A amazing sign and it’s the perfect size. Salespeople usually pretend they don’t know what “no soliciting” means or ignore the sign. This sign clearly states no soliciting and lists them. The sign has a hole on the top and bottom for you to nail or hang on your property. I nailed it to my porch. You have to pass the porch in order to get to my door. So far it’s been working. I haven’t had any solicitors ringing the bell, waking up my pup and making him bark! I definitely recommend this sign and some of my neighbors will be ordering one soon.

I like it. It's very classy. My neighborhood is attractive to door to door salesmen. I get salesmen for security systems(smile for the camera), vacuums (already own), carpet cleaning(have hardwood floors) siding installers(don't touch my historic home), home energy efficiency services(new system 4 months old), satellite, cable and phone services(satellite dish mounted over head), real estate sales and open houses(you're standing on MY porch!), lawn services(my fescue dominates already) newspaper subscriptions(heard of the internet?), chocolate cookies (don't be shy-bring them on!) and religion(already got it). I am impressed with the clarity of the print on the sign. It looks like plastic but not. It's di-bond aluminum probably like pressboard is to wood. I recommend the large 6" sign because NO is visible from 15 feet away and I know my neighbors really want that vacuum as soon as possible. I used black twist ties to attach it to my black security door. It all blends nicely. I wish I had bought it sooner!

When I got this I assumed it had something on the back so I could stick it to my door. It doesn't and that's okay. I ended up making a wreath to put on my door. I really like this sign its sturdy and seems to be made well. Super happy I bought this! **UPDATE** so I got this in April. And honestly I'm pretty frustrated with the way it looks now. When it gets warm from the sun it smells. Bad. Like hot burning plastic. I didnt expect it to stay perfect through the summer. But I did not expect it to have all the wording turn black and pink. The whole price warped and little bubbles started to come out on it. I'm disappointed and won't buy it again. I'll look for something different.

After moving from a condo to a single family house, I soon encountered many door to door solicitors. Not the cute kids selling candy, but sometimes scary, shady looking people that targeted nice neighborhoods like mine. It was frustrating, because I didn't want to seem rude or classist but I really didn't want to buy anything at the door, and at times I felt super unsafe. I placed this sign near the doorbell. It has a little hole at the top perfect for a nail. Otherwise, double sided tape works. I went from 2 solicitors on average a week to 0 in months! It doesn't stop some from leaving their materials/pamphlets, but I can continue to toss those.

We thought we would never buy a sign like this one, but the NO SOLICITING sign we bought this year just didn’t work. I still got the “pound the door hard ladies” whose knock makes you think it is a neighbor or someone with an emergency! They scare us with the rapid sound of their hard knocks, only for us to rush to the door with elevated blood pressure, and then pull open the door only to listen to their belief systems. ( groan! ). The NO SOLICITING sign also doesn’t deter two different belief system folks from ringing/knocking at our door! So we bought this more detailed sign. No knocks or rings other than the postman, delivery service people, friends and neighbors I know! My video system also helps to weed out uninvited guests, but this sign really makes it clear. There is no adhesive peel on back but there is a nice predrilled hole to hang it.

I really love this sign. Since we put it up we have had only two people knock on the door. One apologized and said she didn't see the sign until she had knocked and she left without even telling me what she wanted (YAY) and the other one pointedly ignored it. You're gonna get people like that no matter what who will have the "this sign doesn't apply to me because" attitude. You can't blame the sign for that. The ONLY thing I can have against this sign is the fact that it is kind of thick, so it doesn't work on my storm door like I wanted it to. I decided to put it on the door itself and that will solve that problem. Plus it will keep it out of the weather. I like the look of this sign. It is kind of old fashioned looking and says "go away" but in a polite way! :)

I live in an urban area, so I had solicitors coming at least once a week during dinner hours for years. Some weeks, I had three different people come and knock on my door. I had a standard "no soliciting" sign next to the doorbell, but they all ignored it because they thought politics/religion/fundraising were exempt. Seriously. This is not a joke review. My front door has a small glass window, so I bought this and I mounted it from the inside, front and center, with suction cups. It's been up for two months now and the solicitors have stopped ringing my door bell. This sign spells it out for all.

Looks great. Very professional. It's NOT a huge sign by any means. We nailed ours to our door frame near our doorbell. Though it hasn't stopped ADT from knocking on our door, that clearly proves my theory that ADT salespeople are morons and cannot read.

I really dislike uninvited people knocking on my door. My dogs go nuts and I'm super socially awkward. My home is my sanctuary, where I shouldn't have to talk to strangers if I don't bloody well want to. Between the church across the street, never-ending political campaigns, and salespeople, things were getting out of hand. So I got a sign. It's small, and I wish it came in a larger size. However, it's attached to the gate on my fence, so anyone who wants to knock on my door will see it before entering the yard. Since putting this on my fence a couple of months ago, I haven't been pestered by a single solicitor/evangelizer/campaigner, and there was a LOT of door-to-door campaigning in my neighborhood leading up to the 2018 midterms. I'm actually surprised. I expected some people to disregard the sign, but I guess they respond well to its polite wording and refined appearance. This sign is attractive, polite but firm, well-built, and comes with holes for attaching to whatever. It's smooth on the back so Command strips would work nicely too. I used black zip ties to attach it to my black chain-link fence, and it looks very nice. Best of all, it seems to work. Peace! Blessed, wonderful peace!

States one's position clearly yet tastefully. I ordered the metal one and it looks great. Mounting observations: #6 screws with anchors will work and look perfect; I had some black ones that would have been nice but decided to not drill into my brick. The other option for fastening the sign to bricks would be to use a heavy adhesive like (https://www.amazon.com/Leech-Products-F26-32-Construction-Adhesive/dp/B00002NCKE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1497062842&sr=8-1&keywords=f-26) but chose to go with the 3M Scotch Exterior Mounting Tape and so far (three days) so good.
