Nothing Beats a Sharp Knife

A lot of folk go and purchase these 20/25 piece knife sets and they are all crap. You don't need that many knives. I have purchased the dalstrong 6" utility knife and 8" Chef knife. Razor sharp knives and cuts through everything like butter. If you need knives only look at Dalstrong, these knives are the best on the market and super affordable.

Too Good For Me

I bought this to use as a steak knife because I hate the serrated blade of a traditional steak knife. This knife came sheathed in an very nice box. Included was a product pamphlet, support contact card, an official Dalstrong pin, and an official Dalstrong banner. A DALSTRONG BANNER!!! Ok, it was more of a small cleaning cloth with the Dalstrong Lion logo but to you and me it's a banner! I felt as though I had just been knighted by the Queen of England and this was my official knight's dagger. Excellent presentation to say the least, which I absolutely appreciate. The pairing knife is as beautiful as what the pictures portray. It was sharp right out of the box, but not razor sharp. I love sharpening and honing my own knives anyway so I did not mind. As to how the knife will hold up, time will tell. As a steak knife or a pairing knife, I do assume it should last quite a while.

I love these knifes

I don't really write reviews at all but these Dalstrong knifes are incredible. The packaging is impressive but the knifes are very well made. I bought my first one about a year ago and it held an edge better than my very expensive set. Last week I bought 4 more Dalstrongs and replacing my JA Henkles. Might be better top chef knifes but not for this money, no way.

Never Heard of This Brand? Don't Let That Stop You. These are Excellent Knives!

I purchased the Dalstrong Chef Knife, the Paring Knife and the Utility Knife, thereby qualifying for an 8% discount from the purchase price. I had never heard of this brand and was relying on the positive feedback that other buyers had posted. The knives arrived today and I am thrilled. The blade for this paring knife is made of high quality Japanese steel, although the other two that I purchased are made of German forged steel. All of the knives are beautifully balanced with a nice heft. The blades are VERY sharp and come with a protective scabbard. The packaging is amazing - I felt a little guilty discarding the cases but figured out that I would be less inclined to use the knives if I had to unwrap them each time! I would recommend these to anyone who is looking for high quality knives at a reasonable price.

An Outstanding---QUALITY Knife!

What an impressive paring knife... I purchased this for my wife (for Mother's Day) and she really likes it! Over the years I've purchased many well made knifes for hunting and fishing. This Dalstrong knife is designed and made as well (or better) than many of the knives I've owned. The 'Gladiator' paring knife would be a great utility knife to have and use outside the kitchen as well---for your tackle box, backpack or glove compartment?. The workmanship is perfect and the knife has a great balance and feel. The sheath is also nice I'll definitely be ordering more Dalstrong knives in the future ---for our use and for gifts. ***This knife comes with a 'collector's quality' presentation box***

Comfortable and easy to use

Very well made knife for the money. Comfortable and easy to use. This knife is sharp and a joy to use. I found it to be an excellent value for the money. I would recommend this knife to any one who loves cooking but still has to live on a budget. Having used this regularly for several months now. The grip still looks and feels new. The knife is still brutally sharp and does a terrific job. It will be difficult not to choose DALSTRONG for future knife purchases.

Outstanding Quality and Customer Service

Fantastically crafted knife. Superbly balanced and fits the hand well. Extremely sharp edge that easily tackles my delicate cutting needs. Even the packaging itself is so far above what I was expecting. Each knife comes in an attractive box with an assortment of Dalstrong swag. I can't say enough about the customer service of Dalstrong either. I had the slightest problem with my knife and the owner of the company dealt with me directly to solve the issue fast and efficiently. I can't speak highly enough about this product or the company's service.

These are outstanding knives. Very well made, perfect balance and the quality of the steel holds a great edge. You just have to do a few passes of 2000 grit then 6000 grit to maintain the razor sharp edge. I have a complete set of these knives from paring, to boning to prep work. They are by far superior to the German named China made knives offered. These are certainly worth the few extra dollars for a knife that will last for years with proper care. The also come with a very high quality sheath for safe storage. I just wish they made a craving knife also.

Thoroughly pleased with Dalstrong knives!

This is a great paring knife! It is versatile, lightweight, fits nicely in the hand and is sharp! This was my second time ordering Dalstrong Gladiator products. I ordered again as I was pleased with my previous purchases of a Chef's knife and a Santoku knife. These are high quality and using them are easy and fun!
