Good Scissors for General Household Tasks

These are pretty good scissors. They are not the very best scissors, but work great for opening packages and general household tasks. I wouldn’t expect them to hold up for heavy crafting use or use them for sewing or anything like that. I needed some extra kitchen scissors because everyone always takes those, and then I don’t have scissors when I need them. Now there’s always a pair in the kitchen drawer.

Great Scissors

Bought my second set of these. Love how they cut and decided wanted a pair of these type all over my hosue. Can't beat these scissors for the price. I like how they cut and the fun colors. Smooth operation. Cut sharp. I love to have scissors everywhere.

Very sharp, nice colors.

Best pack of scissors, and a great deal. They're all very sharp. I put one in my kitchen to use as cooking shears, put one for everyday use, and the last I'm saving for the right time. Would definitely buy again. The different colors are great, they help me remember which one is for which purpose.

Best, best, best scissors for everyday use

Just got these today. I was worried because of the great cost, so I did a few tests and they even cut through thick cardboard! What a great buy and three pair are great because I'm the Queen of "Great, where did I put it now?!". I've even been known to put ovenmitts and a box of Suddenly Salad in the freezer. (I've had two strokes so I have an excuse!). These are wonderful.

Very solid and great pricing

Ordered a set of these after all of our other scissors came up magically missing. With four kids you know how that goes. So far they’ve worked out great and feel very solid, not flimsy is like some of the other brands. For the price and quality and you can’t beat them. Good multi-purpose scissors

I don't know about you, but I am one of those people that likes having scissors within easy reach no matter where I am around the house. This set is really nice and I like that it's a 3 pack - not too many to have extras but I have one in every place that I tend to want them in my home. They have held up to a ton of use and haven't dulled at all. I am the person who has destroyed flimsy scissors in the past, so I'm happy that these hold up well to opening innumerable Amazon packages of all sorts. Plus, two of the three scissors come in fun colors! The purple one is my primary pair in the kitchen for package opening, and the green pair live in my art making room - both have held up remarkably well for all the work I put them through. Well made, priced decently, would recommend for sure!

Great deal! And SHARP!

Okay, so, I thought reviewers were lying when they said how sharp these were. They were not. They are very sharp and well worth the money! We usually only buy name brand scissors (starts with an 'F' and is -the- brand for scissors), but I was tired of buying the expensive stuff only to have them 'walk off.' So! After extensive research, I bought these. I know you're not supposed to use scissors this way, but I got my Mom to cut my hair with them and absolutely no complaints. Of course, they are still relatively new, but...I will try again in a few months after we've had time to use them in the 'appropriate' way and see what happens.

Good quality Scissors at Excellent Value

Great Value. I figure what not? Scissors disappear in my household. Nice grip & they cut as well as my other scissors which cost twice as much.

Sharp, functional, great price for a 3 pack.

Got a three pack of these and put one in each of the drawers in my house where I am always looking for a pair, very happy I did so considering my local grocery wanted the same price for a single scissor. The blades are SHARP, not to pointing at the end so you don't have to worry about stabbing yourself, but sharp enough that you can slice wrapping paper or even thicker things in a single motion. Handles are easy to grip. Hit the connection with a spray of WD40 (or vegetable oil) if they are pinched too tightly together.

These are so much more heavy-duty than I expected, and I LOVE it! I have them separated in three different rooms in my house (office, family room, craft room) and the three colors help me remember where to put them away after use. I used one of them to cut sheets of 60 grit sandpaper (I know, not my best choice, but I didn't have any other option) and while it resulted in some wear and tear on the scissors, they held their own for the task. I am also confident that these are a high enough quality that I can get them sharpened and use them for many years.
