easy to lean a baby/toddler over a sink or toilet or whatever when the poor thing is vomiting, especially when they're exhausted and passed out on your chest. This bib caught it all and could be easily cleaned. OXO's strong backing also doesn't hurt, though we've never had to contact them about this product.

LOVE IT! BUY IT!!!!!

I bought the baby bjorn bibs first, and honestly, I hate them! They are so harsh on my baby's neck! This OXO bibs are fantastic!! - the part that tie on the baby's neck is made of washable fabric, kind of a parachute cloth, with Velcro making it very easy to adjust. - The fabric is gentle on my baby's neck. - you can roll it up and take it with you. Very practical. - the collecting basket is made of soft silicone, very comfortable as she leans over the table. - machine washable Bib - great quality - nice vibrant colors, love the pink! I highly recommend this Bib. For four months I've been washing it daily and it still feels like new. Buy it!!

Absolutely love this bib

Absolutely love this bib!! You have to make sure you wash it good once you’re done using it or it can get smelly cause of the rubber. This is perfect for when my son wants to eat fruit because he likes to suck the juice then spit it out and it catches it. Sometimes, he goes back ok the catcher and chow down on what fell in there. It’s perfect for travel also since the top folds down and can go into the diaper bag easily. We always take this one to restaurants with us. We clean it using regular dish soap and a sponge. Amazing!

The only bib you need!

Favorite bib of all time! It's easy for the child to wear as it's comfortable on the neck and great at catching food messes with the lip on the bed. Flexible material, easy to wash even in the dishwasher, and easy to transport in purse or diaper bag. I have tried several brands with my two children over the years and I'm so pleased to have found this option. My daughter refused to wear another brand with a more rigid design and the expensive nylon bibs were not catching the dropped food particles even though they had a pocket. This is the winner! I love the dark colors and we do not have any stains on the bibs and have used them for over a year. I have two that I keep in rotation and bought a third recently because I wanted another color. The hook&loop fastener is strong and is still going strong after a year though it has a weakened only slightly with repeated dishwasher use but I don't think most people would wash them as often as I have. Try this bib! It will be the only one that you need.
