This is definitely one of the best $50 purchases I've ever made. I bought it to clean my PC, it's peripherals, and around the desk area. I no longer have to take everything out to the air compressor in the garage in the middle of the winter. It blows so hard on the II setting that I have to move my junk out of the way or else it'll blow it off the desk. I've had a few objects go flying from the air coming out of the side ports of the nozzles. I have a mechanical keyboard (Cherry MX brown switches) and it will trigger key presses pretty easily when blown on. The cord is really long, so I can leave it plugged in and use it whenever I need to use it. Very nice to have a long cord! The unit itself does get a bit warm, but nothing too crazy. As long as you don't leave it on for extended periods of time it should be fine. So yeah, my whole PC area is dust-free now and I'm totally in love with this thing! I might go blow some leaves with it next fall season.

This little bastard right here is one of the best investments I've ever made. Due to the fact that I have a display computer, I'm constantly cleaning dust out of it. With a total of 12 fans, Red Blaze (the computer) gets dusty rather fast. The problem with canned air is it's expensive and gets depleted. This thing plugs in and provides the same force (if not better) as a can of air and continuously works. It doesn't get ultra cold and lose pressure. it doesn't get exhausted where you have to buy more. I'd HIGHLY recommend this if you're crazy about dusting your computer like I have been. There is no reason to ever buy another can of air again IMO.

Blows very hard. I've been running around blowing everything I can get my hands on..... Well, anyway, this thing is well built and works great. I will save a ton on canned air and this works much better.

This thing is actually really cool. I hate canned air and frozen hands, so a few years ago, when I built my first really powerful gaming PC, I bought a small air compressor to blow the dust out and keep the cool air flowing to all of my overclocked components. However, times change and I've had to move back into an apartment, and the air compressor is just more of a pain than it's really worth to blow out my computer on a somewhat frequent basis. This thing does the trick nicely. It's not nearly as loud as my air compressor, although not exactly quiet by any means, and the attachments make a lot of sense for the jobs this is expected to do, especially the brush attachments to help loosen up any caked on dust. It took me a minute or two to figure out how to use the straw attachment, but once I figured that out the rest of it was easy. I love the long cord and how easy the filter is to remove (just pinch and pull it out, and once it's washed and dry it's pretty easy to work it back into place), and when you turn it on this thing has some serious air pressure. I don't know about the people who say that it's not quite as strong as a new can of air - I don't know what canned air they're buying, but this is stronger than any can of air I've ever used, especially on the higher setting. Once you buy this thing, you'll never need canned air again. I highly recommend it.

First and foremost, if you are reading this and cannot figure out how to connect the long straw attachment to one of the included nozzles, READ THIS! Try and insert the attachment from the inner part of the nozzle, pushing outwards (direction air will be blowing). NO FILING, NO SHOVING, NO SANDING!. Its a right fit but that is definitely how those pieces should be assembled together. As for the actual product, if you're like me, one can air bottle is just a teaser. Nowhere near the capacity for me to complete a cleaning task to my satisfaction. This thing will change your life! (as much as coming across a lifetime supply of canned air would change it). MORE PRESSURE than canned air. MORE VERSATILITY with all the included attachments. Seriously, this thing makes me giddy. I'm just waiting to get off work so I can go home and finish cleaning the rest of my house with it. I can't wait to try drying my motorcycle after a wash with this thing, instead of hand drying it! You won't regret this investement. HEAPS of utility.

I just purchased this because I thought my Datavac vacuum died but in fact there was just a loose bolt inside but I'll end up keeping this one anyways. Compared to the Datavac ED500, the Xpower is slightly lighter (2lb as opposed to 2.4 lbs) but constructed out of plastic instead of metal. I actually own two Datavacs and I can confirm what everyone is saying about its design flaw being that air leaks out between the seams where the two metal housings are connected. The Datavac also has an awkward location for the power button compared to the Xpower's which is where you think it would be. The Xpower however doesn't have a notch in the cable to hold the cable in place when it's wrapped up like the Datavac. The Datavac also has indented grips on its handle and the Xpower does not, although I still felt the Xpower was more comfortable to hold because the handle is actually bigger in size. For power, the Xpower has a slight edge over the Datavac given that the motor is slightly more powerful and it doesn't have the leak problem like the Datavac. The Xpower is also surprisingly more quiet than the Datavac and I think this is because the unit is sealed up properly, helping with the noise. So to sum it up. XPower Pros: Quieter than the Datavac, more powerful, lighter, easier to hold, better attachments, cheaper Cons: Cord feels less durable(also not as long), Made in China (maybe you'll care maybe you won't) DataVac: Pros: Feels well built, Made in U.S.A, durable cord, overall durability (have owned one unit almost 2 years) still very powerful. Cons: Heat build up from prolonged use, leak issues, HEAVY If you care more about where it's made, then the DataVac will do just fine, I still plan on keeping all three anyways. The XPower is way better for the money so long as stands the test of time.

Having tested both this unit and the DataVac duster, I can conclude that this unit is better. The problem with the DataVac is that it's housing is made of metal which gets extremely hot, and also the housing is made of two pieces and is joined together near the center of the unit. This is an inherent design flaw which causes air to blow through the housing while in operation, reducing the total effective blowing power of the unit. Some units are worse than others. This Airrow duster however doesn't have that same problem, it's housing is constructed out of high quality ABS plastic (the same that football helmets use) and is actually slightly more powerful, even without taking into account the fixed design flaw compared to the DataVac. Neither blower is a replacement for fine dusting of computer components, such as deep embedded dust in heatsinks. I don't think anything will be as good as compressed air in that regard. However, it will do a decent job of dusting away loose dust in your computer case, and dust on fans though. If you are considering the DataVac ED500, get this one instead.

There is absolutely no reason to buy canned air. I knew this was a powerful blower given the cfm, but I did underestimate it. Spend $50 on it, you will get your moneys worth in a day if you're anything like me. I mean, I bought this to dust out the inside of my computer and it was so strong I was like "man, I don't want to stop using this thing, what else can I dust?" So, I went crazy, I dusted all of my electronics, my ceiling fans, the inside of my cars, my garage... I know right, even my garage. Three hours later my roommate was like "Rone, what the heck are you doing with that blower man? You've been using it for like three hours?" to which I replied "word, three hours?" and continued to dust my entire house. 10/10 much better than canned air.

All the bad reviews are by idiotic people. “You can’t use the straw attachment, the whole reason I bought it”. Really? So I didn’t figure out how to attach it within seconds? “This is too powerful to clean computers” Wrong again it works excellent, the only thing I recommend is holding the fans so they do not spin. “My unit broke on the 4th use.” Maybe you should clean the air filter? You know this air keeps the motor cool right? Anyway this thing is great and it came a day early. I cleaned my computer with it way easier than with air duster. Any bad reviews is just a rare case of a defective product or user error or idiocy.

2 settings. 6 attachments. 1 filter (on the bottom). One truly fantastic machine. Just remember to have 1) A solid grip and 2) an attachment, on the unit when you turn it on. One time while starting it, I didn't realize that I wasn't holding it securely and that there was no attachment on and it flew out of my hands and dropped. Absolutely nothing happened to the unit, but the dust in the area went for a loooong ride. (And it startled my dog). Well worth every penny and would buy it again if I needed to. (Just remember to clean the filter every two or three times using it. (I clean it each time).
