Worth it

This thing is awesome! We had a vac that worked off suction from the pool pump (we have a intec and filter with salt....thing a ma bob and a 16ft above ground pool), we had probably spots of pollen and other debris roughly 2 to 3 inches think at the bottom of the pool. Suction vac would require us to backwash ever 15 minutes for it to move properly and actually work...done...got this guy, and while it took roughly 3 days...it did an amazing job!!! Now just need to run it once a week or so for the upkeep. I love that it doesn't need to use the pool pump for suction. Only thing I could gripe about is the power cord. I wish it had a swivel. If the cord gets twisted up due to the random pattern it goes, it sometimes doesn't allow the robot to move to poi t in the pool for the rest from the power outlet. The cord would twist up a bit and the robot wouldn't be able to have enough oomph to pull the twist out of the cord...bot a big deal...just a nice to have feature.

Works better than expected !!!

Works great. I was skeptical after reading the reviews on this unit. But it works better than expected. My 5 year old dolphin deluxe 3 unit didn't clean this good for almost twice the price. Cleans my 38x16 inground great !!! I live in Florida so every two days I've got pollen and yellow alge on the bottom of my pool even with the chemical balance correct. It cleans it up in one pass without agitating the rest of the pool floor. Only complaint is the cord could have been 10 feet longer and filter it comes with isn't that great for the finer filtration. Would recommend the fine filter if your doing this for sweeping the bottom in place of vacuuming like I am. Otherwise very pleased with this products results.

Worth the money

I bought this when my pool was full of leaves and 50 degrees. I needed to close it, but wasn’t about to get in it. I read many reviews and had a friend tell me it was worth it, and it certainly was. It took awhile to clean my pool, but it sure did. If I had had this over the summer, it would have saved me countless hours of cleaning using my old sweeper I had to hook up to use. This one just plugs in for power and you drop it in the pool, hit the on button and off it goes. When it fills with leaves, it will just stop running. You pull it out and take out the basket, dump the leaves, and it’s off again. I bought the extra fine debris basket and thought they had sent me the wrong kind. I tried to put it in and it wouldn’t fit. What I figured out thanks to some reviews was that I had to take a part out for it to fit. Unfortunately, it didn’t come with directions on how to do it. So, I got on YouTube and got the answer I needed, popped out the part, and it worked perfectly! I certainly recommend this product. It’s worth the money!

Oh yeah. I just fired myself from pool cleaning duty !

I just opened the pool so it hadn’t been cleaned for five months. Bottom was nasty with leaves and twigs and this picked it all up after 45 minutes it was almost spotless. I was really amazed. Much easier than having to hook a hose up to the pump since this is self contained. Definitely worth the money.

Excellent product

We weren't expecting it for another week, but it arrived the morning of my husband's birthday party, so we were thrilled to receive it. Works great and it will take a lot of stress off my husband, who is the one who cleans the pool.

Exactly what we were looking for!

We have a smaller 18' above ground pool and have been using the standard vac that uses suction from the pool pump. Well this winter our new pup decided to try walking on the cover and it broke, dumping him and all the mud he was covered in, as well as all the leaves that were on top of the cover into the pool. Needless to say it was a huge mess, which after it settled left the bottom of the pool covered in a fine layer of mud and a pile about 2 feet wide of leaves and debris. What would have taken us hours to clean by hand with the old vac took 2 cycles with the dolphin! I was skeptical but ended up thoroughly impressed! I will say the basket did get clogged a couple of times from the sheer amount of leaves, but that would not be an issue for routine cleanings. What really impressed me was how well the fine bits of mud and dirt were removed. It did miss a couple of spots that were closer to the edges of the pool, but nothing is perfect and I am sure I have missed spots cleaning manually as well. All in all, great purchase and does the job. I am even more excited for summer now that I can enjoy my pool without having to worry about doing as much maintenance! Also for those questioning if you need the separately sold fine filter basket, I felt like the standard basket did a great job, at least with the type of dirt and debris we have encountered so far.

The best robotic cleaner I’ve ever used.

This cleaner is amazing. We named him “Thomas “ (the Tank). He cleans our 12’X28’vinyl pool completely in one session. Saves me a lot of time. The basket is clever and comes out easily for cleaning. I ordered the upgraded filter kit and it’s very nice. This gets five stars!

Clean pool

This is a great pool cleaner. Just plug and play I run it thru it cycle once every day or so and my above ground pool stays spotless. It even climbs up the side wall. No more dragging out the hose and doing all the connection thing. I love this machine

A must have!

Works great and totally saves time and work. I have an 18' round vinyl intex pool. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner!
