Compared to IKEA

I'm very happy with this set. The pic is a comparison between the ikea duktig utensils (Ikea is on the right). They are about the same length, but I prefer this spatula because it is wider and has a bend in it. It's easier for my 2 year old to try and flip "pancakes". The spoon is about the same quality and size. My daughter really enjoys the salt and pepper shakers. I like the pot and pan. They are plastic which I prefer to the IKEA stainless steel, as it makes less noise. The lids are interchangeable. This was the only set I saw that has such a good variety of items, so it's a great value. I highly recommend it for a brand new play kitchen setup! Along with learning resources brand play food.

Love it!!

Adorable little set paired with learning resources food. Looove the salt and pepper. It’s not necessarily a con to me bc I would buy it again, but the plates and baking sheet are very small. Good enough for 2 year old hands tho. The only con would be the sharp forks, but I just didn’t give them to my kids. Definitely pleased with my purchase!

Quality Plastic Set

Comes in a nice box with a handle, but inside is the quality you've come to expect from Melissa and Doug. These are mainly plastic pieces, and while they are new to us, I expect them to hold up for a long time. It's a nice set for two children, since it has "full service" for two. We have a KidKraft play kitchen, and this set goes well with it.

Perfect addition to the play kitchen

Purchased my daughter a play kitchen for Christmas, and needed all of the fake items to go along with it. This cute little set comes with multiple items (all plastic) which includes forks, knives, spoons, plates and bowls. The plastic is stronger on the plates and bowls rather than the utensils. So far my daughter has been using this set on a pretty regular basis and it is pretty durable. A few have become dog chew toys..... but, overall I would purchase or gift this again.

The shakers are so cute!

Perfect set for our son's play kitchen. His fave part is the salt and pepper pair, which have little plastic beads inside that are fun to shake, but it’s completely contained and safe, so I’m happy too!

Great quality!

Melissa & Doug's quality has never failed me. My son has a large play kitchen in our playroom and we've been adding accessories over the past year. He loves the salt and pepper shakers and the timer that comes in this kit. This isn't like the cheap, bendable plastic that so many toys are made of these days. Love it!

Seriously cute set that every play kitchen needs

Santa brought this for my almost 3 year old daughter this Christmas. It’s such a cute addition to her play kitchen. She loves pretending to salt and pepper her food and using the mitten to handle “hot” food. Her and her older brother both love playing with the working timer. Personally, I love the little olive oil bottle because it’s a staple in most kitchens/ our house. Adorable set.

Great Durability!

I bought this set for my sons kitchen - and just like Melissa and Doug always seems to do - this set is still going strong! My little boy is a rough and tough little boy that loves to play in the kitchen (I know, right?) and this stuff gets USED! A very great quality product and creates hours of fun play for both of us. Would recommend and a great deal!

Awesome product

Bought this as an addition to a play kitchen I bought my kids. So perfect! They love playing their dishes. The timer and salt and pepper shakers are a big hit especially. The only thing I would change is that I wish it had come with bowls to complete the table setting.

Not those “fake” looking colors

Love this little set with its less loud colors. So many kitchen sets are brightly colored that they don’t look “real” which is what mine wants. She was thrilled by her own set and delights at filling the cup with imaginary water or placing her pan in the oven or on the stove
