Finding my way to this bag has been painful. Most bags are just a bit too short for my pro stands to fit, and most like this aren't made stably enough to hold their shape/form over time. The biggest problem I have with this bag is that I have to limit its contents to 50 lbs. Its a fantastic deal. PS pro film producer traveling weekly with gear.

Worked out perfect. Able to put in my gear such as stands and tripods as well as much more gear. Handled the trip nicely and all gear packed was in tacked. I bought a strap to go around the middle for more stability and identity. Suggest you purchase a little lock for the zippers to close. Would purchase again when and if I need an additional one.

This bag is excellent for all my studio lighting and audio equipment. For so long I've thrown all my things in a suitcase while traveling and found them tossed around upon arrival. This bag is the perfect size for 2 aperature 120d lights, a mini soft box dome, 2 lighting tripods, 1 camera tripod, 1 shotgun mic boom stand. See pics

I have 39" folded heavy duty 9' light stands, which greatly limited options for a travel lighting equipment case. - This Fovitec 44" equipment case fit my set of 39" light stands snugly within the full length divider. - There are 2 straps towards the top and bottom intended to hold down long bulk items. However the straps are too long and the Velcro stops short of fully tying down over the dividers, leaving too much slack. (See my photo.) - There are 2 shorter dividers for my 2 strobe lights and various battery packs/cables/accessories. (Having a 3rd divider would be nicer to separate the accessories.) - The interior case padding is 1/2" thick comprised of foam/hard plastic/foam layering providing solid protection. The dividers are similarly sandwiched to provide cushioning and rigidity. But the Velcro strips on the dividers are a bit narrow and pulls apart very easily by hand from the loose, non-gusseted interior lining. - A removable full length padded flap gives extra protection over the case cover. - The case cover has a zippered compartment for flat items as manuals, backdrops, cables, tape, etc. - The zipper can be locked, but the zipper pulls don't look all that strong. - The case is ~20 lbs empty and over 40+ lbs with my equipment. So having a top pull handle and easy glide wheels make transport much easier. - The fabric carrying straps makes it easier to lift and drop into a car trunk, but its bulk is unwieldy. - Along the back there are 2 plastic glide strips to assist in sliding the long case from the trunk or airport conveyor. - The corners all have protective plastic bumper guards. - There are 2 rows of stitching all around the zipper, but there is no over-stitching or re-enforcement at stress points especially around the carry straps. You must lift both straps together for even weight distribution. If you lift or pull by one strap, the stitching is bound to come off. There is no clear picture of the interior showing the internal dividers and item placement examples. So I've enclosed a few interior photos. Overall this is good protection for periodic around town location transport at a reasonable price. This suits my intended use and thus 4.5 star for my occasional use. But if I end up traveling or flying moderately, the overall durability may be lacking.

I was on the fence about this because I thought it would be cheaply made and was saving for the think tank case that’s way more expensive. I’m glad I saved my money. I’ve used it for about 3 months now and use it everyday. In the trunk, out the trunk, up the stairs, it’s taken it all and hasn’t broke or torn. I drive a 2014 Ford Mustang and it fits in the trunk with a Think tank airport bag, Ronin case and tripods. It fits my light kit perfectly: Aputure 120d, lightdome, Aputure LS1C, and 1/2 with stands a few extension cords and a couple small lights. Walking up with a single case for your light kit looks pro, and makes an impression that your business is serious. The bag is great, I’d say pull the trigger on it. You won’t find anything else like it for the price.

All of my backdrop equipement fit. I love that the you can adjust the compartment sizes easily. Definitely an easy 5 stars item. Highly reccomend!

This review is for the professional padded version. I got this out of desperation, as my travel gear list has been growing lately! I'll still have gear to carry, but not nearly as much now. I opted for the professional padded bag after reading some complaints regarding the flimsiness of the classic and smaller versions. The pro bag seems pretty rugged! It can stand on its own without flopping in on itself, and the zipper seems pretty reliable so far. I managed to fit 3 collapsible light stands (NOT C-Stands), a boom stand for reflectors, 3 of my LED lights (2 Genaray Escorts, and one Dracast S-series 1000), my slider, and some misc power cables, a smaller collapsible softbox, clips, and hard diffusers -- all in the default divider setting. I'm not afraid to have it knocked around a bit, but don't expect a pelican case level of indestructibility. My only concerns about the bag is the plastic handle (it does not feel 'cheap' per say, but it is obviously plastic) and the lining of the bag itself. It is velcro-friendly, but somewhat loose, leaving me a little concerned about future tears. Considering smaller name brand "pro" gear goes for even more, this is a great value.

I purchased 3 of these cases this week. I needed something that could hold 2 Alien Bess light, 2 light stands, 2 umbrellas and cords and other necessities. Everything fit nicely. The bag seems to be sturdy and the material hardy. I do hope the zippers hold up. They do not seem to be high quality ykk zippers. That said I am looking forward to using these bags. I will write another review after I have used the a while.

This thing arrived in a giant box and is really sturdy. Unlike another customer, the rails on the back are a solid plastic or composite not thin metal. There are dividers inside and a full length pad to cover the contents. Haven't used it much so guessing on durability but it sure looks like it will hold up.
