Air conditioning is small, works with minimal noise. Convenient because the maximum is closed from the ingress of water and wind inside. Economical due to automatic temperature control. works with a remote control.

Quiet, cooling

I don’t know why this got any bad reviews. This fits perfectly in my window without me even having to attach it in. I like to use the ac only when it’s very hot or muggy and then take it out and enjoy the fresh air. The sides of this will stay open on their own but they also include panels that you can slide over the accordion wings. I am able to keep it on the energy saving mode and it still cools very well. It is quiet, not rattling or anything. I love having the remote control as well. I’m very happy with my purchase especially as we are in the middle of a horrible heat wave.

Compact but cools room quick!

The air conditioner arrived in a box with Styrofoam padding. It looks new with no damage. It was easy to install. The air conditioner is compact and not that heavy. My room is not humongous or small. It is definitely less than 250 sq. feet. Initially, it took a while for the air conditioner to warm up and to cool the room. I thought it was broken but it wasn't. Have patience! It does cool the bedroom but gets extremely cold. It's nice that there's a remote. In the middle of the night when my bedroom gets too cold, I can reach for the remote and change the settings or even turn off the air conditioner when I need to.

Frigidaire 6000 BTU AC works great

The Frigidaire FFRE0633S1 window-mount air conditioner I ordered on May 20th arrived at my front door on May22nd. How's that tor super fast! The unit was simple to install and it worked perfectly as soon as I turned it on. I'm Happy with it and highly recommend this room AC.

"Man air-conditioning is like the greatest thing, man's triumph over nature" - Evangelion Sweet sweet bliss! this unit is a must. The wings it comes with would help it fit into almost any window I would imagine, plus it comes with lots of foam to help insulate every part of your window. The moment I plugged it in I knew it was worth every penny. Some negatives Quite noisy but I'd imagine most units are... My landlord is chill and doesn't charge extra for energy but I'm not sure I would buy into this units "energy efficient" mode that causes the unit to take a break every 5-10 minutes, only problem is there is a noticeably huge power surge whenever this puppy turn back on so I'm in the opinion that if you actually leave the unit on cool you'll save more. I'm basing this off an episode of mythbusters where they learned how much energy turning something on and getting it "warmed up" really costs. Just get it ;)

amazing steal as i got a new dented AC

all window AC units use to have handles. One could easily carry or hold while positioning in window Not any more. This model too. I found that it does not fit my double hung windows that well, they are wooden and I had to make a small platform to get it to line up with my top window. I give it a 6 overall for quiet and cold. Yes, even in Vermont we need AC during parts of the summer.

Dropped but still works

It work great. Probably would work even better if I had not dropped it 15 feet while installing it. Brother in-law repaired cord that I held onto and got it installed on second try. The remote is a great addition.

Great unit, I'm happy overall.

This unit has 500 less BTU's than the unit than the unit it replaced, but it is way more efficient and cools nicely. I'm happy. I just wish window air conditioners placed the drain hole closer to the back end of the unit. I have storm windows and the drain hole just barely clears the edge of the storm window. Plus when you try to angle the air conditioner you only have so much ability to do that as the slide side pieces have to connect to the window frame in the first notch. Otherwise very happy.

Great Little A/C for the price !!!

Arrived on time and in perfect condition thanks to clever packaging, I only had to straighten out a small patch of coils(the flimsy ones that bend over super easy) on the rear that must have gotten bumped in transit. Easy enough with an old toothbrush :) Unit installs easy enough and comes with everything you need to seal around it. I leave it on auto fan and economy mode, it cycles on and off a couple times per hour using very little energy but keeps the room cool. Highly recommend this product. Quiet enough for a bedroom.

Just what I wanted. works great.

it works great. Cools my room down in minutes. Lots of features including auto fan (keeps it quite most of the night), a timer so it will turn it off in a selected time period should you wish to do that. It even has a "clear air" feature to filter out allergens in the air. And, I love the remote. No getting up to change the temperature. It's great.
