I bought 2 to replace a power sucking MH/HPS 1000watt fixture. Plants seem to be happy with the light. I will be real happy when the next electric bill comes so I ordered 2 more. Excellent price. No fuss no worry, just plug it in. No heat exhaust needed.

So far so good. My First grow under LED. I purchased the 600 watt and the 450 watt For starters and my clones seemed to really like them. After my clones were rooted and ready to come out of the humidity dome, they were transplanted into 2.5 gallon pots. I placed them in my iPower Mylar grow room under the 2 viprespectre lights hung at about 24 inches above plants. They were also transitioned to 20 hours of light a day For the first two weeks((veg spectrum pictured)which runs very cool temperature wise . At the Beginning of week three I switched over to full spectrum and they exploded. Under full spectrum the heat difference was hardly noticeable. So far extremely pleased with these lights and will def recommend for veg. We will see how they do for flower cycle.. As a side note I am using Sensi Grow A/B veg nutrients with Supernatural as an added supplement.

I didn't plan on flowering with this light but it seems to be making nice tight solid buds!

I currently own four of these lights, as well as two of the 700’s by viparspectra. I’ve owned each light for roughly two years. I grown 88 plants, through 4 separate large indoor grows. I’m in love with the viparspectra product, but I will say the 700 model is worth every penny($360), and by far, my favorite light; the 600 ($170)is definitely the better bang for your buck(even though it lacks the dimmer function of the 700). These lights stay fairly cool, I have not struggled with maintaining temps, even during the summer; but I have two carbon ventilation systems set up in the room. I have used both in a 4x3 tent with the doors open, and no vent, just fans, and a vent system in the room of the tent. The 700 will heat the tent to the mid 80s with everything unzipped( it will roast your plants) and the 600 didn’t cause much of a temp fluctuation at all. I also use both veg and flower through the entire grow, and it produces magnificent results in both size and potency. My only complaint is any of the viparspectra models that you see in the black case, do not put out nearly the same white light as the 700 in the white metal casing, but still really produces. Running all of the lights, has increased my my electric bill from $50-75, for six lights; that’s not bad considering the amount of plants that can be grown. That was a huge drop from running the same on HPS. As for the end result after a 12 week grow, my yields were 22% higher than my HPS grows. Excellent product. If you want to go a little more high end and heavy duty, go for any of the viparspectra in the metal white casing, 700 to 1000; but you will still receive the same canopy penetration as the 600.You will need to anchor if hanging from the ceiling, as they are heavy. If you’re wanting a smart economical buy, that still produces great results, this is def the light. It’s pretty lightweight and in a black plastic high quality shell. I’ve never had even a twinge of a problem with the function, and I grow autos that run on 24/24. Actually buying another tonight, so I figured I would drop a review for the product. Let it be noted, I don’t work for this company or do promotions for anything. Just gave ya an honest review.

I did a ton of research across the board and I could not find a light that offered dual switches for vedge/grow and that could be daisy chained to run off one timer without spending big bucks. Until I found these. After doing some research and using Kind LED lights before I decided to give the 600Watt a try. I have had nothing but excellent results and am a few weeks away from wrapping up first grow with auto flower seeds using these. As you can see by the pics they are performing quite nicely. For $189.00ea. I'm glad I bought 3 of these instead of spending big bucks on any of the others. The other thing I really like is because you are only running half the lights you are further reducing power consumption. Worth every penny I paid and I will actually be replacing a 300watt KIND LED in my cabinet shortly with one of the 450Watt ones from Viparspectra, and adding another 600Watt to my room to increase my coverage area.

I got one led to test out and then bought a second two weeks later. If you are someone who is looking into LEGAL cannabis cultivation, this light is great! I completed a full growing cycle before i came to post my review. Some Tips: Seedlings/clones the light was best at 22-24 inches i left the light there and I would then let them grow "into" the light to about a distance 18-20 inches and maintain that until flowering cycle. During flowering cycle i used both Veg and Bloom switches and let the plants grow to a distance 14-16 inches. Keep an eye on stretching during the first week or two of flower as you will need to adjust frequently, and these leds are strong so you don't want to light burn your plants. Heat is no issue but you do want good constant breeze on your canopy. I took a chance because there is not a lot of people who have experience with these lights with cannabis, but it well paid off.

Grows really good weed. No change really to electric bill. Growing in a vivosun tent 2×4 with carbon filter, No smell at all!!!!

Nice & bright. Use both buttons for flowering. Will cover a little more Than advertised. EDIT: AFTER LESS THAN 6 MONTHS USE, THE BLOOM LIGHTS/SWITCH IS MALFUNCTIONING. I HAVE EMAILED THE MANUFACTURER BUT NO REPLY. Very disappointed. :-(

Love this light so far! I started with a Mars Hydro 300 then got a Viparspectra 300 and saw a big improvement but I still needed a little more coverage for my 24"x48"x60" tent so I got a Viparspectra 450w and it was a perfect fit so I am returning the viparspectra 300 and buying another 450w version while keeping the marshydro as a backup. In the future I will buy 1 more as I think 3 450w units setup sideways in a 24x48 will be perfect for complete coverage allowing you to max the tent out with 2 large light hungry plants that are trained well or several smaller plants. Don't get me wrong 2 300's will work but only for small plants as your plants will out grow the 300's fairly fast. You will get better results and coverage with the 450's and if you have the money 2 600's would be even better. Without enough light it doesn't matter what method you use soil/hydro or what fertilizer you use the plant will never reach it's full potential. These are great budget lights for beginners and vets alike and if I can get 3 years + out of them they are worth every penny. Only time will tell from here and I will update as things progress.

I highly recommend viparspectra lighting systems. I am currently pursuing a doctorate degree in plant sciences and we use these units in our research greenhouses. We are studying the impact of specific blue/red wavelengths on flavor volatiles, and supplementing our basil and mint crops with 12h on 12 off have increased key flavor volatiles 3-5x over natural light controls. I have been very impressed with the quality of the lighting systems in addition to the high-intensity output and spectral quality. I cannot recommend viparspectra enough and our lab plans on buying many more units to continue our flavor volatile research!!
