Time & energy saver!
These color catcher sheets are such a time and energy saver! I no longer have to worry about mixing whites & colors together in the same load. It works 100% of the time, at least for me. I use 1 sheet for regular mixed loads; 2 sheets for brand new clothes especially jeans. They are lightly scented. Its a light, pleasant smell but worth a mention for those sensitive to any fragrance. The sheets come in a box just like dryer sheets. They are not individually wrapped. **SAVE the color catcher sheet for next use if it comes out white/no color!

These are a MUST!
These are an absolute necessity in my house! I have two little girls and I never have enough of their dirty clothes to do loads separated by color. I Just throw everything in together (yes, even reds and white) and nothing ever bleeds onto the other. My husband does his own laundry too (he isn't the best at separating), and this saved him when a red sock accidentally made its way into the whites. I use these for my jeans too since their are many variations of color; from light wash to dark. If you do laundry, then you need these!

A must have for anyone who doesn't like to sort their laundry too much
A must have for anyone who doesn't like to sort their laundry too much. Sure, whites are separate. Towels and jeans and unmentionables each get their own load too, but these little wonders allow me to pretty much throw everything else into the same load. Now I just separate things based on whether they can go in the dryer or need to be hung up. Colors don't bleed onto lighter colored clothes. My home hair dye stained towels don't stain the bath towels. Love them. Once I had a hoodie that had bled maroon from the lettering onto the gray of the hoodie. I tried countless ways of getting the stain out. I finally gave up and figured I'd just wear it around the house. Then I washed the stained hoodie in a load with a color saver and the bleeding was magically fixed. Worth every penny.

THESE ARE AMAZING AND GREAT VALUE
AS BOTH MY HUSBAND AND I BEING MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS WHO LIKE DOCUMENTING WITH GEL PENS, WE WERE CONSTANTLY RUINING OUR SCRUBS AND CLOTHES BY ACCIDENTALLY LEAVING A PEN IN OUR POCKET, DOING LAUNDRY TO FIND WE HAD WASHED A PEN AND HAD INK ON MOST OF THE CLOTHES. THESE NOT ONLY ARE GREAT WHEN WASHING DARK CLOTHING, BUT I HAVE WASHED PENDS AND THE SHOUT SHEET BE SATURATED IN INK AND CLOTHES HAD NO INK AT ALL. I ALSO HAD A WHITE SHIRT THAT WAS ACCIDENTLY WASHED WITH A NEW RED PIECE OF CLOTHING AND DRIED....IT TOOK SOAKING WITH THESE SHEETS AND SEVERAL WASHES, BUT MY TOP IS NOW WHITE, SOMETHING I THOUGHT WAS RUINED. KEEP A STOCK IN OUR LAUNDRY ROOM AND ALWAYS USE WITH DARKS. KEEPS CLOTHES LOOKING LIKE NEW AND COLORS FROM LOOKING DULL FROM OTHER CLOTHES DYES BLEEDING ONTO THE FABRIC OF OTHER ITEMS. I NO LONGER HAVE TO WASH LIGHT AND DARK COLORS SEPARATELY. WONDERFUL TIME SAVER.

If you do laundry, you need these
I’ve used color catchers for many years, so I can wash darks and lights together. They save time and money. (I’ve given boxes to each of my children as they headed off to college.) You can tell they work, because you see the color they soak up. If I have a garment that I know runs badly, I still wash it separately so as not to tempt fate. Recently, however, a new, purple shirt took me by surprise and ran profusely. I had 2 color catchers in that load. They both turned deep violet. The only purple stain was on a white dish towel that had ended up next to the shirt and sat there with it for a couple of hours after the wash cycle finished. Everything else was fine. These are seriously one of the best home inventions of the modern era.

I'm lazy!
I really don't have a lot of whites so most of the time, I just throw all the colors and whites together in one load. (The only things I really separate are workout clothes from regular clothes, but that's because I use different detergents for those). At first, this was definitely a mistake and I ruined quite a few pieces of clothes. But now that I use these color catcher things, my colors don't run into my whites. I've heard people re-use these if they are still white after the wash, but mine are always dingy and colored so I've never tried re-using them. I am still very cautious about brand new hot pink items though, so I always pre-soak those before throwing them in the wash with everything else. I'm sure these color catchers would work just fine with new hot pink clothes, but I'm too afraid to try because I swear hot pink = excessive amount of dye.

How does it know? But know it does!
Shout Color Catcher Dye Trapping Sheets- Is a real unsung hero of the laundry room. Sure you have your colorful little multi-mission detergent pods, there are a wild array of softner sheets and liquids that transform stinky laundry into pillowy meadows of scent, and even more amazing...the products that clean and freshen laundry without any scent at all! But all of that comes crashing down when your crisp white shirts, blouses, and sweaters come out PiNK from that one rogue red ninja sock monkey! I use Shout Color catcher sheets with every single wash to prevent color transfer. I actually use half a sheet per wash, and it seems to do just fine. And a box of 72 sheets lasts twice as long! We know the sheet catches loose color run-off in the wash because the dye catching sheet turns color while your clothes remain looking the same! The used sheets start off show white, and turn light or dark grey, or pink depending on what colors you've washed. I have not had any color transfer since using these sheets. When washing brand new jeans and bright clothes that are notorious for running, you might do the first wash separately. Just for the first wash. Then you're confident these sheets will do the job on full loads from then on. They really work! I don't know how they know what to do, but they sure do work! Remember- half a sheet usually works fine on a standard load, and you can stretch a dollar as well!

Great Product! Can't Live without it!
Love these, they haven't worked 100% of the time but I now use two in a load to make sure - so I'd give them a solid 98% of the time their awesome. Big Saver Tip........ if these come out of the washer white or no color has transferred onto them after using - use them in the next load (don't throw them away). I did this and they worked well even after being wet and dried out. Oh, how many I've just tossed not knowing :(

Great for jeans and quilting projects
When I first started quilting a year ago, I heard a horror story of someone who spent ages on a quilt, threw it in the wash, and the colors bled everywhere. The solution was to throw 1 - 2 of these in with the new quilt to keep the colors from running. So, I gave it a try and held my breath the first time I washed my first quilt.... and it worked! I didn't have any colors run even though I had bright red right beside bright yellow. I also use these anytime I was my dark wash jeans with anything that isn't super dark. These color catchers really do make a huge difference and I make sure I always have them on hand when doing laundry.

I like this product
This products work well, however not 100%. Bought new blue jeans and at first wash, I threw in (for testing purposes) an old white small towel and a few of these dye trapping sheets. The white towel came out with light blue patches on it. Still, I like this product: for instance, I had some summer trousers with different colors (white, black, brown), and last year, I washed them with something black, and the white part turned gray. I kept wearing/washing them, because I like them. Upon washing them recently with the Shout sheets, the white became white and the sheets trapped the "gray" color. SO.... CONCLUSION. Yes, these sheets work most of the time, but I would not throw a red shirt into the whites. Better safe than sorry. Although not perfect, I still give it 5 stars, because grimy, old whites will turn whiter.
