To start with, they work amazing. I got stuck on the lake in deep snow. Put them on and drove out no problems, in fact, I drove for several miles and they were fine. My problem was they got so tight I was not able to remove them! I contacted the seller and what they wrote follows ( I tried it works flawlessly); Hello, and thank you very much for contacting us. We are sorry to hear about the difficult experience you had with removing your Trac-Grabbers. During use, the Trac-Grabbers can shift under the pressure causing the strap to become very tight. When that happens you will need to force the rubber back to its original position on the tire. This will then release the tension in the strap making it much easier to remove. If you are unable to move the rubber back try to slightly spin backward, the other option is to move your vehicle to where the tire is on top of the rubber block. This will also relieve the tension in the strap to make it easy to remove.

I have used Trac-Grabber's for 2 years now. I have a 1994 F-250 4x4 and I use them when the ground is soft with mud or covered in snow. Do they get me out of every stuck situation? - NO. But they have helped me a few times I didn't think they would. I'm putting my truck into some sticky situations driving it all over my property, so I try to have realistic expectations and these have exceeded them thus far. I have found that if I am not careful and I try to get unstuck TOO FAST, I will dig a much deeper hole much more quickly in the mud so SLOW AND STEADY is the key. My truck is not used on the road, so in the wettest part of the year I actually leave the Trac-Grabber's on the truck - it can be bumpy if the ground is hard and/or I go too fast, but I don't find myself spinning the tires nearly as much.... And not getting stuck is better than having to get unstuck. As an added bonus, the Trac-Grabber customer service is PHENOMENAL. I used their website to contact them on NEW YEARS DAY and I got a personal response with the answer I was looking for 2 hours later! I was blown away! I can't imagine better customer service from a company these days.

My pickup truck was parked on a thick layer of ice in my yard, and it sank after a week or so of sun/thaw/pressure so that the wheels were sitting in nice little ice-cups. I tried chipping the ice out, using sand, boards, hay etc. I didn't have tire chains, but that was my last option. While searching for chains I found these. After reading some Amazon reviews I decided to give them a shot. At 1/2 the price of chains, they appealed to my penny pinching instincts. Given that I only needed them to get unstuck, doubly so. Putting these on was super easy. My truck has the custom wheels with the big star pattern with big gaps that are easy to reach through. I just threaded these around each of the rear rims/tires and strapped them tight. I fired up the truck, and within seconds I was out of my ice-cups and unstuck! These seem like they would work in most situations i've been in where I was stuck with tires spinning. When I was considering buying them, I was worried about the quality of construction, from the pictures the straps looked flimsy. Well, I was wrong! The straps are very heavy nylon webbing like you'd use for a tow-strap. The d-ring buckles are heavy duty as well, and these things are built tough. This was an excellent investment. Good design, Good performance.

These things work great!!! I originally get these for my wife in case she got stuck in the snow; they looked fast and easy to put on but I ended up getting stuck and it was a perfect test for these, they worked GREAT! Ok, they are not magical, but they do work great…My nephew got his BMW stuck in a snow drift (up to mid door), I went around him in my F150 (4WD) and got stuck too. I attached these grabbers in less than a minute and was able to get myself out pretty easily…again, they aren’t magic, it took some spinning and back and forth but they “chunked” me out in a couple of minutes, I was then able to pull my nephew out too. Getting these off the tire is another story!! After the spinning tires put some torque on these the straps were so tight you WILL NOT get them off with just your bare hands…I used a flat tip screwdriver and a small sledge to wedge the screwdriver between the metal buckles to loosen the cinch on the straps, once loosened a little you can get them off with bare hands so keep a screwdriver and mini sledge handy with these straps and you’ll be all set. I also had a set of tire chains in my truck I debated on using….these straps are WAY FASTER AND EASIER THAN TIRE CHAINS. I would recommend these to anyone…I’ll be getting another set for my Expedition.

I purchased these last year November because I have gotten stuck numerous times in mud while out hunting thought I would give it a try....I never needed it until last week... I have a two wheel drive truck that generally takes me anywhere in most any conditions but hates mud..lol...I got stuck one to many times and always had to wait on someone to pull me out. I got stuck again last week and called someone to pull me out forgetting I had these. When looking for my tow strap I found these and installed them...I was unstuck and out within minutes....no help needed...They are a bit hard to remove but I found that using a rubber mallet I had in my truck, I just tapped it lightly to loosen and removal was a breeze after that.

These work as advertised, as much as I didn't want to believe it when they first arrived. I got my Tundra un-stuck in 1/10 the time winching would have taken. At this price they are the best off roading tool I have ever bought. I have ordered 2 more sets of these for my various vehicles and family members.

Just used them yesterday in the snow. Put they on my TRD PRO 4Runner and they worked great. A jeep in front of me used tow cables. I slapped these on and they got me out of a ditch very easily. A ram super duty came by and got stuck and I put them on that truck and he got out easily as well. Worth every penny

Stout not all rubber or nylon webbing is made the same, these grabbers are top notch in all areas! stitching: hd thread velcro: 'areospace quality hook and pile' buckles: welded and stainless steel webbing: high thread count nylon rubber blocks: high durometer rubber heavy and robust! Not CCS.... cheap china s....

these are AMAZING! i've helped MULTIPLE CARS get out of snow banks while driving to work. these grabbers bite into the snow deeper and harder than product i've tried to date. i've bought pairs for my mom, brother, wife, coworker, and myself. THEY attach quickly! easily! and they are REUSABLE!

Great product. I put my first set through a very rough test and they held up and got me out. I bought 4 more before I even made it home. One reviewer pointed out that it gets very tight after use, This is true. I was able to get them off with a little work but even if I had to cut it loose it is still far cheaper than a tow and far faster than waiting on a tow call.
