I wrapped a few pieces of the interior in my Civic and they came out great! Looks pretty close to real carbon fiber and has a smooth glossy texture. It took me about an hour to wrap the two pieces in my car and I used a heat gun, scissors, rubber squeege, razor blade, ruler, rubbing alcohol, and lint free towels. I really loved this vinyl wrap, looking forward to wrapping more items.

First time user, great results

First time user of any vinyl wrap products and achieved very nice results. But like any product, there are limitations on exactly what it could do. Application on straight and level parts are a breeze, and folding over on straight edges is nice and tight. The issue comes with bends and corners which tends to bind the product. Darts do not work so well like in upholstery, so you have to trim the areas very close to the edge or corner to relieve the material. With some practice, you can get very professional results. After talking with some professional installers, they tell me that they do the same thing. A heat gun makes the wrap very pliable and the adhesion is great. Once you get the hang of it, which will be very quickly, you will be looking for other things to wrap. Have fun, the stuff is cheap lol.

Best vinyl ever!!...absolutely Beautiful

Best vinyl I ever purchased, looks absolutely amazing, looks real, and it definitely was worth buying, however I should have purchased more cause I've been looking now for things just to wrap this stuff around it looks so good lol. So far as you can see in my picture's I've wrapped my smok xcube 2 vape mod,and it's looking pretty sexy lol and I've wrapped the beer tower's in this carbon vinyl and as you can see, and it's beautiful.I'm no pro and I think I did half decent. Very easy to cut and install on just about anything I stuck it on. Even covered the back plate of my cell. It's been getting compliments all day from my club member's and everyone thinks it's real. Next I think I'll be wrapping my coasters on the bar. Can't wait to order more!!! This is a no brainer, give this company your money. And just enjoy it. Would highly recommend this product 100% and look forward to repeated buisness.

Seriously impressed

I've never liked vinyl carbon fiber, it always looks very fake and cheap. However, I really wanted some trim pieces in my car to be carbon fiber. I searched around and stumbled on this product. I decided to give it a go, along with 3 other brands and I would simply pick whichever I liked best. I had never heard of VVIVID before so I wasn't expecting too much. Holy cow was I wrong. As soon as I took all the vinyls out of the box, I immediately knew which one to use. This stuff looks great, it has depth and reflects light more like carbon. I was so impressed with the looks that I packed up all the rest and sent them back. I just spent the past few hours wrapping some trim pieces with it. It is quite a bit thicker than most other vinyls, so it will definitely take some heat to get it to do what you want. Some people say it doesn't stick, but they must not have watched the companies installation videos on how to activate the adhesives. It is designed not to be too sticky at first so you can reposition it easily, then you activate the adhesives with heat according to their instruction. I had no problem getting it to fit very complex curves and corners. It seems to stick very well. IMO, you need to get the "VVIVID Epoxy High Gloss Black Carbon fiber", their other carbons dont look as great as this does. All in all, I liked the end result so much that I logged onto Amazon at 1 am to write this review. :D

Used to replace Audi carbon fiber trim.

This was a great project. Was not interested in spending $100s or $1000s of dollars to replace the damage cracked and peeling carbon fiber trim pieces in my Audi S4. But the car looked very poorly and needed a fix. I am more than pleased with the results I obtained with a few hours time and this product. Does it look exactly like the original? No but it is a very acceptable solution and looks very good.

I'm a long time autocrosser and car guy. I was considering laminating (skinning) my interior trim with real carbon fiber. I bought this to get an idea of what it would look like before I spend the time and money on the real thing. I'm so impressed with how real this stuff looks I might just leave it on and not even bother with the real thing. Thanks for such a great product, this stuff is really nice. Watch a few videos on techniques, and be patient while applying, and you'll get it right the first time.

My order arrived quickly and as described. The actual product consists of three layers: a thin, clear protective layer, the actual faux carbon fiber vinyl, and a white paper backing. When unrolling the product, you'll find that the product will want to spring back into the curled form quite aggressively, so much so that the clear film will crinkle and separate from the vinyl in places. Don't worry, as this is completely normal and the vinyl is what is important, not the film or backing. The vinyl itself was very impressive. I've worked with quite a few vinyl appliques, and this one seems to be of very good quality (though I'll reserve my final decision for when it's been on the car for an extended period). Application was straightforward and I found that I could get away with applying it to fairly complex parts without having to resort to window film spray, though on larger pieces I would definitely recommend it. Once the film was in place, some gentle application of heat with a heat gun set it in place and allowed it to conform perfectly to the piece. Running a soft cloth over the surface helped to set it in place and press it into small recesses. In sunlight, this product really stands out. Light will reflect from the "carbon fibers" in a highly realistic fashion. I am exceptionally happy with the look and have high hopes that it remains durable for years to come.

Great product, I bought this with zero experience with vinyl wrapping. My steering wheel was peeling and this looked like a very affordable way to fix it. I don't like that with the 3M product, you can feel the printed texture. This has a clear layer over the texture and it feels smooth. I had to do the part twice because the first time, I didn't do the corners as well as I would've liked. With a little heat, practice, and cutting the extra material in the corners away it came out very well! The material bends very easily with heat from a hairdryer and as beginner, it was very easy to work with. The clear coat has a little orange peel finish when done but it looks fantastic. I will be buying more of this!

Adds a great look to small and large interior and exterior parts for my WRX and my ATV'c and motorcycles. The service after the sale is great as well.. Person contact with a PERSON not an " auto respond" email.. That little tuch right there will have me coming back again and again..And I WILL tell every one I know in my car club and bike club about VVIVID.. Thank you Joe Clifford....

I love it!

This what my first attempt and wrapping, and this wrap made life much easier. It is easy to manipulate when heated and can be re adjusted a ton before being heated without ruining the adhesive. Like I said this was my first time so the shifter cover came out subpar but the other trim pieces look gorgeous in this glossy carbon fiber! Enjoy the photos, would and probably will buy again! Side note: the company reached out before I received my order giving tips on applying the vinyl and this was a huge help!
