Buy this now you won't regret it. I wish I knew about it sooner. It's so nice and smooth and more importantly heavy. It's so much easier to shift than a factory knob or crappy light aftermarket knob my car had on it. If you enjoy driving this or any quality one pound plus shift knob is a must have. One thing the instructions don't mention is one of the sides of the metal adapter has slots cut into it. Put this side down on the shifter stem. This way if you sell your car and you want to take your badass shift knob with you and the adapter gets stuck in the ball you can use a large screwdriver to unscrew it and swap for one of the other included adapters that fits your new car. The only thing I would want is if the company made this with a super tight leather cover so temperature is never an issue since other leather knobs are overpriced or held on by those dumb set screws that never work. PROS: Easier and faster shifting Good grip Smooth and solid Cool Finish Logo isn't overstated Not held on by crappy plastic screws like some name brands. CONS Gets hot in summer/cold in winter (use a cloth cover like a crown royal bag to cover when parked)

I found a used/ open deal on Amazon for $25 so i jumped on it. The package came w barely any noticeable signs of use. So I was quite happy with that. First impressions: sits slightly taller than oem and much taller than my Renegade countersunk shift knob. While I like countersunk knobs, this felt much crisper. Throws were notchy-er but in a good way. My only gripe is that the knob comes lose ever so often. I’ve hand tightened them multiple times but they keep getting lose. I’ll just have to use a vice grip to tighten them and see if that works. Overall though, I am happy w the purchase.

I couldn't justify spending $60+ for a shift knob for my 2013 Subaru WRX and also wanted to lower the height (even though it has a short shifter). I remember DC Sports having decent product back when I owned my Acura so went with this knob hoping the weight knob would feel good. The whole ball is made of what I think is a steel alloy of some type. It's magnetic but not entirely. Good weight, comes with the adapters that are also metal. You basically thread the adapter (if you need it) flush and just thread the shift knob on your shifter. Since it's metal, I didn't worry about cross threading or the threads getting destroyed from over torquing. It definitely lower the position a bit but not too low. Still has good leverage and it does make it easier to change gears. It was 47°F this morning and the knob did feel cold but not ridiculous. I'm sure during winter and hot summer the temperature maybe a bit extreme at first but been thinking of eventually plasti dipping the knob for some insulation. In either case this is a very high quality weighted shift knob. The finish is very nice, it doesn't feel cheap and looks great on the car. Once you take off your stock shift knob you will have a gap so if that bothers you and want to keep the cover underneath you'll want to get the shift knob boot retainer.

Just recieved today, have not installed yet. Upon initial examination the product is well-machined and nicely coated with a wrinkle-type powdercoat. I like that the brand name is very understated. The 400 gram weight is robust and the shift knob feels excellent. I really like weighted shift knobs and have the feeling this one will be great for my preferences. It's also less expensive than some competing items.

I bought this to replace the well worn OEM knob on a 2004 Mazdaspeed Miata. This new knob fits perfectly and is about twice as heavy as the stock knob. Shift action is a bit easier and despite my hesitance to move to a ball shifter, it feels amazing. Plus the beautifully smooth paint on the knob matches the metallic grey exterior paint! There's no shift pattern on the knob and the kit doesn't come with any adhesive patterns. Packaging was minimal and easy to get into. The knob was super simple to install. It came with 4 different fittings for various thread pitches and a pad (for inside the ball). Installation took 5 minutes, but the test drive was waaay longer! :)

A lil bit pricer than most shift knobs but looks great and the added weight seems a bit much when it shows up. Once installed which was easy with all the adapters, this thing feels great. The extra weight makes shifting easy and effortless. Highly recommend.

Wanted to go away from the pistol grip style knob and decided on this weighted shift knob for my 2006 Acura RSX Type S. Great feel and the 400 grams are the adequate weight for precision shifts. Very well made as well!

Feels great on my 97 prelude. Identical to the weight and price of the mishimoto. But I love how these have metal adapters for reusing.

Bought for my husband as a Father’s Day gift. He loved the weight of the knob compared to his stock shifter. He really enjoys the look and the weight.

Not very warm for a shifter but does the job exceptionally well. Fits my Toyota AT shifter and 4wd selector. Good feel. Reminds me of the Razo 400g.
