I was a little hesitant to put a generic fan like this into my prized Macbook Pro (Early 2015). Also, this was my first time installing a fan on a laptop and it took a while because I was very careful. It's now been running for over a week, including some very heavy use, but it's been as quiet as ever, or perhaps quieter. I do a lot of intensive tasks, and really hat a hot laptop, so having a good fan is important. The computer is by far the best in terms of running cool, so I really didn't want to lose that. So, I'm pleased. One thing I learned in all the research I did was how important a proper thermal compound application is. I ended up using too little if anything -- but it seems to have been enough. The range listed in the Macs Fan Control app says the rpm range is 1299 - 6199, but the fan never goes above 2300, and usually is about 1900 under heavy use. At 2300, I just barely can hear the fan in a very quite room.

Installed in 30 minutes, works great.

Easy to install on my 2015 MacBook Pro. My fan started to make grinding noises almost like sand was in the ball bearings. I did have to buy a toolkit to open the MacBook, but replacing the fan was super simple. It fit great and runs smooth.

Works great! Fan kicks up when needed and fit perfect. Was able to complete the repair myself.
