A sturdy cart that will have you wondering why you didn't get one before. This 800lb model is just a little bigger and more expensive than the 400lb (green) model. In hindsight, that 400 would have done the trick while fitting more easily in my garage (those extra inches make a difference). For yard use, if you're waffling, I'd suggest the smaller model if you have less than .40 acre, this model for larger yards, and the 1200lb model for professionals. Note this model seems like it would be difficult to "dump" if weighted down. If moving dirt/sand/etc is your primary goal, consider the cart-like "dump" model instead. The large 10-inch wheels are decent for modest terrain (and the "axle" has some play to help with that). Assembly is easy, the small parts are even labeled for each step. Note the nuts don't tighten down on the bolts all the way, that's apparently by design to allow the the sides of the cart to rise and fall independently on rough terrain. Quibbles: The tires smell strongly, like new tires do. Let them air out for a while first if the cart is going to be stored indoors. The removable sides are a little clumsier than I expected, and they rattle when the cart moves. If you plan to use the cart with its sides on all the time, consider zip-ties to reduce the rattle. Pictured: Loaded with a single 40lb bag of topsoil for scale, of the kind all big-box DIY stores sell. All in all, a great utility cart that will make moving heavy stuff around my yard and garage much easier.

Love these carts. Side note, if you are going to be assembling and or storing these carts in a small area, the smell is very strong and overwhelming and may cause you to feel very light headed and nauseated. I'm sure the smell we fade over time but it has that new tire smell and can be very strong. I purchased them for work. I manage an apartment building and the residents always ask if we have something they can take their groceries from the garage to their apartment and this works perfect. I purchased 2 which 1 of them I took the sides off to use a flat bed for moving furniture and or items that need a flat surface. The other we use for groceries and or when packages are being delivered from our office to residents doors. Overall an awesome purchase. I'm recommending this to my company for all our other apartment buildings!

The reason I bought this cart was a detailed need to carry heavy things when setting up cart camping sites. I sometimes call it "hybrid car camping" where you still have the car near but may need to carry all your heavy items 1/2 mile or so. Then I had the need to collect a lot of firewood once camp was set up. I also wanted a "lake cart" for when I wanted to go to the beach and load a couple of chairs and coolers. This filled that need admirably. Quality is not "fantastic". It's only adequate. This is not a cart for a hard core homesteader or survivalist. The steel is poor quality and I feel like eventually the sidewalls will get accidentally bent; broken; twisted. The tires are the cheap ones that will probably develop aggravating leaks within a year. They were flat when I took them out of the box. I already have my eyes on some flat-free tires ( https://www.amazon.com/Set-Wheels-Center-Purpose-Utility/dp/B0756QNZ62 ) to replace this set with once they go bad. The latches are "fiddly" and often take a couple of tries to get secured. I've pinched my fingers more than once. The handle is probably about 6" too short for me. I may be adding some kind of extra belt/rope. The issue is that once you pile stuff higher than the sidewalls, the cart will pop "wheelies" every-time you give it a tug. This is especially an issue when tugging it uphill over uneven terrain. You can see in one photo that I clearly "overload" the cart with bulky items so let it be said that this cart expects much shorter and denser items such as bricks; stone and mulch in order to stay in balance. If you do have the top-heavy issue, you wind up having to redistribute weight lower down...possibly even hang things from the sidewalls via bungee cord. Given all those gripes and nitpicks, it's still an excellent value for the price paid. I think I paid around $74. Portability is good. I can fit this in the luggage bay of a Ford Focus 2014 hatch and still have the back seats usable. It will fit in many hatchbacks. Just take off the sidewalls and twist it into the luggage bay. It's just so "usable" at camp. You can lay your solar panel on it with bungee cords and get the right angle. You can turn it into a table and set things on it. Or if you need firewood or want to drag it down trail to get a couple new rocks for the fireplace....it's great for that too. It has good shock absorption when you have it loaded with wood and drag it down a hiking trail over roots and rocks. Of course it bounces up and down but it's not too jarring. I think if I extend the handle 6 more inches it will help keep the shock waves off my body more. I expect this product to last me around 1-2 years before I begin having to repair it with new wheels and reinforcement welds. With a little care, I'll get 4-5 years from it. I paid a small price to get a highly versatile tool that saves my back a ton of aching. This type of equipment can easily get into hundreds of dollars so I've saved money to buy other camp gear.

I have had this wagon for of weeks now so I feel I can write a review. I Love it! This is a great piece of gear and I use it almost every day. I do park clean-up and use it to haul my gear and for debris, for moving bulky or heavy items around my yard, and shuttling things between my house and a rental two blocks away. It is sturdy and easy to use. Pros: easy to assemble, while the tires are stinky, it is not as bad (IMO) as some describe. Just leave it out under cover and use it and it goes away. Durable, stable, and easy to maneuver on soft, hard, or uneven surfaces. Remarkably easy to maneuver even when heavily loaded. As many suggested, put some plywood in the bottom for better stacking and stability. Cons: Handle has tendency to rest and rub on front rail and this causes the paint to chip off. I agree that it really needs some sort of brake, the easy rolling tires are awesome except when you need it to stay still! It rattles loudly on hard surfaces. All minor issues. Bottom line: great purchase and a good investment. So much better for hauling that a wheel barrel. Supper happy with it.

A common theme in reviews, when I was shopping for this cart, was that many of them have poor or no instructions. This one is a very simple design, but they still include very clear directions, plus the hardware is packaged so that the various items are sealed next to the number that corresponds with their step in the assembly. The design is super rugged, and there's little doubt this wagon could carry its rated weight of 800 pounds. Assembly took less than 20 minutes. One thing that makes no difference to me, but may to others: the listing indicated it had the type of handle that could be turned 90 degrees, to allow it to be towed behind an ATV. In fact it does not.

After reading all of the reviews on here I decided to give this cart a chance. It showed up in a cardboard box that looked a little on the rough side as it had a hard life while being shipped. Everything inside though was in perfect condition and the red paint on this is like fire engine red. One of the reviewer's on here mentioned that the expanded metal mash is only welded on every third point. That is correct on my cart also. If I was building this, I would weld every single point but I do not think it will be that big of a deal. My entire plan all along was to take a piece of plywood and cut it to fit as a base inside the cart so the expanded wire mash isn't taking the load of my items. I bought this cart with the intention of using it while camping and at the shooting range. I wanted to be able to fill it up with my 5 gallon water containers and shuttle water back to my camper. I also wanted to haul around boxes of shotgun shells in sporting clays and my other gear at the shooting range. After assembling the cart I have no doubt this will be a great cart for what I want to use it for! TESTING & ASSEMBLY This cart took no more than 20 minutes to assemble and the instructions were very clear and the package with the nuts and bolts was very well labeled. The steps of assembly in the directions are labeled one through five. The cardboard package with the nuts and bolts is also labeled one through five. The bolts in part one are used in a simply step one. Very easy. I was rather impressed by it considering this is probably from China. Please see the attached photos for reference. You will need a pair of pliers, and wrenches and sockets in the 11/16 inch and 7/8 inch size. The instructions in the actual simply could not have been simpler. After I got it it's simple, I decided to climb into the cart and stand on it to test the strength of the wire mash. I am a 240 pound man and I stood on the wire mash between the cross braces and while it does sag, it did not break. I would not however carry heavy things in this cart resting solely on the wire mesh. If you cut a piece of plywood to act as a floor, I would not hesitate to Hall 800 pounds of cement bags in this cart. The sidewalls are secure enough when they are all hooked together. As it is designed, I think it should be all or nothing when Using the sidewalls. I bought the 800 pound capacity cart versus the 400 pound model because the cross braces were substantially stronger on the 800 pound cart. They are squared tubes that go all the way across from side to side. The 400 pound cart does not have such strong crossmembers. I figured I would pay the extra $20 to get a much stronger frame. And now let's talk about the smell of the tires. They stink. I would not let this be a dealbreaker as every rubber tire for carts like this is going to smell badly. Get it outside, use it, get some dirt rubbed on them and let them air out. They should be fine. If you have ever been to Harbor freight and seen the tires they sell as replacements for carts like this one, you know what the tires smell like. As far as the quality of the tire itself, the rubber seems more of a plastic consistency than a rubber consistency like you would expect from a car tire. You can find tires to replace these if you desire at Harbor freight that would be better I think. The card was sitting outside my house before I assembled it in my garage so it was cold in the tires were stiff. That might be part of the problem. It was about 25°F outside and only 45°F in my garage. Depending on how smoothly the tires roll across the dirt I might get some better tires for it from Harbor freight that are more rubbery and therefore they would soak up the bumps better. All in all, I think the card is exactly what you would expect. The only thing that was surprising to me a little is that the sidewalls are shorter than I was expecting. I would say they are close to 10 inches high and I was expecting 12 inches high maybe.

Love this lil wagon. I needed something for yard work and to haul chicken supply's in my yard and this is perfect. I saw reviews about the smell yes there is a very strong smell of metal grease and paint but considering it's a outdoor tool the smell wasn't a deal breaker and after being outside for a bit the smell went away. I have back issues and hauling chicken feed and fencing is difficult for me but this wagon is perfect and pulls very easy. Very simple to put together my only issue is the side panels seem less sturdy, flimsy but what I need it for that won't be a issue but if the load is too big I can see them bending easily

I bought this cart hoping it would work to transport about 70 pressure treated timbers from my driveway (where the delivery driver left them) out to my yard. When I realized how heavy they were, I was afraid it would overload the cart and break something, but it worked really well, even with up to 5 timbers at a time. Did the job without breaking down or suffering any obvious damage. I admit I was a little surprised. I found that mine had the smell so many other people talked about. You know that rubbery smell when you walk into Harbor Freight? That's exactly what my entire house smelled like after leaving this in the garage overnight. Not a huge deal for me, since I planned to store it outside anyway, but it was remarkably strong.

This cart was easy to put together and is very sturdy. I like the fact that the sides are easily removable. The previous one I had was from Home Depot and the sides went down but were not removable, therefore restricted the handles side to side movement. The wheels aren't as big as my old one but appear to be well made and rolls very easy.

We bought our cart a couple of years ago, and it came with a one year warranty. I never had to use it, because the cart works so well, and can take all the work I can throw at it. In the picture I posted, I have a pile of rocks in the background, which vary in size. Some are over a foot across and quite heavy. I was able to use this cart to move all of them from that pile and into a flower bed border without any issues. The paint holds up great, and the only issue I had was loosing one of the caps on the latch that holds the sides in place. It was so much easier to take the side off, and tip the cart to drop the large rocks in place. I contacted Gorilla and asked how to get a new one, as I can't find the cap anywhere in my lawn after it came off. I asked how much it would be and how to get order it, or did I need to buy the whole hardware set, (listed on the website as only 7 dollars) and got back a response that they are mailing me the cap I need. Keep in mind, I am beyond the warranty date. Look at the picture. It is still in great shape, and I store it in my shed, and really use it. I just bought a second cart from them, the poly dump cart for moving dirt. I love this company because of these products, and now I can also brag on their support team.
