I love this more than the silent spinner which is a nightmare to clean because of the ridges. This comes apart so easily and I just spray it with a hose and it cleans up quickly! The bearings also seem easy to replace if they get slowed/damaged by the water. My hedgehog also uses it more than he used the silent spinner! Crouton is happy, I'm happy.

Must have for hedgehog owners

This wheel is everything! Super quiet, stable, easy to clean. My hedghog runs all night long in my bed room and this is the only wheel that I can sleep at peace.

Great product

My rats use this frequently and since I have male rats I was a bit concerned about how much they'd use it. It is silent unless they've drug stuff in there with them in which case it can be rather loud but that's my rat's not a defect in the product. They also love to just hang out in it so it serves lots of purposes. If your rats need exercise then this may be a great choice for you.

silence is golden

This is exactly what I was looking for , my Hedgehogs used to keep me up all night with the old wheel , these are quiet !

Our hedgehog, Margaret, LOVES her wheel. Every night, after her dinner, she climbs aboard and takes off for world's unknown. We joke that she runs all the way to Africa and back each night on her wheel. This is the second one for her. After about a year, it gets off-balance and the smell from her pee and poop gets embedded in the plastic and, no matter how much we scrub, it won't come out. It's all right though, as Margaret is worth buying one wheel a year. Oh, it is silent, which is great. And another note: if you have a hedgehog, don't order the one with traction (sand paper) because their feet will be bloody after three or four rounds.

Wide one perfect for my Syrian hamster!

Has been great for my Syrian hamster. I'm definitely glad I got the wide one though. I love that it came with the cage attachment, though I still would enjoy it regardless, as it has a very solid and sturdy stand that it comes pre-attached to. and the size is perfect!! My only complaint would be that it seems to occasionally hit the side of the cage as he's running, but that could be an issue with my cage and it's shape towards the bottom. Also, the top of the wheel (with the holes in it) is a bit difficult to reattach when taking off for cleaning, at least the first few times. I do love that the holes are big enough to get a good view of your hamster while it's running, not too obscure. It also doesn't have a spoke going through the middle, so no risk of injury from that (not that those cause risk with hamsters, but I've heard some really sad cases with sugar gliders..) Anyway, a great sturdy wheel that my little Oreo loves! love the product so far =)

Great wheel for active ratties:)

Great wheel for active rats! My female rat, Brie has soooo much energy and she LOVES this wheel. It's so cute to see her peaking through the holes. It's almost silent. It has a good weight to the base which is awesome cause she can throw her weight around when she runs and this one can handle that. As of now, I would recommend this item because it's pretty quiet, durable, and safe for her to use.

Nice and large for my fat rats

Nice and large for my fat rats. They wouldn't go near it for a few days, but they use it all the time now.
