This thing is the real deal. I was under a bit of a time crunch to move 16,000 lbs of river rocks I had delivered. Having just ordered a cart, I was worried it would fall apart moving cartloads of these things. It didn't. Worked GREAT. Held up perfectly dumping all the loads. I'd definitely recommend having a socket wrench for assembly. My one request would be some type of locking mechanism, since it has everything else. Had a cart go AWOL down a hill. Technically my fault for ignoring the laws of physics, but having a lock/stop would of helped. I would recommend this product to anyone.

I have three acres of land with a lot of trees on it and was in deaperate need of a cart to haul the wood around after I had cut it. I saw the reviews for this guy and thought it would fit the bill. This thing is like the 4x4 of lawn mower carts! The wheels (air filled) are pretty durable and have a nice tread pattern. The body of the cart is well above the ground to make it easy to navigate rough terrain, and is made of heavy duty plastic so it's not nearly as loud as a metal cart. The dump feature works fantastically and the dump body is angled at the back to facilitate the process of the dump. The handle swivels so it can be attached to a mower or four wheeler and is kept sturdily in either position with two brass pins that have hitch pins on the end. The cart was easy to assemble and has hauled about a cord of pine and red oak so far. I honestly believe it will last me for many years.

I read a lot of reviews on this cart from Amazon and other places. I was a little worried about buying the cart with all the tire, assembly and bad smell reviews. I realized after I got the cart there is a lot of people who struggle with following directions. Assembly 5 easy steps 20 minutes that included getting out the tools and putting them away when finished. Assembly can easily be done with 1 person and would probably be 10 minutes with 2 people. The smell everyone is complaining about is worse when you open the plastic inside the box.I assembled mine in the garage after I was done with assembly the smell was nearly gone. If you are going to assemble in your house I would recommend opening a window and using a small fan to move air towards the window. If you are assembling outside only open the nuts and bolts 1 step at a time so your not dropping and losing parts. I would also suggest using a ratchet wrench if you don't own any buy some from amazon. Also on the Safety Instructions is stated that this has a load capacity of 1200 pounds and a dump capacity of 500 pounds. Do not exceed 5 mph. Do not inflate over 30 psi. Do not use on surfaces that can damage the tires. After reading this I realized where all the tire problem reviews came from. It also says do not use this cart for passengers like kids, pets and adults. I would strongly recommend this cart to anyone who can read. The cart can hold a lot the turn radius is amazing the dump feature is great works smooth and easy the handle for use on a lawn mover is great. I also like that you are able to add a railing around the cart.

I was able to put the cart together by myself (about 30-40 minutes), not a lot to put together, looks very sturdy and does not look cheaply made. This cart can hold a lot of weight, just remember unless you are hooking it up to something to pull it, you are the power source. A wheelbarrow you push and this you pull. I have used it several times and the cart has performed as expected. I will give you an update in the future.

My partner: wow, this is like the Mars land rover of wheelbarrows Me: why? Because it's a miracle of science and engineering? Him: yes. And also it looks like it. He was also heard to make the following glowing compliments, "Wow, this cart is amazing" and "I've used a lot of wheelbarrows and this is better than any of them" and finally "this is great" To hear my more thorough thoughts, read on. It's big. If you need to take it into a tight space...well don't take it into a tight space. I had to remove some bricks from my garden wall to get it around a corner. I guess measuring is a good idea. It turns really well most of the time. It smells strongly of chemical plastic. When we kept it in the basement it was a bit overwhelming but now we keep it outside. It squeaks at the belly joint. I'll just grease it but still. It carries a lot very well. I move almost a ton of bark mulch from the front yard to my back yard using it. Have moved a bunch of bricks and stepping stones. Good times. I like the dumping mechanism and it's easy to operate. Pretty simple to set up. It is heavy, but doesn't feel that way while you're pulling it Would recommend to a friend if it fit their specific purposes.

This cart has been the solution to all my yardwork issues. It is heavy duty enough to move large landscaping rocks, or large pieces of wood from trees I have had to remove. The space inside is excellent (even for this - the smaller size) and I can transport all my gardening supplies or tools for building projects. I got this to replace a wheelbarrow I no longer had, and for times when I didn't want to go to the trouble of getting out the riding lawn mower and attaching a trailer. This is so much better than both of those! The four heavy duty wheels keep the cart level at all times. The release mechanism allows for a completely vertical tilt for dumping cart contents. This purchase has exceeded all my expectations and has so many uses! I have read other reviews - several which stated the smell of the cart is intense and several others which said the option to attach the cart to a lawn mower or tractor was less useful. The cart definitely did have a strong odor when I first opened the box and assembled it. I kept it in the garage and it dissipated relatively quickly and no longer bothered me (a few days). I have not personally attached the cart to a tractor or lawn mower, but I will say the front wheels took some repetitive use before they turned easily when steered using the handle. A "breaking in" period may help with that issue. It absolutely became easier to pull behind me, after working with it a bit - which really just means taking it out and using it! Also - I assembled this alone, and found the process to be quick and easy!

You can fit up about six 40-pound bags of potting soil (total of 240 pounds) in this "1200-Pound" wagon. The frame is as strong as any I have seen. The front end turning is excellent. Unlike wagons with a rack and pinion, this wagon has a single pin similar to the pin that attaches the tractor to the trailer on an 18-wheeler. You can confidently push or pull as your first move in any direction forward or backward or sideways with a heavy load and you are not going to bend any part of the frame underneath. You can also turn the front wheels beyond 90-degrees left or right. They can turn about 100-110 degrees to either side - so you can actually pull the wagon not just sideways but slightly backwards on your first pull. The wheels are filled with air. I wish the wheels were solid rubber or filled with foam so I never have to fill them with air ever - but I am not complaining at this price. There is no brake, and wheel friction is low (which is great) so the wagon can roll even on a small incline - but again I am not complaining at this price. I really like this wagon. I also have the 600-pound model and I like it just as much. Five stars.

Decided on getting this model over the 600-lb capacity one and I couldn't be happier. I purchased this to do some landscaping work with crushed stone and saw the reviews on the lower capacity model being flimsy, so I purchased this one which has 1,200 lb capacity. I have moved 25 tons of crushed stone, maxing out the capacity each trip with no issues. The larger tires results in easy pulling over uneven terrain (even for my wife) although it did take a team effort to dump. When I initially purchased this I wanted to see this thing loaded to the max and other than some firewood and a few rocks, I could not see this. So I've provided a couple of photos that show what this can really hold. One of the photos is a couple of trips into my 25-ton project while the other is load 96 (yes, I counted) and still went strong to the end.

I got this cart to move fire wood around the property. The area around the house and in the forest, is sloped and uneven. A wheel barrow is getting to hard for us to maneuver at our ages. This cart is the answer. It is a little heavy to pull up hill loaded, but better than the wheel barrow, by far, & it holds more. This is a sturdy wagon/cart. I put this together, and it took under an hour, and that included stopping to find a different size open ended wrench two times, while also attending to dinner. The trick to get this together in a half hour or so, is to take the bolts & nuts & find all the right size tools, before you begin. Use the packing cardboard to protect your floor, or your knees. Start with the plastic bed on it's side. If you have a helper, one on each side of the bed, it can be put together in much less time. The dump feature pulls to dump, & push back in to lock back into place. The pull handle can be removed easily & the trailer can be hitched to, & pulled by the lawn mower. Good picture direction, bolts all labeled by # sections on one cardboard sheet. Yes, you can easily put this together. We love it! May 29, 2016 update: We had a troop of boy scouts come and move some wood. They all really loved this for the forest work, and asked lots of questions about weight limit, cost etc. They want one for their group, they also Love it! November 2017 update: This thing is still working great! It has been left outside all the time, in the rainy NW, and has no visible damage. Still load and use it every day to move wood, hay bales or kids! Still love it! Gorilla Carts Heavy-Duty Poly Yard Dump Cart with 2-In-1 Convertible Handle with a Capacity of 1200 lb, Black

Could not be happier. I mainly pull this behind my ride on lawn mower and toss wood or fallen branches in to take back to the burn pile, as well as stones or other obstacles that you might normally just drive around - if you even see them after letting them lie year after year in tall grass. But it also makes a handy and light-weight wheel barrow. The size is perfect for me. Its a large wheel barrow, and as such it holds a great capacity (I have the 1,200 lb version) and is extremely durable. It is also light weight, which makes it easy to dump. Its narrow enough (25") that I could theoretically bring in a load of firewood through my front door and around the house to dump off next to my wood stove; though I'm not sure I'd be happy tracking in the dirt from the tires. I also like that it has pre-built slots to add an accessory such as stake out sides (see photo). Besides increasing capacity, this help me stuff fallen branches into the framework to hold them as I drag to the burn pile rather than cutting them or trying to balance them on the trailer. Using a bungy cord or rope also works for this, but building the framework gives the added advantage of increasing the capacity without decreasing the dumping ability.
