These are great!

I didn't know such a thing as this existed until I saw it during Black Friday sales last December. Have used it multiple times and it really cuts down the work of cutting fresh herbs. I'm pleased with it. I think it would make a nice little gift for someone who grows their own herbs. I also recently found a tool that strips the leaves off herbs and spinach which would be a great accompaniment.

Great Idea Great product

Great Idea Great product! I love my new gadget, It works just as shown and it is a real lifesaver for onions as well as herbs. We like our onions and peppers very small and my old hands suffer when cutting them with knives. I have had this item for 4 days and used it 9 times already. I will definitely be back for more as gifts. I am just as excited over the little herb bags, Perfect for my garlic and ginger! This item came so fast and I am glad it did!

Great Shredders

I bought 2 pairs of scissors, one for me and another for a friend. We both do not like putting old bills or even useless mail in the trash without tearing it up in some way. The scissors work well as shredders and save a lot of time. Just have to be sure to cut up only one or two pages at a time so scissors don't clog up. My friend might use his for herbs too as he is the more serious cook! Thanks for such a great product.

Great product! Multiple uses!

Not only can you use this to cut herbs, you can also use it to shred papers! Specifically, we use it to shred the address label portion of every envelope or document we throw away. When we receive a package, we peel the label off and fold it in half, so not to get any sticky on the scissors, and we shred the address away. Then we wash it and I could use it to cut herbs in the kitchen when I'm making dinner! This is especially cool if you're cutting green onions! Also cilantro and parsley, you can just cut them right up into whatever it is you're making! Also, the cover for the scissors doubles as a cleaning tool! Nothing gets stuck between the blades! This is an awesome product!

The scissors seem ok enough, but the cover/cleaner bit ...

The scissors seem ok enough, but the cover/cleaner bit came broken (see pics). Amazon says it's not eligible for return... UPDATE: I contacted Chefast directly and they didn't have the part that was broken to send me, so they sent me a whole new setup and told me to keep the broken one. They were responsive and very helpful. Love it!

Great Herb tool! Time Saver!

I love using fresh herbs when I cook - but it's always a little time consuming getting the herbs cut up or off the stems. This Herb Scissors tool makes easy work of it! Not to mention easy to clean afterward. But I have to say - I'm really impressed by the customer follow-up letter with special e-book that they send.

Easy clipping

Perfect tool for the task at hand. They look nice and I've only had them a few weeks, but they appear to be made quality materials and will likely last. My acupuncturist turned me on to arugula & sauerkraut salad (I know what you're thinking, but it's actually quite tasty and healthy) and insisted I use culinary scissors to cut the greens before eating. Doing so makes the greens more flavorful and reduces the amount of chewing required to break the plant fiber walls. This concludes this culinary and health lesson!

Herb scissors also good for those pesky return address labels

I get more personalized stick-on address labels than I will use in my lifetime. So as not to gum up my shredder teeth, I bought these scissors to try out. They reduced the work of shredding labels by a factor of about 20X compared to hand cutting, and the glue did not gum them up. I may buy another pair to actually use on herbs. This particular brand is sturdy, sharp and stayed sharp cutting hundreds of sheets of labels. They work best on single or double sheets.

Great product

They arrived as advertised and before the Thanksgiving holiday. I was emailed by the vendor a couple of times with links to documentation and a beginner's guide to herbs. The product is well made, easy to clean, and perfect for using to clip up fresh herbs (rosemary in particular) for the holiday meal.

Great product

I bought this out of curiosity. When I used it first time it felt clumsy and I was not sure how much pressure to use . But now I use it to cut herbs and even spinach and other leafy vegetables. It works great each time. It is easy to clean as well because of the cap has slits that reach into the scissors slots and remove the pieces stuck in there. I love it
