Works perfect, use a breaker bar not an impact wrench and it will last!
I've read a number of reviews where this works great until it breaks. It's a thin wall socket in order to fit the socket well on BMWs. As a result, there isn't a lot of material to make the walls strong. I recommend never using an impact wrench on this socket, only a breaker bar to break it loose, and a regular ratchet to remove the spark plug. Reinstall by hand and then torque wrench for final tightening. I expect this to last as long as I need it. Worked great at holding the plug in place while I took it out and put it back in. Two thumbs up!

Right tool for my Subaru spark plug replacement
I really like the way this particular spark plug socket grabs the plug with a spring style retainer vs. a rubber ring. Has just the right amount of retention for getting plugs in and out and doesn't hold to the point where extensions might release before the plug does. On insertion this is particularly important - working on a boxer engine with deep plug wells combined with limited access clearance (e.g. a Subaru 2.5l, drivers side rear plug), you don't want to leave anyone behind. The quality is higher than I'd typically have for a once every 5 year job, but at this price point its a nice addition to the toolbox.

Right size for spark plug changes in 2013 Subaru Forester 2.5
I bought this to change out the spark plugs in my 2013 Subaru Forester 2.5 and it worked like a charm. It fits into the tight engine bay compartment without any issues with a 3/8 inch-3 inch wobble extension. Mine was made in Taiwan for those who want to know where it's made

Worked perfectly for 2009-2013 Subaru Forester
Effective in holding the spark plug secure if you need to work in tight places. The thin walls allowed just enough extra working room to make life easier. I changed the plugs on my 2011 Subaru Forester and needed to use this socket to hand tighten the plug in a very confined space where no ratchet or extension would work. Once the plug was threaded to allow more room, the extension could be placed.

Works for 3rd gen Toyota Prius!
This is the perfect socket for changing the spark plugs on 2010-2015 Toyota Prius 1.8L 4 cylinder engines. I replaced the OEM spark plugs with identical replacements from Denso and you can see in the picture that it’s a perfect fit. Other reviews for different sockets have mentioned how they weren’t long enough to accommodate the length of the insulator on the Denso plugs but as shown in the picture this isn’t a problem. Also the spring metal grabbed inside the socket holds the spark plugs perfectly for putting them in or pulling them out of the engine. I honestly couldn’t be happier with how this socket performed on my spark plug swap.

2010 altima 4cyl approved
This worked great for my 2010 Altima which wouldnt take a 9/16 spark plug socket because the tube is narrow down around the plug. Im guessing Nissan did this to keep their repair people from ever using a 9/16 and stripping 1 or 2 out every year. It was cheaper than some of the other narrow walled sockets i saw and worked for me.

Essential for Toyota Technicians
I remember when we first started seeing 14mm spark plugs in some newer Toyota 4 cylinder engines these 14mm spark plug sockets were expensive and difficult to find. Finally a company is making a good product at a decent price. I just used this socket earlier this week to remove and replace spark plugs on a third generation Prius and it worked exactly as it should have. The plugs fit well in the socket and the metal spring holds them tightly enough so they don't fall out. This allows you to quickly remove the plug without the use of a magnet or pickup tool like you would need with a standard 14mm deep socket not designed for plug removal. I did use mine with a cordless impact wrench for fast removal and the square drive doesn't appear too beat up so I hope it will hold up to repeated use even though I think this isn't intended for impact use.

Perfect for Mini Cooper
Works perfectly with my Mini Cooper S. The clearance is very tight and it takes a very thin walled socket to fit. This did the job and appears to be sturdy enough for repeated usage. It held the spark plug securely for both taking them out and putting them back in.

model.
First time to use 14mm spark plug socket, fit perfect if used on 14mm HEX Spark plugs which I think they are on a newer model cars. New spring design held the spark plug in place during removal and installation. Good quality and reasonable.

Worked like a champ on my E92.
The tolerance inside the spark plug holes on my E92 are TIGHT! I tried standard “thin wall” sockets but they just wouldn’t fit. This bad boy is barely wider than the base of the spark plug and fit with zero issues and held the plug in place like a champ. 6 plugs + zero problems = 1 happy camper!
