Perfect Toddler Helmet

Absolutely LOVE this helmet. It fits my child's head perfectly with room to grow and the materials are of excellent quality. We wanted something that looked cute but also effectively protected our child's noggin - and this totally fit the bill. Toddlers are bound to fall off their scooters/trikes so a good helmet is absolutely necessary. This brand was recommended by multiple neighborhood parents as well as blogs. We decided to splurge and buy a quality product - rather than risk it with something that was not as well made. The hearts design comes as pictured, it's whimsical, colorful, and fun. Note that the white background has a bit of transparency to the resin but it is still white overall. The helmet comes with three sizes of padding so that you can customize the helmet size to your child's head. The buckle is fully magnetic, which makes it extremely easy to fasten and unfasten. Will definitely be buying the Nutty brand again!!

My one year old will wear it with no signs of discomfort= major win!!!

Fits my one year old well; looks sturdy, and oh, so cute! He will wear it too, which means it is comfy! He is vvery particular about hats or anything on his head. He thinks this is funny and enjoys running around in it, without trying to pull it off!

Best Toddler Helmet

My Son is obsessed with this, and He's 19 months old! Great way to introduce Them to safety in a cool intelligent way. He actually walks around the house with it on {which with how much He runs and falls, doesn't bother me at all}. Fits perfectly and the latch is strongly magnetized so no risk of choking. The inner part seems more protected than our adult helmets and the insert is Velcro fastened. We love this helmet!! (In the photos He's wearing the helmet backwards.. This is because He puts it on Himselfwhile moseying about 😉)

Awesome helmet.

Love this helmet. My son is 12 months old and his head circumference is 18.5in. This fits him perfect with the thicker pads that it comes with, which is great because it will fit him longer. I was unsure if I should get the baby nutty or the little nutty because both were within his measurements. i am glad I went with the baby nutty because it fits great and I liked the baby nutty's patterns more.

The magnetic snap is fantastic, and fitting this helmet is easier than any other I have dealt with, which is really helpful because kids generally aren't big fans of having straps adjusted around the head. The cardboard squirrel you assemble out of the packaging is a nice touch.

I loved the design but the helmet was just too big

I purchased this for my two year old son who is a wild thing on his balance bike and had been refusing every helmet we tried. Either they were to big, too heavy or too constricting. We go to dirt tracks when ever we can as well as local skate parks so I really needed a safe helmet that WOULD STAY ON HIS HEAD. Previous to this helmet I tried many and purchased two others. Neither of the helmets stayed on his head even though they stated they were made for toddlers. In addition to those I purchased the xs child's Nutcase helmet, I loved the design but the helmet was just too big. As always Amazon returned the item no hassle. I then purchased the Baby Nutty Street Helmet right after. The packaging was good, the design was really cute and it was just like the Child Nutcase but smaller. It fit perfect with little to no movement. My son has sensory issues so he can't tolerate anything too tight or too heavy. He actually will wear this one! He can turn with good visibility, go up and down hills and off jumps and it still stays on. I highly recommend this or any other Nutcase Helmet (we have other children who wear them as well) especially for the smaller child or toddler. Just to note I tried it on our one year old and it was a little too big so you may have to wait if your child is 18 months or less or weighs less then 23 lbs.

Saved my kid from stitches to the forehead

My two year old hit a parking sign so hard (see pics) what would have been many stitches to the forehead only turned out to be a dent in the helmet. I recommend this helmet to all parents. Thank you Nutcase for protecting my child's head. Note: This fit my 2 year old son perfectly (Size XXS)

It's a tiiiiiiny bit big for him but the best fit we could find for a baby so young

Got this for my 9 month old to wear while my husband tows him to daycare in a trailer behind his bike. It's a tiiiiiiny bit big for him but the best fit we could find for a baby so young. My baby doesn't seem to mind wearing it compared to other helmets we've tried, it's cute and should last him a while, and most importantly it seems really safe.

Great features just didnt fit my kidos melon

I Love the helmet, i love the color splash pattern but its too small for my son. i ordered it after the next size was a bit to large with the biggest pads and was so sad when it was too small. we seem to be an a awkward transition between helmet sizes. the pros of the helmet are the no pinch clasp my 2 year old can do himself and the dial in the back to insure its a snug fit every time without messing with the straps

smallest and safest helmet we could find

This helmet is perfect for my 10 month old who rides in a trailer with his sister to school drop off. there are two sets of pads for an adjustable fit. It fits him comfortably and he doesn't pull at it and it doesn't move around while riding. I love the quick, pinch-free closure. it makes it easy to get on and off
